this was good, it just felt a little bit jumbled in places. I wasn’t entirely sure the whole time who the bad guy was, and not in a good way.
At first she was a patient, then it was an ex-girlfriend, and then suddenly it was the brother’s ex-girlfriend and we didn’t even know about a brother until then.

I was excited to start this new series by a new to me author. It was filled with suspense and plenty of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. I do feel that the characters could have used more fleshing out but maybe this happens in subsequent novels. Nice beginning.
