So, apparently the heroine is a hoe... the first time the hero’s ex f-buddy called her this, I thought typo. Hmm, not the case... she continued to call her a garden tool several more times in the book. I may be sarcastic, but she needs an editor.

FAVORITE ONE OF THE THE SERIES so far!
Oh man did my heart hurt!!
Jamey was a total douche! I hated him right away...but then loved him....gahhhhh then hated him again!! Lol
I felt for Peyton and how her feelings for him were making her weak to be keep going back to him.
Through out this book I didn't know what to expect Jenn to do. Was she going to throw another guy in the mix or was she going to let Jamey and Peyton get their HEA.
My my my how I love the angst. The cheating the lies and the hurtful words hurt so bad I felt it up to my teeth and in my stomach.... NOW THATS GOOD WRITING!
I loved how Peyton and Lacey could relate. Lacey knew all about a boy who couldn't commit and who cheated. So Peyton having her and the others was a blessing for her sanity.
This is my favorite of the series so far. But man oh man am I looking forward to Parkers book!!

Reject me is book 5 In the Kin Series.
Have the tissue on hand Peyton and Jamey’s story is going to pull your heart every which way.
Reject me is a story of love, loss, healing and self discovery. Two people who love each other so much that at the same time it hurts to be around them. With or without each other it hurts, so much they need the other to breathe, feel comfort and protected. The heart wants to stay and the head and family are saying stay away.
What do you do when you feel like you have been rejected by the one person you have been in love with for years? When you can finally admit what you want even though there is so much hurt and distrust in the past. When you can finally come to terms with your feelings and not hide behind them, when you can openly admit everything and lay your heart out on the table. Can years of the roller coaster you call a relationship be worth staying on for another ride? Or is it time to get off? Can love truly conquer all?
Growing up in a small hick town where everyone knows everyone and everyone knows your business. Peyton has had her eye on Jamey Billings for longer than she'd like to admit, what was it like to date a guy as hot as him? We'll it's not all it's cracked up to be!
Jamey was always known around town as a player, he is as cocky as they come (just like his brother once was) and he knows he can get any girl that he wants. Any girl that paid him attention he was all over. His brother and cousin are what he calls "pussy whipped", he is determined not turn out like them. Why would you want to be tied down to one girl is beyond him. Content with Peyton and their non labelled relationship; he loved riling her up and fighting her, it made him want her more.
With Jamey and his lack of commitment, cocky and sometimes harsh comments he and Peyton are constantly fighting. When you're in love with your boyfriend who is incapable of loving you back it's a recipe for disaster and a direct route to have your heart not only broken but shattered.
Being at a family cookout with her family and their partner’s Peyton feels like she has her nose rubbed into what she wants with Jamey. Having them constantly on her back about him not being good enough was getting to her. Is it time to cut him off and see if he comes running back for her?
Walking away from the one that has you're heart is hard to do but it can open your eyes in more ways than one. Learning about life and where it was going and what you really want.
Deciding to start living and moving on is always hard but it's a step forward.

I think I'm done with this series but honestly don't know how I made it to book 3. Like the last book, the characters in this book were incredibly immature and selfish. Example from this book- Jamey has to go to jail and Peyton is mad at him. What does she tell him? "I hope you get raped in the a**!"!!! Wow, lovely.
The stilted dialog really bothered me - sometimes the characters would say "ain't", sometimes they wouldn't. Unfortunately it really stood out and I couldn't overlook it. The constant back-and-forth between Peyton and Jamey got old in chapter 1. Plus I didn't like how wishy-washy Peyton was - pathetic! There wasn't much I can recommend about this book, unfortunately.

I don't know how this book got so many high reviews? seriously, the MC actions were childish and immature, I couldn't see the connection between them, what drew me in was the plot and the reviews but what a disappointment. I'd been rolling my eyes in each confrontation. It's sad because the plot had potential.

Peyton and Jamey's story was definitely a little different for me. Peyton and Jamey were so immature at times in this book, it was a bit much for me personally. Peyton let Jamey use her and Jamey took full advantage. Peyton's family manages to get her to stop their destructive behavior and Jamey eventually has to decide if he wants a relationship with her. Peyton goes back and forth with her feelings and what she wants to do, so there was a lot of back and forth between these characters. Jamey does finally come clean and tries to man up and both of them have to decide if they can let the past go. Wayne and Abigail were nice distractions and Wayne was a great friend when Peyton needed one. There were errors throughout this book but it didn't detract from the story too much for me. If you liked the other books in this series, then you should like this one also. Jennifer Foor does a great job of putting out books that entertain and she always manages to get them out quickly which is pretty great in my opinion.

