Watercress Falls #3
Wanting You
Getting left at the altar isn’t the worst thing that can happen.
Try getting dumped forty-eight hours after saying I do.
Joseph thought he found the love of his life when he was eighteen. When he married her two years later, he was ready to start a long life of happiness with her. But before they got a chance to start a life together, she left after they had their first fight. No goodbye. No chance to make things right. No return date given. She was gone.
To make matters worse, they eloped in secret. He couldn’t even turn to his family and friends for support.
When Mary Beth returns to their small hometown ten years later, Joseph can’t keep it secret any longer. Angry and hurt by how she left, he announces that they’re married in front of her entire family.
Even if it pisses her off—and it does—he wants the world to know they once promised to belong to each other.
Now that she’s back, he wants to keep her for good.
Mary Beth has gotten good at running. Especially when things get a little tough. At the first sign of trouble, she ran from the one person she loved more than anything—her husband, Joseph. Now, she’s on the run again. Only this time she ran home.
After leaving Joseph, she poured everything into her career. She never imagined a small-town girl like herself could make it into the big leagues as a French pastry chef. Following this career path hadn’t been her plan, but she excelled at it and advanced quickly. She also hadn’t planned on the level of stress involved with the fast-paced life of a chef.
She comes home to escape the stress of her career only to be hit with more stress. Facing Joseph is the most difficult challenge she’s faced yet, but it's past time they put an end to their failed marriage and move on with their lives.
But her mother has other plans for her and Joseph.
Forced to attend a marriage counseling Bootcamp by their meddling mothers, Joseph and Mary Beth have no choice but to face their intense chemistry. Things quickly heat up between them—both inside and outside the bedroom—and if they learn to let go of their past mistakes, they might just fall in love all over again.
Falling Hearts is a steamy full-length STANDALONE romance filled with lots of sexy times in the bedroom (or at a resort), profanity, and love with a HEA ending!
Author Notes: Fans of Claire Kingsley, Melanie Harlow, and Catherine Cowles will love this new series by Aria Bliss. Get ready to stay up all night laughing, crying, and swooning. A sexy, brooding cowboy harboring a secret from his family and the woman who’s been running from him for ten years. A second chance, childhood sweethearts, forced proximity, secret marriage romance about two soulmates forced together by their meddling mothers. This one has all the feels and enough steam to fog up your windows. This fictional small town and all the families that built it will steal your heart and keep you coming back for more.
The books in Hearts of Watercress Falls are all standalone novels and can be read in any order. But if you love family drama and the subtle build of future romances, I suggest you read them in order, starting with Healing Hearts.

This is a Second Chance Cowboy Romance/Small Town Romance, and this is the third book in the Hearts of Watercress Falls series. I have read the first two books in this series before picking up this book, but I felt that this book can be read as a standalone without missing anything. I loved the characters in this book so much, and the Mothers where everything. This book had emotions, love, and steamy times. The two main characters spend the book working out everything both them to find out if they really love each other. I have to say the first bit of this book was fast pace and everything I live for. The middle of the book slowed down, but I think it needed to slow down. I loved seeing the characters really opening up to each other. I loved the beginning and the ending of this book. Great read and I love this series so much. If you love steamy second chance romance then you will love this book. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

A book about forgiveness, anxiety, mental abuse, abandonment, and how true love conquers all.
It’s steamy passion, reconnecting first loves, reacquainting best friends and lovers that keeps you on your toes and wanting more.
Imagine marrying someone for just a few days and never seeing them again for 10 years…
It touches you deeply, bringing me to tears with the connection I have with some of my own experiences that she had during those 10 years away from home..
Joseph married Mary Beth when she was 18 and he was 20. She ends up leaving after an argument just a few days later to pursue her dream career that he didn’t know about.
It’s always a pleasure to read what Ms. Bliss writes, her books are very hard to put down and forget. Many thanks to Aria Bliss and Book Sirens for the chances to read and review.

