★★★★ 1/2! Come, book 1 of 3! Harper on the run meets assassin James Fenici. He says he only wants to seduce her, but what if she’s his target?

“This won’t be some romantic fairytale fuck you’ve read about in books.”

Books in series should be read in order:
Part 1: Come
Book 2: Come Back
Book 3: Coming for You

Come (part 1) is the prologue to the Dirty, Dark and Deadly series introducing us to 18 year runaway Harper Tate, Harp aka Come aka The Little Soldier and 26 year

COME: A Dirty, Dark, and Deadly Prequel

J.A. Huss has done it again. Solidified why she is one of my favorite authors. With her original story lines, fabulous writing, interesting characters and sexy scenes, all I can say after reading this is I want MORE James and Harper!

COME is about a girl named Harper who has become invisible. Thats the way she wants it. The way it has to be. It’s the only way she can survive.

Come is one of eight novellas included in the BEND Anthology from eight of the Queens of Erotica. BEND will be available for a limited time and include never before released stories. Some of these Novellas will have characters explored in future novels, so do not miss out on getting your greedy little hands on these before they slip away.

Hook, line and sinker. This woman never ceases to blow me away. I have had this novella on my kindle for months, why??? Why, didn't I read this sooner.

I absolutely loved this opening to James and Harper's story. I can't imagine what's coming next, but I am sure there will be tons of heat, crazy twists, and more heart stopping moments.

If you like me have been waiting to read this series, wait no more!
J.A. Huss hits it out of the park. A sexy stalker and a girl on the run.
He tastes like salt and he kisses like the sea. Like a dangerous, killing, unforgiving sea that can do whatever it wants with my body. Toss me, twirl me, take me under and steal the breath right out of me. Make me powerless.
And that’s exactly how I feel.
This is definitely a little taste to get you hooked and ready to devour the author's upcoming Dirty, Dark, and Deadly series... The next installment is due out

Hmm... this a short prequel that didn't really catch or hold my interest.

Sadly, I wasn't hooked by story line (Life on a ship? The Order? Her Code Name? )running away from an arranged marriage in some sort of criminal organization. Perhaps if I got more information because the back story I got wasn't anything that excited me to read the next book.

The immediate 'you're mines' by James Fenici was a bit over the top as well as the sex scenes with this eighteen yea

Wow! I'm intrigued! Come is a prequel within the Bend Anthology, a prequel to the Dirty, Dark and Dangerous Duet. I went into Bend a little leery of reading a book full of prequels but, in all honesty, I'm happy I chose to read it. It's given me a heads up to books I know I'd like to read down the road, books such as this. Now I'm hooked and looking forward to the sequels.

“Go away Beautiful,” I whisper to the fading light. “You can’t see me. I’m invisible. You don’t want to know me. Because I am no one. I’m zero.” - Harper

I absolutely love J.A. Huss and COME is the prequel to her two part series on James Fenici (aka Tet or Six), who is first introduced in her spinoff Guns: The Spencer Book and Harper, a runaway destined for a prearranged marriage and future. I consumed this in one sittin

I have loved Every.Single.Book I have read by J.A.Huss. I discovered her with the book Tragic... was intrigued by her spinning the tale of Rook and Ronin through it and continuing on with Manic and Panic. I have already shared how I felt the growth of the artist as the additional books came... that is a given. So, with these thoughts already formulated, I looked forward to the novella she was contributing to Bend.

This book is the prequel to a new series by J.A Huss called "Dirty,Dark, and Deadly. Through most of this story I had lots of questions about what exactly was going on. I enjoyed every minute of it though, and I am officially hooked and invested in this series.
I can't wait to find out exactly what James Fenici's intentions are towards Harper. He stalked her for quite awhile before he actually approached her. Harper, is a curious character all on her own. It seemed like she had some major emotio

I have to say the writing didn't work for me. I found the dialogue stilted and the narrative, amateurish. Some sentences, I had to re-read twice or thrice just so they'd make sense.

The plot was intriguing but the execution fell flat flat.

Surprisingly, Harper didn't annoy me as much but the hero zero, James is another stalker douche. I couldn't find anything remotely likable about him. Half the time, I wanted to knee his junk. Other times, I want to high-five him. With a chair. Excu

Such a lot packed into such a short story, but what fantastic characters, especially Harper. I particularly enjoyed her slow development, with new revelations throughout the piece.
I very much liked James too, although I'm far less sure of him.
On the surface of it, it seems their tale cannot end well, except maybe, well, there is an outcome I can foresee which might give good closure, but I still can't see that being a full blown HEA.
So then, more questions than answers. I love this type of bo

Reread 8/23 and loved it just as much as the first time!!!

All I can say is JA Huss is a freakin rockstar. I am amazed at the punch she packed in her new novella, Come. You will salivate, your mind will be twisted, you will be intrigued, and because JA never fails in the hotness department, you will need new panties. God does she know how to write a sex scene. Come to think of it she knows how to write romance, intrigue, suspense and characters that never fall short to keep you thirsting for more

Come is a quick read to lay the ground work for the entire Dirty, Dark, and Deadly Series. J.A. Huss deserves a standing ovation for her brilliance in writing. Things happen so fast that you are swept away like a Tsunami!

Meet one of my new favorite couples James and Harper!

In Come, we meet a brave girl named Harper. Harper is living alone and hiding away from the world. She loves the beach. She is very mysterious, strong, and feisty! She finds solace in the crashing waves of the beach!

‘I’m the invisible girl…’

J.A. Huss brings us a prequel so enticing, so powerful and so mysterious it leaves us hanging and desperate for more. The characters; Harper and James immediately draw you into a suspenseful and gripping drama that you want to see unfold and be a part of. It’s fast paced, exciting and very hot! This story is the prequel to Dirty, Dark, and Deadly and shows how James and Harper met.
They have a connection going on. James seems very familiar to Harper and James knows many details about Harpers life.

Harper is hiding. She had done something to escape and to be free and know she is a target.
James aka Tet or better known as Bobby Mansi from GUNS, well, he is somehow in her shit involved...?

To be honest

And I think it's the story's purpose. I just know that I'm looking forward to this story.

This author's books tend to be hit or miss with me, and Come is definitely a miss. I love assassins, and I can totally get behind a falling for your stalker romance, but I did not like this one at all. Harper is on the run, and lives her life very carefully. James has been watching her careful life for months and finally decides to approach her. What he doesn't expect is for her to flip him over her shoulder and then jump off the pier when he asks for her name. This only makes Harper even more i ...more

What a start to a new series. James, omfg. I was scared leaving the Rook & Ronin gang behind but James & Harper have me fully invested in this new series. The novella is perfect. A perfect intro. Its a full novella, not a short story. I felt like there was conclusion even though you will immediately finish reading and want so much more.