I loved how Jamey was trying to change his ways but at times I thought he was going about it the wrong way, "I jumped off the bed and grabbed ahold of her before she could leave the room. "Just wait a minute. I get that we're effed up, but ain't this what you want? Tell me it didn't feel good to be back in my bed again, baby. You know I'm right, don't ya?" I loved how Peyton finally voiced her opinion and stuck up for herself, "because you slept with them. Don't you get it? You've destroyed me time and time again. I feel like an idiot. You were out effin' girls while I sat in your bed waitin' for you. How many times did you come home and eff me right after them? How many?" There were some parts that broke my heart but I loved reading this book.

The characters were young and felt young. It started with a h trying to change the H and making him love her and every time he didnt she would cry to him or to someone that should feel sorry for her, it got old real fast for me. H did lie he knew what he could and wanted to give, showed her the door multiple times and she choose to stay every time. For me it was over when the cops were called, dont care who did it, but once its done everything should be done. Its sad and the H that was written to be the unlikable one ended up being the likable one for me. He never pretended to be anything he wasnt, she wanted something else so she should have moved on, so to me there was no cheating, u choose to be his f-buddy, so u cant be mad that he treats u as such.

At this point I'm getting a little tired of these repeating plotlines. Girl likes boy, boy and girl get seperated, boy & girl try again then some shit happens that drives them apart.... agony, sadness hurting and crying, forgiveness... then boy & girl try again.
I think I liked this one the least, but then after Remember me my expectations were set a little higher.

Well… if I looked up toxic relationships I’d probably find a picture of Jamey and Peyton there. I despised both characters. Jamey… how can I describe him…. I kinda pictured him as the village idiot or the town drunk…… a self pitying mamas boy. How he treats women (including Peyton) was disgusting. He’s a liar and a cheat. Peyton was immature and pathetic. Some of the things she said were so cringe. She tells him she hopes he gets raped in prison, that she hates him, and how she wishes he would die. She would reel Jamey in time and time again only to push him away. Besides hating the characters, I didn’t like the story line either. So much of the story was about Ang who is a past fling of Jameys. He didn’t cheat with Ang but Peyton thinks he did. About 65% into the story, Jamey confesses to cheating on Peyton with three different girls the first year him and Peyton were together, but he had been faithful for the last year. Guess we should give him a medal for that 🙄. Apparently there is different levels of cheating to Jamey. There is girls he hooked up with when him and Peyton were on “breaks”. Then we have the girls who he got their numbers and talked on the phone with and then we have girls he actually had sex with in his backseat while his girlfriend was at home waiting for him. So I guess I don’t understand why so much story focuses on Ang instead of the women he actually cheated with. When it all comes out Peyton goes running right back to him. And surprise!!!! She’s pregnant 😐. As far as side characters…. I didn’t like Jameys mom. She couldn’t accept her sons bad behavior so she made excuses and blamed others. Maybe she should have taught her son that women are more than warm holes to be filled. She raised a weak womanizing self centered brat. Take a bow lady 👏. I give 1 star for Wayne and 1 star for Shayne. Shayne was the only person who seemed to have any common sense. Peyton and Jamey deserve each other 😏

Close to a 4 star book but a lot of missed words in sentences. Obviously no proof reader but I did enjoy the story.

I absolutely hated this book! such a disappointment. so let's discuss....jamey is a pig. this story made women look stupid. why is it okay for him to cheat on peyton 3 times and think its okay? I get they weren't in a committed relationship in his eyes but she was literally living with him. waiting in his bed for him to come home while he was screwing in his car behind the restaurant.
oh and all of a sudden he realizes that he does love her and wants to be with her! after she is already gone. wow! thank you jamey for deciding to grace us with your love! and stupid her just can't get over him.
oh and the crying! 90% of this book was peyton crying! its been awhile but I think lacey cried all of the time with joey. the only problem was that joey wasn't as annoying as jamie so I gave it a little better rating. needless to say to all ladies...if they make you cry this much get rid of them.its a sign.
oh and not real sure where wayne even remotely has any real significance in this story. what was the point of him? I actually thought their relationship was creepy.