Joseph and Mary Beth are two characters full of passion. Their story begins right as Mary Beth graduated high school and she married Joseph. Their secret marriage was short lived unfortunately. The story picks up ten years later after they both have lived very different and separate lives. When Mary Beth returns to town, it stirs up so many old feelings and emotions.
They go on a counseling retreat for two weeks. In that two weeks they learned about each other all over again and learned about themselves. I thought this was a unique touch to a small town secret marriage themed book.
I felt like I was right there watching, feeling, and experiencing the book...not just reading it. The atmosphere created and characters were so realistic.
I'm very impressed by this book and definitely reccomend it. It's a very good small town romance full of passion and emotion with relatable characters.

Falling Hearts ~Hearts of Watercress Falls, #3 by Aria Bliss.
Falling Hearts has just shot straight to #1 as my favourite book in this amazing series! I just didn't think that Aria could write anything better than the previous two books in this series. I felt like I was actually a resident of Watercress Falls. This sweet, dreamy story kept me glued to the pages all the way to the end!
Joe and Mary Beth are endearing characters who have a great storyline that kept me entertained and engaged from beginning to end, I just loved the dynamic.
I truly enjoyed this book quite a bit, their story is filled with emotions we have in real life. Joe and Mary Beth are very well developed and very important to the telling of the story. I highly recommend this book if you like a great story and a happy ending.
Thank you, Aria, for this fantastic book and I eagerly wait for book four in the series with Sam and Leanne:)
Please keep these coming:))x

Falling Hearts is the third book in the Hearts of Watercress series by Aria Bliss. This series has all of the feels. I love the town. Aria Bliss has set the scene perfectly. This book is about Joseph and Mary Beth. The story starts as they marry right out of high school. It is a secret they share with no one. Mary Beth up and leaves town without a word to Joseph. When she returns to town ten years later, Joseph spills the beans. His mother and Mary Beth's mom decide to get them back together.
Joseph and Mary Beth have lots of chemistry and it great the story ends happily. The one thing that this book gets right is the relationships. The mother and son, mother and daughter and Joseph and Mary Beth. While not perfect they feel real. I love the town. It is some place I want to visit.

I have been patiently (not so patiently) waiting to read about Joseph and Mary Beth. This story did not disappoint. I never would have guessed at the beginning of Joseph and Mary Beth's story, but what a great surprise. After having a rough start, these two are pushed together by meddling mothers who just want what is best. I can imagine being in their place hoping for the best for my child. The emotions and thoughts of both characters keep your interest and help you to feel what they are going through. Highly recommend this story for a great second chance.
I love books that link together in series and you are able to follow the progression of the previous stories too. I received an ARC copy of this book and am leaving an honest review.

This is story is a second chance romance. I loved that it is a little different than the normal second chance romances that I have read.
You do not need to read the other books in the series to understand this book. I have read them but you do not need to.
This story is about two people that get married and come 10 years later their moms get involved and make them do a bootcamp. I love the intense romance the couple has. I cried, laughed, and loved through this book. You will feel the emotions of these two people.

What a beautiful love story. Joseph’s and Mary Beth’s love was one of those ones that time, and distance could not extinguish. It was so sad how the misunderstandings changed their course of life. The journal that Joseph kept expressing his thoughts and love for Mary Beth was so heartfelt and when he gave it to Mary Beth it was so emotional. It was beautifully written, and I spent many late nights reading hoping that the love that Joseph had for Mary Beth would endure. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. This is another great book by this author.
It can stand alone or be read within the series.
The idea for this story is not your ordinary romance, but it works beautifully. I laughed and sighed and was invested in it from the first chapter to the last page.

This is the 3rd book in the Watercress Falls series. And I absolutely loved this installment. It was funny, and sweet, and had me tearing up at times. It was beautifully written, and you could see the story unfold on the pages. I loved the relationship between Joseph and Mary Beth. You can tell that they truly care for each other. I didn’t like how when their families found out about their marriage, they acted like it was the worst thing that could happen to them. Them being married had nothing to do with their families. But, thankfully they redeemed themselves in the end. I loved watching these to rekindle their relationship, and find their love for each other again. Can’t wait for Leanns story in the next book. Definitely recommend this series.

