Krinos

This is bad... but fun... a lot! And you get sucked in and completely hooked! And you are aware of how many eyerolls you give and how it's absurd, but you just can't stop! Everything is over the top, everything is instant, everything is just completely bad LOL, but you just need to finish and while reading you start to really like the book you basically don't like because it's simply ridiculous.

I thought the synopsis for this book looked fantastic and saw tons of great reviews on it - but for me, this book did not live up to its potential. I found the writing style to be choppy, but I could've overlooked that. What I could not overlook were the unbelievable actions and tons of inconsistencies in the characters.
How does a mega-wealthy drug lord allow the daughter and woman he still loves, although doesn't live with, to live in what is referred to as a rough area - why would he not make sure they were taken care of?
As the purported successor to her father's empire, how would Krinos be respected after her one-night stand takes retribution for her after she's brutalized? Not to mention her having so little self-control as to beg a police detective to have sex with her.
And after being kidnapped and brutalized, does it make sense that she'd go off and get wasted at a club? And that at that club Krinos would run into that police detective who's out with his sisters and that one of his sisters would give Krinos drugs? Or what about the fact that Krinos would take those drugs even though she's already told us that she doesn't do drugs?
Seriously, that only touches the surface of things I thought were unbelievable and inconsistent with this story - total shame, too - because the storyline had a lot of potential.

This freebie was a great fast paced erotic dark read. Loved the fierceness of the heroine, she can kick some serious ass! I am hooked and can't wait to read the next book in the series. Yeah to the author as there were not many typos, which drive me batshit cray cray.

Spoiler Ahead
This was a good read it's a new series to me it's a dark erotic romance. Eliza is learning the family business drugs, sex and death her father is a drug lord and they call her Krinos she hopes to take over one day but not everyone wants a girl in charge. I really liked Krinos she was a kick ass female. She meets her father's second in command Stefanos is a alpha male Greek God when they meet Krinos is in lust at first sight she's not daft to pass up getting hot and heavy with this Greek God, but on her own terms. Which Stefanos is not happy about this leads to some hot reading. The sex scenes are hot and I loved reading about it. Over time Stefanos proves he is the perfect match for her and although he wants to protect her she doesn't need it she is as ruthless as her father and him. This was my first time reading this author's work this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I don't know how to put my feelings about this book into words really...
It isn't my type of book at all...or so I thought, had I read the blurb I wouldn't have picked it up BUT I'm a cover addict and TL Smith created some seriously hot teasers and I was suckered in. And thank Krinos I was. Because this was a gritty, amazing fast paced book that had my head spinning.
Krinos alone deserves the stars because she is one kick-ass character, kill bill needs to be warned because there isa. New Boss in town. Some of the scenes had me squirming and not in a good way, they were a little raw, but necessary.
The author fave me an ARC in exchange for a review but I'm totally out of my depth to put into words how good it is. When i finished it I had no idea how to rate it because it was so far out of my comfort zone, but the way it grips you and takes you under is fantastic. Definitely wanting the next book.

Five fricking huge ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'s for this fanfreakingtastic read....I devoured this book in hours...yes hours it was just that good!!!
T.L.Smith writes a book that's going to have you hooked from beginning to end....she's given us Krinos - feisty, hard as nails, grabs life by the balls and goes after what she wants, she is by no means a whinging female, she means business!!
Then she gives us Stefanos - hot as hell, sexy as shit, alpha, possessive and thrown through a loop by Krinos and the fact she's no simpering fall at his feet female!!!

3.7 Bloody stars!
A quick read but indeed captivating!
Krikos is the daughter of a drug lord and is to inherit the family's business. She has learned to be feared and revered but again she has never met someone like Stefanos He's as cold and ruthless and her and together they could burn cities to the ground.
I did not really undertand their connection and it was at times too quick but it still worked out in the end.
They were both strong characters and did not bow to each other easily. I liked them apart and i liked them together. The banters made me laugh out loud!
I liked it, it was bloody,passionate and sexy.

