The book was about an Indian princess but was read with an English accent. Old English words like thee & thine were also used. I REALLY doubt that was the way the American Indians spoke. That killed it for me after the first paragraph. It left me wondering about the authenticity of the entire story!!

I have just finished The Princess Pocahontas by Virginia Watson. I came by it as a tossed in item in an auction. The date of publishing is 1927. The copyright date is 1916. Great story along with 9 full colour illustrations. I learned much historical info too. Great change oh pace for me.