Aria really brings the feels with this book! This secret marriage romance about high school sweethearts Joe and Mary Beth will break your heart but also make you believe in love. Joe is one of her best characters yet! His love and devotion to Mary Beth is achingly beautiful! The journal he writes his feelings in while they are apart is so heartbreaking and really makes you see the man behind the manwhore that the outside world sees.
Joe and Mary Beth eloped and two days later she leaves town to follow her career. When she returns home ten years later, she’s going to have to answer to the husband she abandoned. The town sees him as a manwhore but he’s really just heartbroken. When he thought she moved on, he tried to move on too. When that didn’t work it created a reputation for him.
When their families find out about their secret marriage, they force them to take a couples retreat to see if they can save their marriage. This will not be an easy ride. Mary Beth is confused about what to do with her life and what makes her happy. Joe is willing to let her go for good this time if it means making her happy. Although this time maybe he should fight harder to keep her.
I loved their story! It’s so sweet and steamy! There is just the right balance of heartbreak and rekindled love. You will LOVE Joe!!! I loved Mary Beth as well but because I loved Joe so much I was mad at her. Lol! She’s was young and immature and didn’t know how to stop running from her problems. You definitely have to read and find out how their situation resolves. It’s a beautiful read with an amazing ending.

Joseph Langdon and Mary Beth Strong eloped one day without either of their families finding out. After, a two day honeymoon they returned home to tell their families, but before they could tell them Mary Beth found out she had been accepted into a cooking school in New York. She and Joseph fought about her going away to school, since she had told him nothing about it previously. It turned out to be easier for Mary Beth to run from the problem than face it, so she left for New York early the next morning saying nothing to Joseph. She evaded contact of any kind with Joseph for ten years. At the time she decided to return home because of various issues, and Joseph discovered she was in town he made a public scene announcing their marriage. Needless to say their two families, especially the mothers were very unhappy. When the mothers discovered their children planned to divorce, they stepped in sending them to marriage bootcamp. Joseph and Mary Beth needed to see if the love they had when they married was still alive. Also, it would help them see who each was now. They learned quickly they had good communication skills and chemistry if they would only use them wisely. An emotional read as this couple dissects a decade of emotions between themselves and other family members, along with Mary Beth"s work issues

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Book Siren and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This author is fairly new to me. I found this series on Book Siren and signed up for them. I have fallen in love with her work. This book is no different. My emotions were all over the place here. I laughed, cried and was angry throughout. I felt like a limp dishrag afterwards. I loved it!
Joseph and Mary Beth married at 20 and 18 respectfully. Mary Beth had just graduated from high school and they eloped to start their lives together. They had dated for two years without either of their families knowing of their connection. They plotted and planned their future after her graduation but things just fell apart 48 hours after saying "I do".
Having this book written in a dual POV format really helped me to better understand Mary Beth. There were just times when I wanted to slap her. But seeing her thoughts, struggles and anxiety really helped me to better understand why she did what she did. As for, Joseph, well he was a perfect male protagonist. I just adored him from the very first.
As this is a part of a series, you don't have to read the prior ones to fully engage and enjoy, but they were wonderful stories in their own right.
There were a few sexy scenes so if you don't enjoy that just be aware.

Joseph and Mary Beth were HS Sweethearts. Up until this book Joseph is known as the playboy in his family, little did anyone know he has been married to Mary Beth for the past 10 years. The day after they married, Mary Beth left for culinary school in NY then when to Paris without a word while Joseph stayed home and worked the ranch. When Mary Beth suddenly moves home Joseph very publicly reveals their secret. Mary Beth insists that they divorce but Joseph secretly wants his wife back. When both their mothers plot together and force them to go to a marriage retreat they are forced to have some uncomfortable conversations about what happened and what they really mean to each other.
I loved this book!! Initially you can’t understand how two people can go 10 years married to each other and have no contact at all, then you begin to get glimpses into the reasons they made the choices they did when they ware young and how two people can let fear, hurt, pressure and pride get in the way of fixing a relationship. This is probably my favorite of the series so far. Great book especially I you love small town second chance troupes.