This was a high-octave fast-paced violent, sexy gangster story.
Krinos was a bad-assed bitch who felt she had to prove herself worthy of taking over her father's business. Despite being obviously attracted/affected by Stefanos, it didn't stop her punching him in the jaw and doing serious damage to his testicles on occasion! It's nice to read about a strong, powerful female character who also can succumb to her feelings, particularly in the bedroom.
Stefanos was the typical alpha man who went all out to protect his woman. I don't think he will ever be totally top dog with Krinos, as she does see herself as an equal and doesn't just drop to her knees or come on command!
The fire between these two was scorching hot and coupled with the speed in which the story moved on through the pages, this book didn't allow me to draw breath.
For a shortish book, the author packed a lot in. I felt it was written in a very similar style to Martina Cole's East End gangland books and that is a compliment.
Great sexy cover, great editing and great action packed story, definitely needs to go on your TBR list...and near the top!
Looking forward to book two to see how the revenge pans out.

This book is making me consider switching to the other side ;) seriously it was that hot! I loved Krinos. This is not they type of book I read I usually love a leading hot Alpha Male.
Krinos is feisty young beautiful and getting ready to take over her dad's empire, she has to be tuff to succeed, and boy is she! She calls the shots not afraid to get her hands dirty. Absolutely loved it!
Stefanos Mmm I loved him my only wish is that he was more Assertive. He's hot her dads 2nd in command and when they meet sparks fly, she wants one night he wants forever... He's just as hard and drool worth as she is. I did fall in love with him he did get his say when it came to Krinos she was his end of story so I loved him for that.
It was full off a adventure crazy hot action fights love above all else it kept me entertained.
I was disappointed to read the last page, and if will patiently waiting for the next book!

Wow...that was a fun couple of hours...totally surprised me and when I get to read a book for free and it's that exciting and fast paced...all the better =)
I love a strong heroine...especially when she's powerful, skilled with weapons and doesn't take crap from anyone...especially alpha males who think they rule the world. Being the daughter of a very important player is a plus and when she meets her match with one of her father's co-horts...it's nothing short of sexy, violent fireworks. I am the second in command of my father’s drug organization and you do not want to cross me. My mother had raised me away from my father and his organization in the town of Blacktown a city in Australia. I have always idolized my father and so when he finally told me what he did I stepped up for him to train me in the family business. You may think that this is not a business for a woman but then you would not know the real me, I am like my father, made for this life.
My father has another second, a man that runs his East Coast operations. I will be meeting with him, Stefanos, today for the first time even though my father has been training me for over two years to assume his position. But nothing has prepared me for the “Greek God” that walks out of his office towards me. Stefanos and I will be working on a problem that my father wants solved. I can’t believe it when he tells me that he doesn’t think a little girl like me will be much help and he can handle it alone.
Needless to say I am not what he is expecting. On our way to the meeting with the problem my father wants us to sort out, we are made into a car sandwich and guns are blazing. Stefanos takes care of the occupants of the two vehicles, a clean shot between the eyes. He really impresses me with the way he handles things. When we arrive at the meeting, he introduces me to the problem as Eliza and not by Krinos. When we start discussing business, Alex the idiot thinks to intimidate me and that’s when I let him know why he needs to cooperate.
I get what my father wants and when I speak with my father he is happy with the job I’ve done. The idiot, Alex has let my father know that he is impressed with me and happy to work with me. Before I can get off the phone with my father I hear someone banging on my door, it is Stefanos. He has decided that he wants more from me than I am willing to give at this time but he tells me that I will give him everything.
I leave after the most amazing night of sex and head home without saying goodbye to Stefanos. I ignore all of his calls and text, but know that I will have to face him again and soon. Will I be strong enough to step into my father’s place? What will happen between me and Stefanos?

