Nicely written, mature story dealing with a husband's confession of an affair. I connected with Sabrina and the evolution of her feelings and decisions while dealing with the devastation of Sean's affair with a co-worker. While in Sabrina's POV, we do get some reveal of Sean's thoughts and feelings through interaction with Sabrina and his actions.

I made 2 highlights available - I felt them.

Recommends it for: Only people who can handle cheating stories.
Great cheating story, with some decent angst. I loved Sabrina. She was a total spitfire and didn't take any shit. I almost wondered if she'd kick Sean to the curb for good. I wouldn't have minded a little more grovel from Sean in the ending though. That being said, I enjoyed this entire story.

Trust. Once it's broken it's hard to put back together. How do you get past your spouse cheating on you? How can the relationship go back to what it was? Are you ever able to forgive? Are you ever able to trust again? Can you honestly let go of the hurt, resentment and love?

This story deals with all that I mentioned above. It's told thru the woman's POV and you can feel the emotions she goes thru when her husband drops the bombshell. There's other things that occur in the story but I focused on

Bounce by K.M. Jackson was one of those books that completely took me by surprise. I wasn’t sure what I expected out of the story, the plot summary pretty much sums it up but I will tell you what I was not expecting. Its heart wrenching and inspirational and this story touched me on so many personal levels that it left me dumfounded. It is a genuine real-life portrayal I think every woman should read and Sabrina Jacobs

I read this book in a day...which means it was good!!! I bought this book a couple of weeks ago, after someone suggested it on FB. Had never heard of the author, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I kept putting off reading it, and then yesterday, I decided to take the plunge. Such a good story! I really liked Bree; I especially liked that she was nothing like what I would expect a former pro ball player's wife to be like. And I liked that she wasn't a perfect wife and mother: she worked too much, ...more

Review of Bounce by K.M. Jackson 3.5 stars

I just finished reading Bounce and now I feel better ,the story is about a career woman named Sabrina trying to balance her life being superwoman . I felt she wanted to be great at everything
great at her job, great mother , great wife and when you work that hard at everything somethings suffer. But its not all of her fault, while Sabrina is running in circles trying to be the best at everything ,she learns her husband Sean has cheated on her with his

A great story -BRAB Online Book Club

This is my first read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The author did an excellent job of building the story of the two main characters and even some of the secondary characters, so much that I felt every emotion the writer intended.

When Sean cheated on Sabrina with a coworker, she had a difficult time getting past the hurt and pain. Sean knew he made a big mistake and did everything to let her know how sorry he was. Their journey took them through

Whew! I really, really loved this book. It was so emotional, so realistic that I felt myself going through the ups and downs at the same time as Sabrina. I don't want to give anything away, but I was very glad that Sabrina was able to find her happiness. And that sister of hers was something else. And the little stepford wife ladies in the community, ummmm *eyeroll* hated ALL of them. ALL of them. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this read. It was nice and substantial, flowed well, good ...more

Well, either the blurb changed since I bought this or I paid no attention to what I was buying (hint: it's probably me).

This isn't a typical Romance - I'd day it's not really a Romance at all. It's the story of the aftermath of marital infidelity and the attempt to rebuild that relationship.

From the other reviews I've read since I started reading, those who love angst should read this. Me? This isn't my thing at all. I'm really more into the discovery and not the drama.

Sometimes life is all about being able to roll with the punches and bounce back from setbacks. Sabrina Jacobs is about to learn how to bounce and roll and discover that sometimes the dreams you have for yourself aren't really what you want. Bounce is a marvelous and romantic novel but with so much depth: Humor, terrific and diverse secondary characters, an intimate insight into a young family and the trials and tribulations that can visit even the most perfect of couples. When Bree's marriage ...more

I have to start by saying that I am not a fan of fiction written in the first-person narrative, as it tends to give a very one-sided story. With that in mind, I hesitated to buy this book, but after reading the description and downloading a sample, I was intrigued. Now I can say for certain that this story needed to be told from the heroine's point of view.

This is the classic tale of a seemingly solid marriage being tested and torn apart by an infidelity, but after delving into it you realize

I had the opportunity to meet this author at Romance Slam Jam 2014 and as member of her group on FB, knew of the book but wasn't ready to dive into the book just yet being my first read from her. After talking to her, she had me hooked and I read the book on my travel home.

This is a real story with real life issues with the main focus on trust in a relationship, what happens once its broken, how do you get pass a spouse cheating, do you forgive, throw in the towel and never trust again, and will

I laughed – I cried – I loved it!