Book Sirens sent me an advance review copy of “Falling Hearts” by Aria Bliss, the third book in a small town romance series called Hearts of Watercress Falls, in return for an honest review. I enjoyed the first books in this series and was looking forward to reading another sequel.
Like the other two books, this one also is a small town second-chance romance, this time dealing with another brother in the Langdon family, Joseph and his estranged wife Mary Beth. Again, the story is told alternatively by the male and female protagonist. The reason for their split just two days after their elopement, which is mainly due to her overbearing mother (I thought the author was too kind to the mother who pushes her daughter to pursue a cooking career only because she herself never got the chance), is explained in flashbacks. Then the story continues with both mothers pushing them to reconcile. In all honesty, I thought they could have shown a bit more character and struggled a bit more. Anyway, all’s well that ends well.
I can’t say enough how I like Bliss’ writing style and storytelling. I gave the book 4 stars and am looking forward to Leann’s story.

in their heads
Eloping to get married at the age of 18 and 20, breaking up two days after that and never meeting again until 10 years after - not the best starting point for giving their marriage a second chance although there is still chemistry they both try to fight. Looking at their history makes is clear why it´s not so easy for them to let bygones be bygones. Being adoptet, Joseph reached out to his birth parents only to be told he isn´t wanted for the second time while Mary Beth could never make anything right in the eyes of her mother, no matter how hard she tried to please her. I can understand that both have massive doubts history won´t repeat itself but those two wonderful characters are made for each other and deserve a HEA. I enjoyed watching them travel the rocky road back to each other, the author made me feel happy and sad for them and the interfering family members made me love them for caring but also roll my eyes for not leaving the couple alone once in a while. Another wonderful book in the Hearts of Watercress Falls series.

"Wanting You" is a sweet and endearing story of Mary Beth and Joseph, two people who secretly married when they were very young and discovered they had different life plans. Mary Beth left for culinary school shortly after they married because she unexpectedly had gotten admitted. They fought and he told her that he regretted marrying her, as she was leaving him. They went their way for 10 years and then she returns home.
Joseph announces that they are married in front of her family, who had no idea that they eloped ten years prior. Mary Beth told him that she wanted a divorce and Joseph knew he still loved her. Both of their mothers had an intervention for them and, out of respect for them, Mary Beth and Joseph went along. During their time of forced proximity, therapy, and bonding exercises at the intervention, they began to understand one another.
It was fascinating to read how two people could have become so lost and through hard work, introspection, and love were able to find their way back to one another. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Such a fun book!
Joe and Mary Beth secretly eloped right after she graduated high school, but then two days later she ghosted him. Now, ten years later, the career she chose over him is in shambles, and she's back home trying to figure out what her next step is.
On a humorous level, this is a cautionary tale about falling in love with the daughter of your mother's best friend. Once these two mommas figure out what their children had been hiding for so long, they arrange a brilliant solution and refuse to take no for an answer.
Now, Joe and Mary Beth have no choice but to confront their history, their hearts, and their hopes for the future. Mary Beth also has crippling anxiety from the events that derailed her career, and I really appreciated how sensitive Joseph was to working with her and helping her through her worst moments.
This is a wonderful story, full of small-town charm and heartwarming family dynamics. It's a terrific addition to an outstanding series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Joseph is a flirt. He has no problem going out with his friend and having a good time. That all seems to come crashing down on him when Mary Beth Strong comes back to town. Joseph hasn't seen Mary Beth for 10 years and he's furious because they have a secret. The secretly got married 10 years ago and wete deliriously happy… for two days. Then they came home, Mary Beth got into an out of state college, they fought, and Mary Beth left two days later and never looked back. But Mary Beth is back and is sure a divorce is what they need. Once Joseph spends some time with her, he knows he never stopped loving her and wants to keep her. Can they get past their pain and move forward together? And they have new challenges that may be insurmountable.
I loved Jospeh and Mary Beth. They may have been too young when they got married, but their love was pure and could stand the test of time. Can't wait to read about Joseph's sister, Leann next! I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily providing my review.