4 +++ Stars!!!
5 Flames for HOTness!
This was a fabulous beginning to a series. I was sucked in at page one. Eliza “Krinos” is a sassy and bad chick. (I love a good strong female lead and Krinos is it) But most of all she is the ultimate daddy’s girl. Krinos loves her dad and is in the process of taking over as boss of his drug dealing business. She is sent to the east coast to do business and meets her match Stefanos. Stefanos is sexy and powerful. He has a dark demon living inside of him. He is cold and shots and asks questions later. Stefanos and Krinos waste not time getting down to business and ALL of the action begins to unfold. Their chemistry is off the charts. Stefanos quickly decides that Krinos belongs to him.
This story is very quick paced. I felt at one point I needed more details (my reason for 4 stars instead of 5). I am not complaining by any means I hardly ever get to say I am left wanting more description. With that said, please be aware that this has a cliff hanger ending but all three books are now out so buy the other two so you can quickly get the complete fix. T.L. gives us suspense, mob violence, hot sex and the unfolding of a love story in the page-turner Krinos.
Krinos is tough but she really wants to be loved. It just takes her a while to figure things out. I was on the edge of my seat in some of the scenes in this book. Stefanos was a knight in shining armor. Stefanos loves hard and nothing will get in the way of what he wants.This book has several laugh-out loud moments as well as some very frightening ones. You want retribution right along with these characters.
I would recommend this book as it is a great start to an anticipated series. I will be check out the other books in the series, as well as, some of T.L. Smith’s other work.

Well with out giving to much away I was lucky and honored enough to read an Arc Of Krinos by TL Smith, And i Freaking loved This Story about
Eliza but everyone calls her Krinos and her journey.
Eliza is being taught to run the family business and when the sexy alpha Stefanos enters the picture there story is wicked hot and fun. Eliza is Bad Ass, I love her she has to be my new girl crush.. she has no fear and will cut a bitch who gets in her way!!

Eliza but everyone calls her Krinos and her journey.
Eliza is being taught to run the family business and when the sexy alpha Stefanos enters the picture there story is wicked hot and fun. Eliza is Bad Ass, I love her she has to be my new girl crush.. she has no fear and will cut a bitch who gets in her way!!

Well I'll be dammed I just read this in 3 hours... I just couldn't put it down, T.L. Smith has created a female character who can stand up to the alpha males and make them kneel at her feet!
The lead character is Krinos, a beautiful but tough Aussie who is a spitfire, she can hold her own, is confident in her sexuality, and not afraid to scratch that itch when she wants. She's everything you would expect a drug bosses daughter to be, and the business is being handed over to her, which leads us to where she meets her fathers second in command, Stefanos.
Stefanos is the Alpha of all Alpha male's, he is hot, sexy and used to getting what he wants when he wants... possessive of what he thinks is his... And he wants Krinos!
When they meet, Krinos is in lust at first sight, she's not daft to pass up getting hot and heavy with this Greek God, but on her own terms... Which Stefanos is not happy about, this leads to some awesomely hot reading... The sex is off the charts, hot heavy and hard.
Krinos doesn't want to submit and neither will Stefanos and he has a hard time dealing with the fact that she is her own boss, not to be owned or submit (YAY) at last a female who is an equal to these alpha characters. I also liked how she didn't weaken when times were at there worst, she is a fighter, and she will take on anyone who dares to think she is just a simpering woman.
The story is fast paced, the drug world do not think a woman should be a boss, and they stupidly think that she will lay down and take their insolence, I really enjoyed reading this Novella, and I look forward to reading how she will take hold of both the reins in business and how she decides what future Stefanos will have in her life.
T.K. Smith's writing style is fast paced, erotic and the chemistry between Krinos and Stefanos literally smokes.
I hope book 2 isn't too far away.

Then in walks Stephanos, the Greek God, who challenges Krinos in every way. “He walks over to me, and I take him in. He is in a clean-cut, black suit with the most panty-dropping features any man has had.” Stephanos knocks Krinos off her kilter, leading to trauma, drama, and love.
The idea of an alpha man, Stephanos, and a bossy-bitch, Krinos, and ensuing sexual tension, seems like a great premise. Unfortunately, I felt that this novel was too short, lacked character development, and went by in a much too hurried pace. It was difficult to picture the characters and their surroundings. More than a few times I had to reread to try to figure out what the heck was going on, and it was a short book!
I enjoyed the sexual tension, but the sex scenes were too short and lacked details. The one scene that I will remember involves this quote which I absolutely love!!
“It’s beautiful, it’s passionate. I don’t know what to call it; I’ve never had it with a man before. Though some would call it making love, I would call it consuming my soul."