I'm never disappointed with a Jennifer Foor book. I think this was my third in a row and I still have a few more to go! This one didn't have near as many tears as some, but the humor, frustration, and passion were all there! And now a bit about the story...
This book focused on Peyton and Jamey. He would say they were friends with benefits, but she wanted more and he hadn't seen anyone else in the past year, but wouldn't commit. The path to commitment was a long one and it involved some jail time, would Jamey be able to do it?
Favorite passages:
- I swear, sometimes he used more hairspray than I did.
- More lies to add to the pile. Next I would be sent to jail for being a con-artist. My mother would be so proud.
- “Then make amends with your boyfriend. Just know that if I find out he’s cheatin’ I’m going to have his balls removed with a steak knife.”

this was not one of my favorite books, I did not like the continuous cheating from Jamey and that fact that everytime he apologized for being a douche that Peyton would just go back to him, but then when they were finally broken up for quite some time you could see the changes in Jamey and the pain in Peyton. I liked how Jennifer Foor took the character of Jamey being a total idiot and threw so many obstacles in his path. It helped the character of Jamey grow in my opinion when he officially lost Peyton. It took him a stint in jail and her finally cutting ties with him for him to finally realize that she is worth more than how he treated her. Although it shouldn't have taken him this long to realize it, but at least in the end he is changing into a better man and realizing that Peyton is the one he wants to be with and that he loves her.

This is Peyton and Jamey's story. You start off hating Jamey, he is a total ass. What does Peyton see in him, beside the fact that he is gorgeous? Peyton doesn't want to give up on Jamey but feels its the only way and she breaks it off with him one time, and two times, she keeps going back for more heart ache. But her heart Loves this Ass!! I love this series, the characters and the stories. Jenn Foor characters are amazing and as you find out reading this book, she has you pulling for Jamey in the end. I love that her characters from the other books are all seen throughout this book. Im still waiting for more of Ford and Sky the two who started this series!! Great book and series!!

Hmmm Jennifer Foor sure knows how to bring out the worst in characters through her writing, then turn it around so you change your opinion of them. That's certainly true in the 5th instalment of the Kin Series.
Losing the person that means the most to you, even when you don't know it.
Sometimes it's the only way to make a person real use their feelings. That's what it took for Jamey to see just how much Peyton meant to him. You will cry for them both.
If you like angst filled stories then this one won't disappoint.

Loved Jamey and Pey but i will say i have NEVER EVER wanted to throw my kindle across the room before as to when Shayne did that to Jamey twice. Shayne made me soooooooo mad in his sisters book i get being the big brother and all that had to go on but sheeesh cut her some slack. I totally didnt see the pregnancy coming at all but i loved it. i loved that jamey was on board from day one and seemed to have never messed up with her again.

Jamey is so stuck on himself that the thought of his girl Peyton not wanting him was unimaginable. So when Peyton had finally had enough, Jamey thought it would be easy to move on. Little did he know his deeply buried feelings were about to make headway full force. The problem now is convincing Peyton and their families that his love is genuine.

OOOOoooh.. She did it again! I absolutely love each and everything Jennifer writes. She is one of my all time favorite authors. I fall in love with every character she creates.. At first I wanted to punch Payton in the face and tell her to wake up.. and Jamey reminded me soooo much of Joey that I knew he wouldn't disappoint me. I can't wait to read what she's cooking up for Parker..

Not my favorite of the series. I didn't get the appeal of Jamey and Peyton's relationship but I did like the introduction of a new character, Wayne and his daughter. Hopefully he gets his own HEA.
Glad to see Parker and I'm very intrigued about how he's going to get back into our good graces again.

These two drove me freaking crazy, but I still loved the story. After the emotional breakdown from the last book in the series, this one was more angst. I think the characters ages had something to do with it, but I just didn't connect with them as much. My favorite part of the whole story was the bracelet... what is that you ask, well you'll have to read it to see.

Peyton and Jamey have, what is to me, an additive relationship. She can't let go of him even though he treats her badly and cheats on her. He is so wrapped in being a player that he can't see what is right in front of him. Both have loose morals and no ideal of how to have a successful relationship. It was an ok read. Something to pass the afternoon away.

This book was my least favorite of the series Peyton & Jamey were too immature for words then to go and throw a baby into the mix...even though this book was a let down I am still looking forward to Parker's story hopefully it delivers.

What an emotional roller coaster. One second you love him and the next minute you're hating him. It's amazing how they went through it. Not giving anything away so just read it to find how and where they each ended up.
