“Death only takes those who lie to rest. I’m not ready to lie down yet.”

Xander lived by a simple motto: fuck up whatever has the power to fuck you up first.

Her thirst for vengeance silently spoke to him, touched him in ways no human ever had before her. Like two evils seeking each other in darkness.

“Why kidnapping?”
“My parents never allowed me pets as a child.” He smirked.
“Why pole fucking?” Karinna damn near shot daggers from her eyeballs.
“Because, when I ride a pole, every motherfucker up in the club wishes he could be that cold steel rod sliding between my thighs.” She smiled all smug and proud of herself . “That’s power. Real power.”
“And so here you are , strapped to my bed.” He crossed his arms over his chest and that sly grin widened. “I guess that’d make me the most powerful motherfucker up in the club.”

“You have no idea what you do to me,” he said against her lips. “The need to hurt you and pleasure you. Don’t know which I want more.”

This woman has suffered since the day she was brought into this world.” Hasziel cupped her cheek and smoothed his thumb over her skin. “It is the only place in which she finds comfort."
Nothing more stony and unapologetic than a bitter angel forced to leave the heavens—even demons avoided the Fallen. Humans, on the other hand, couldn’t avoid them if they tried. Every day, kids and females got snatched up from the streets like smelt in a shallow pond, drugged and used at the amusement of their sadistic captors.