So I am still going to check out other books by this author. Sex. Mob. Bad-Assness. This book completely went beyond what I had imagined when it came to such a short read. I didn’t expect to get caught up in all the drama, but I am now completely in love with T.L. Smith.
Krinos, who knew that name would actually belong to a girl? Not just any girl though. A true executor to the thrown of her father’s empire. She’s not dumb and she doesn’t take anyone’s shit. Just because she’s a female doesn’t mean she won’t shoot you. Men that don’t expect such a beautiful woman to be a cold blooded killer, but they are proven wrong again and again. I felt for her character though. She knew the life she would eventually lead, but the steps at the end of the book that bring her to it are so messed up. All is not lost though…..at least not when you have a sexy ass man by your side.
Stefanos, good god almighty, the way he moves, his pursuit and the ultimate nakedness, just melts you. THEN!!!! He pulls a douche move. You can belong to him, but he can f*** around? Negative, but I didn’t find myself so upset about it though. Why? Because Krinos doesn’t make herself available to him, so what’s he to do? LOL…you gotta read and see but I found him really charming, and totally alpha when he puts his foot down. And Krinos’ father obviously feels the same.
This story is about finding your way in the most unconventional job you can give to a woman, but having family and a love that always has your back….and last but not least, ends on revenge. I cannot wait to see where Krinos and Stefanos end up.

Wow I just finished reading this book, and I love it, I felt in love with it from the first page to the last, I couldn't put the book, this was way to different from what I read, I love characters and love how the book turned out to be. I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.
Krino is a young woman, who is following her father's foot steps, she is heading to NYC for a meeting, but what she was not expecting was to meet the sexy hunk of Stefano, after meeting him she when back to the hotel, that's when Stefano show up and tell her about the other meeting, on the way to the meeting they get into trouble, after taking care of that they get to their destination, after Krino gets her point across not to mess with her business and her father, she goes back to the hotel, that night Stefano show up and things get hot, would she fall for him or will she show him that she's not that easy.
I love Krino character, she's has the bad girl attitude, she takes what she wants, And do what she wants, she fights and kill if she have to, she stab man if they don't keep their heands to themselves, and she just went through a rough time.
I really love and enjoy reading this book, now I can't wait to read the next book, Author T.L. Smith THANK YOU FOR INTRODUCING ME TO THIS AMAZING CHARACTERS AND THIS AWESOME BOOK LOVE IT.

I love a really strong heroine. I have to admit, Krinos grated my nerves a bit. Im not sure what it was about her, but I had a love/hate relationship with her. I think my biggest block with her, was that I love a strong heroine, one that takes names and blazes trails, but has the ability to let the alpha male be the alpha male.
I loved the story. Iam a mafia loving girl. And add in a strong alpha female to rule the roost?? Yes please. And Krinos was just that. She was fearless, and went after what she wanted. She refused to bow down because she was a woman, and knew how to use her "assets" to her advantage. Lesson?? Never underestimate a pretty face with a smoking hot body, wearing a killer set of heels. Because the knife she hides in her garter, will get you every time.
Stephanos was her perfect match. He didnt take her mess and was not afraid of her father. He wasnt power hungry and looking to take over. And he was a greek God who knew his way around the bedroom. What more could a girl ask??? He was delicious!!!
Although Krinos is not a cliffhanger, it leaves you wanting more. Im ready to see where the author leads us.