After reading Trusting Hearts and absolutely loving it, I couldn't wait to read Falling Hearts, the next in the series. I just couldn't put it down, finishing it in one sitting. If anything, I loved it even more than Trusting Hearts. In this book, we find out that Joseph, Matthew's womanizing brother from TH, is has actually been secretly married to Mary Beth, his high school sweetheart, for the past 10 years. The marriage only lasted a couple of days before she took off after an argument and he hasn't seen her since. She moves back to town and Joseph tells the world that they are married. Their mothers take over and force the two to go off to a marriage counseling resort, and the story runs from there. It was absolutely swoony and wonderful, and I just love the way that Ms. Bliss writes her stories with such a touch of real life, making her characters just jump off the page. I absolutely can't wait to read Sam and Leann's story in Laughing Hearts.

Wanting You by Aria Bliss
I do enjoyed this authors writing and have been enjoying this series. This is the third book in the series and Mary Beth and Joseph journey. It is a second chance romance which I love. I don’t know about you but I enjoy a second chance romance a lot more I love the history between the characters and these two definitely had history. Mary Beth and Joseph married young and to his surprise she left him to keep that little nugget of information to himself. They both have lived there away from the other that is until she shows up again 10 yrs later. Now she wants a divorce and he wants answers and a second chance but can they make things work or should they keep living their lives separate from the other. I loved these two their love was sweet. I loved reading how they get to rediscover each other and how it all works out in the end. Definitely a book I would recommend.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review. Second chance romance full of heart, emotion, love and forgiveness.
Absolutely loved Joseph (Joe), he's such a sweet guy and his love and support of Mary Beth (MB) was steady and unchanging. On the other hand MB was still immature and selfish, willing to walk away to make things easier but was actually just running away from any problem she encountered. With Joe's support and love, she slowly comes to realise she needs to stop running and to confront the issue and fight for their love and HEA. The ending and epilogue was just perfect!
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this wonderful story. Pulled in from page 1 and my emotions went through a roller coaster journey with the couple until the end!

Thank you to Author Aria Bliss and BookSirens for providing me with an ARC for not only this book, but the first 5 in the Watercress Falls series. All opinions shared are my own.
This was easily my favourite book in the series so far! I thought the concept that Joseph Langdon and his long lost wife Mary-Beth Strong were forced into a 2 week marriage counselling retreat by their mamas was great! All the tension, chance for quality communication and the incredible 🔥🔥 scenes meant I couldn't put this book down!
I love small town, second chance romances and this definitely fit the bill. Joseph is the third of his four siblings to find love in the series and it was fun to see how the past MCs were doing and to connect with all the characters from the main families in town. I think the Author has done a brilliant job at creating a vibrant community of characters who could easily be called on to be the MCs of future books. I'm already invested in their lives and would definitely continue reading!

Wanting You is Book 3 of the Watercress Falls series by Aria Bliss. Honestly I did not like Mary Beth and how she acted over the 10 years since she and Joe got married and she left him. As the story went on I saw her anxiety attacks and felt bad for her. However, I did not see her as a strong, independent woman. I saw her more as a selfish, unthinking, immature little princess. Even after she grew up and returned home she tended to run from any unpleasantness but Joe made up for it. He was a strong, kind, caring, loving man who would do anything for the woman he loved. They went to counseling and realized they still loved each other. They got their HEA. This is the one story in this series I don't really care for.

Mary Beth is back in Watercress Falls. Joseph and Mary Beth get secretly married and two days later Mary Beth leaves and they don’t talk for ten years. Can we keep it quiet until after the divorce? Apparat not as he just announced to my whole family and his mom that I’m his wife. As you can expect my family freaks out. Now both our moms have sent us to a couples counseling resort for two weeks. Can we survive the two weeks then go home and finish the divorce? Do I even want a divorce? Joseph used to be my best friend and we are good together. Can he forgive me for leaving him for ten years? Can I forgive myself? So many questions. All will be answered in this well written story of love and forgiveness. Another Watercress Falls success! This is such an amazing read.
Joe and Mary Beth are high school sweethearts that get married right after school, but she leaves two days later.
Coming back 10 years later, even though she is still married to him, it's time to make a decision.
It is so heartwarming watching these two growing back together and finding the love they didn't know they still have, and had never lost, even with the distance between them.
This story takes us on a ride that has us laughing, crying, getting angry, but always rooting for these two young people that knew love from such a young age, had it right the first time but made a mistake along the way.
I recommend this book :)