Sabrina Jacobs is Everywoman -- well, every woman I know who is married with children. I connected so immediately with Sabrina that sometimes I wondered if Jackson had peeked into my own head.

Although Bounce is set in a very upscale suburb of New York City, any woman of any ethnic or social background can identify with her: The nagging sense that even though you are doing all the ‘right’ things, things somehow just aren’t…right; Recognizing absurdity of many of

Jackson's slick novel reads fast and does a great job creating the privileged world of a high powered financial advisor living in a prestigious suburb with her two adorable children and handsome, sports anchor husband. The complex emotions and reactions that Sabrina Jacobs has upon learning of her husband's affair do a service to the importance of the relationship and family at the center of her heart. "Bounce" is a story of Sabrina's journey toward self-knowledge, which ultimately enriches not ...more

I read this book in one gulp, unable to put it down to even attend to basic needs. This was, in short, utterly addicting. I did not want it to end.

Although I've never experienced anything like the characters in this book did, the author had a way of making a worst case scenario feel like something anyone could experience. Everything Sabrina felt, the anger she carried around with her, it was all so relatable, it felt like walking in someone else's shoes. The subject matter is heavy, and at times

I keep telling my friends about this book. I wouldn't call it romance. I think it's more in the women's fiction category. Whichever, I found it to be well written and realistic. The heartache, the emotions, the love-it all pulled me in. For a moment I wanted Sabrina to get over her husband's cheating. Then I realized, heartbreak doesn't just disappear. And when you've been betrayed, working through that is serious business. Ms. Jackson brought Sabrina to life. And while her husband was flawed, ...more

***This is another biased review. But biased only because I know the author and consider her a good friend.***

Bounce is a wonderful story about a marriage on the rocks. While this is a traditional romance topic - Jackson takes a unique route using middle aged characters with long a long developed relationship, children, etc.

This isn't your typical romance and skates so close to reality - it hits home emotionally -- at least it did for me.

This is a great romantic read that you don't want to

I loved Bounce, from start to finish I couldn't put it down. I shared tears and anger with Sabrina over Sean. Changed my mind over and over again how I hoped it would the end I cried tears of happiness. I highly recommend this book it's characters are easy to envision, easy love or hate. It made me wonder what would I do if I was suddenly Sabrina. Another hit by K.M. Jackson ....can't wait for the next book!

Wow .. This was a well written story. As I'm reading the story I can feel all of her emotions. It's crazy what she went through. All the feelings that the situation caused her to have was something else. Although it's a story meant to entertain I can't help but wonder is this how women who have gone through this feel in real life? I'd recommend this book.

Overflow of emotion

After I started this book at 3 a.m. I thought, "this is going to be just another romance!" It was that and so much more. There were a few editing issues that I caught, hence the star, but boy this was the big bounce.

Bree and Sean have been married 10 years and have two beautiful kids. Mackenzie is bubbly in all her innocence and Zach is stubborn and so loving. The surbuban life is great, but what do you do when everything you know is tested? Sometimes you have to fall

Not a bad book, but can't really embrace the story as we have no details. To really get a feel of a book about infidelity and decide if the hero deserves forgiveness, you need details! We get none, how did the affair start? How long did it last? Why did it end? How deep was it? Etc

Didn't really work for me. Too many grammatical issues, for sure; a strange lack of contractions in dialogue (not a total absence, but enough of a shortage to make the voices sound stilted to my ear); and definitely some pacing issues (the middle really dragged, and then the end just zipped past). (It looks like River Hills Press is just a name for this author to self-publish her work, and that actually makes me feel better about the whole situation - this FELT self-pubbed, so it's kind of ...more

I'm dumbfounded by the good reviews of this book. I kept telling myself it would get better, but it didn't.

For starters: the writing. Ignoring all the grammatical and spelling errors (which are horrendous to find in a published book, especially in such abundance -- shame on you, River Hills Press), I could not get passed Ms. Jackson's linguistic choices. I have a hard time believing a high-power financial adviser wonders if the other mothers' children ever "act a fool" trying to get out of the

A native New Yorker, K.M. Jackson had two dreams for what she wanted to be when she “grew up”: 1. a fashion designer and 2. a writer.

After graduating from high school, she pursued her first dream and studied fashion design at New York’s FIT. She then spent ten years designing for various New York houses. But after years of jugging the oh-so-glam world of mid-market fashion along with being a