Interesting story and a nice quick read...
Krinos is an interesting story which follows Eliza or as most people know her Krinos who's being prepared by her father to take over the family drug business. She's a feisty alpha female if there is such a thing and she's prepared to do whatever it takes. She meets hot as hell Stefanos, who for the most part rocks her world. Stefanos also becomes very smitten, very quickly with the bad ass Krinos. Krinos is her father's daughter and she has no qualms about the fact that she will become boss of the "business”.
This story contains violence, drugs and sex. It is an interesting story and is a nice quick read. It’s only Book One of the Take Over Series by T.L. Smith but does not end on a cliff hanger although there is more to come I am sure. I read this book pretty much in one sitting and found it a good read. Overall it’s well constructed and I enjoyed this book and gave it five stars.

Krinos , Eliza , is raw and gritty , she is rude , speaks her mind and is one tough chick. A force to be reckon with on the verge of taking over her father's empire. This story is about her journey with Stefanos and how they make names for themselves in their crazy world of drugs , guns , sex and violence. Some business associates are not too keen on a woman taking control but no worries here , Krinos is able to put an end to those concerns by either easing their minds or ending their lives. A strong bond is forming between her and Stefanos and it is super hot to read about and I definitely look forward to more about them. Stefanos is a super hot alpha male but Krinos has him on his knees more than once !! Finally a chick who can be in charge and get what is hers. Great quick read full of action and suspense.

Krinos can spit fire, well close enough and anyone stupid enough to mess with her is gonna end up with a black eye, a knife would, or worse. Stefanos is the Greek God he is, is persistant taking what he wants from her even when Krinos drop kicks him into oblivion. Their explosive together in and out of the bedroom. Krinos will one day take over for her father she's as hard core as they come. Stefanos may just be the guy for her, not because he's power hungry, but because he wants her and will do anything to have her.
Krinos is a kick ass take no prisoners type of girl, in short she's awsome and my kind of heroine. Stefanos is as sexy as he is persistant and I loved watching as he tried to lay claim to Krinos and how she "dealt" with his advances. The two together are a power duo doing whatever it takes for their business and their family.

This is a short, fully loaded, intense, first instalment in the take-over series.
Krinos is learning the tricks of the trade to one day take over her father’s business…. This is no ordinary business, it deals with drugs, sex and death and to survive in it you need to be one tough cookie……
Stefanos is her father’s right hand man and is a Greek god…. When they meet sparks fly……
Krinos fights against Stefanos claims she is his because no one controls her…. She is the boss….
As Krinos sets to take over a war is brewing to break, simply because she is a women in a man’s world.
This book is a quick intense enjoyable read… there is action, drama, love and hot hot sex… I would recommend this to those who enjoy a dark action packed romance…… I was gripped and left wanting more… I’m excited about the next instalment.

This book is a quick intense enjoyable read… there is action, drama, love and hot hot sex… I would recommend this to those who enjoy a dark action packed romance…… I was gripped and left wanting more… I’m excited about the next instalment.

I only have one word for this book and that is kickass! I loved it! It was raw, sexy, adventurous, fun and awesome all in one.
I loved the heroine Eliza aka Krinos with her bad ass attitude. She is fierce in everything she does and she does what has to be done no matter what. She values family and does everything for them.
When Krinos meets her dads second in command Stefanos attraction instantly hits and oh my it was steamy! I loved Stefanos! He is straight forward and goes for what he wants. And he wants Krinos. It doesn´t suck that he´s a hottie aswell lol.
In the book we get to follow Krinos as she tries to prepare for taking over the family business and there is a lot of action. Usually the books I read there are Kickass heroes so it was soo refreshing to read about Krinos and her awesomeness!
This book I can really recommend for those of you who needs something refreshing =)

What can I say about this book. I didn't know what to expect from it as it's not the usual type of book that I read. But from the first few pages, I was hooked. It was a quick, easy read for me and I had to keep reading to see what happens. The interactions between Eliza/Krinos and Stefanos made me laugh in some spots and I love the way they argued with each other. The perfect couple, no. But perfect for each other, yes.
I just have one complaint. The ending. I want to know what happens next. I hate cliff hangers, and this book leaves you with one. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
