Mount View Treaty #1

Claimed by Her Panthers

Rate this book
Stephan Black and Owen Slick have known Angelica Deven since the day she was born. Caring for their best friend’s younger sister came naturally to the two panther shifters. However the last thing the men expect to discover on Angelica’s twenty-first birthday is that she is their mate. The only thing more shocking to Angelica than Stephan and Owen admitting they want her, is her own reaction to the men as they stake their claim.

Thrust in to a world of supernatural, where things she believed to be fairly tales are real, Angelica must learn to cope and learn what it means to be mated to shifters. Will Stephan and Owen’s need to protect their mate from everything cost them the one thing they have always wanted? Or will Angelica realize that nothing will ever compare to being claimed by her panthers?

I’m a mother of four.
I started writing down my story ideas in high school, and never really stopped. Writing, I have to say, is my salvation. After I've gotten all the kids in bed and have cleaned up, I sit at my computer or sometimes a notebook with a pencil, and relax, write, and escape.

Ok so it was a really good book, I loved the concept and the characters. Stephan & Owen were alpha males who were very protective of Angelica her whole life and were best friends with her brother. They new she was 'special' to them but didn't really think anything of it until they realised she was their mate. Angelica, a strong, fiesty female whose been in a close platonic relationship with her brothers friends as she had grown up with them. When one day everything changes and they tell her about themselves and who she is too them. She freaks but accepts it. Then her friend turns up and finds news she doesn't accept. The two girls decide they need a holiday and go off together. Angelica finds out some startling news and whilst on the phone to her mate he realises they are in trouble and the men gather to go and find them. There was lots of humor, happy & sad moments. I loved the secondary characters they were halariously funny. But there were negatives: I found the grammar was really poor in places, names were mixed up, the beginning felt really rushed, wasn't enough information in certain areas and I found the way she accepted them carting her off from the club, taking her to their house and sleeping with her when they tell her she's their mate was way too easy. Seemed unreal. The beginning, although I liked the idea it felt really rushed but I loved the second half much better. So I will definately want to read book 2 because of the characters I think it's going to be really funny!

Thanks Jess Buffett for sending me the book I Loved reading it. I did have to tell Stephan to share at the starting but i do think it turned out well. I do love how Stephan and Owen helped Joel protect Angelica since she was born though they did keep that she was their mate and what they were for her till they knew that she was their mates i believe it all turned out well in the end and i can't wait for part two. I do hope in the one that Draken Respects Jenika more and watches what he says though i do think it was funny when he gets his ass handed to him, I still thinking about what could happen it Janika, Draken and Raziel's book hope to hear more about Stephan, Owen , Angelica and the Triplets. I also hope that Joel gets a book to he does desrve one for all he's done for angelica he, Stephan and Owen raised Angelica to be go and independent person. I want to thank Jess and Hazel for writing such a good book and i hope they team up more often because everyone in this book has an interesting stroy just waiting to be told.
p.s. I could not put my cell phone down for very long without picking it back up and finshing the book i loved it so much.

I enjoyed this book. It was different from what I usually read but I liked it. It brought together all things Paranormal. Angelica has grown up with her brother and his two best friends watching over her. When she turns twenty-one, Stephan and Owen realize that she is their mate. Now, how do they tell her what they are and who she is to them?

I have read all of Hazel Gower's Bear books and I loved them, I also read her Peacekeeper book which was good as well, but this book left a bitter taste in my mouth.I did not like Jenika at all and I absolutely hate when the women are so stupid. Angelica was too silly for me. I appreciate her initial anger when she found out that her mates were shifters and that basically her entire family knew execpt for her. The explanation given was valid and appropriate. What got me was even though the guys were slowly explaining things to her they did warn her of the others out there that were dangerous.

So when she and her friend Jenika just disappear and go straight to where they told her not to go, I did not want her mates to save her. She kept having these silly tantrums throughout the book, but as soon as she's in trouble she knows her men will save her. Why put yourslef in the situation in the first place. I hate when the women in books are spiteful toward their friends and lead them to do stupid and dangerous things. Jenika was sooo not likeable and I can see that a story was being set up for her but I will not be getting the next book.

Surprisingly it was a good read. St first Angelica struck me as an immature brat but as time went on well, not time but the story. As long the story went on, she sort of comes into her own. I also liked the two jaguar shifters. They are different from shifters from what I've read. Meaning that the breed of shifters are usually white or of Latin spanish descent not black. I especially loved Jenika. She is trouble with a capital T. She is feisty and sassy and brassy. I loved her take no shit attitude. And Draken oh my GOD. The hot vampire. And what about that Razael. That dark lion shifter. I am looking forward to their story.

Passion and thrills abound in this mesmerizing paranormal romance. The authors have created a fascinating world with some intriguing elements and concepts and the characters captivate the reader drawing them further into the story. While I found this story to be a little too short to do it justice, I found the story to be enjoyable and entertaining and I am looking forward to reading the next one.

Read books by this author before and found this one a pretty good paranormal read. Storyline was fast-paced, entertaining and hot. Characters had chemistry and a connection.
