This book was excellent I purchased this for my INFT 101 class. I thought it was an absorbing book and liked doing the assignments that were in the book.
This book is a great tool in the process of familiarizing yourself with online school at Liberty University. The introduction and first few chapters make you excited about the rich heritage of the school and its foundation in the Christian faith. The book also does a good job with teaching you skills that are pertinent to time management and academic writing- skills that prove to be invaluable to the workforce student. Overall I gave this textbook a three out of five stars. The content and the presentation is good but a little boring. It could improve with having fewer distractions in the margins and no "reflections." As an adult I know who I am and what direction I want take in life. The only real thing I learned about myself in this course is my unique learning style.
My friend (who is doing college online) gave me this book and said, "even if you are not going to school online, this book has a lot of information to help you in school." Turns out, she was right. Aside the fact that this book was written for her school and it had online aspects, there was still a lot of helpful facts in here. I wouldn't get this book personally but if someone does offer you a college book because they are done with it, take it! It can still be helpful.
