Damn it....another book finished........yay for finishing it but nooooooooo! it's over......I loved this. It was something new for me. These characters....night humans....I thought it was just vampires but as you read on you realize that night human includes vampires, lycan, fae, or a type of fae, I am not sure of the word they use here....and what I can only call succubus, or I guess more correctly Incubus... And Devin was one bad ass human. Bonds....that's been a reoccurring event but the way ...more

The cover is beautiful and looks magical :) I love it!!!

This is the first book of The Day Human trilogy, and it picks up where The Blue Eyes Trilogy left off with Devin. I love that I didn’t have to lose the world created by BK when The Blue Eyes Trilogy concluded because it really is a wonderful and unique world which I wouldn’t want to lose :)

When I started reading this adventure, I did not like how

Day human, Devin Alexander, is magically bound to night human, Vanessa McKinny. In order to break the bond that was put into place to save Devin’s life, they need to travel to the Sidhe village, where day humans are not welcome.
I loved this story. It felt refreshing and original. I happily lost sleep by staying up late to read this book.

The Day Human Prince is an awesome spin-off series to the Blue Eyes trilogy. Getting the story from Devin and Nessa's point of view is a great change from Ariannas. I also loved the addition of the fae. If you've read the original trilogy you'd know the world is inhabited by different nighthumans, nearly all of them are sub-classes of vampire, including the fae. Devin is a human living in this world, where usually he's nothing but food, fortunately for him though he's a lot tougher than he looks ...more

The Day Human Prince trilogy is a spin-off to The Blue Eyes trilogy. This time, the story focuses on two of the loved characters in the series: Nessa and Devin. If you want to learn more of the story before The Day Human Prince, I highly suggest that you read first former. It contains some elements that makes the second series clearer.

Ms. McMichael is one of my favorite authors that can truly weave words and create worlds and creatures magnificentl

I made it no secret when I was reading The Legend of the Blue Eyes trilogy that I was faithfully Team Devin. I was so heartbroken when Arianna chose Andrew that I almost didn't want to read the last book. While I eventually came around to loving Andrew as well, I still hoped and prayed that Devin would finally get the greatness he deserved.

This book far surpassed what I was hoping for for Devin. It was super interesting

I loved this book. I read it in one day, I couldn't put it down. The story of Devin and Nessa is astonishing and captivating. Devin and Nessa are bound to each other and all they want to do is break that bond but that's easier said then done. Sidhe illusion and trickery are in front of them every step of the way and their lives are in peril from the onset of their trip back to Nessa's village. It seems that everyone w

Bk - you have done it again. I am in awe of your talent and imagination.
This book follows on from the Blue Eyes Trilogy and is Devin and Nessa's story.
Once again I found my self falling into the night human world and not wanting to leave it. This time it is the sidhe night humans who all live under a veil of magic, hiding not only from the outside world but from each other. From invisible assassins to all powerful kings this story was everything I have cone to love from Bk's night humans. I ab

When I saw there was going to be a Devin spinoff I was more than excited to read it. Then I started it and could not put it down! I bought this book as soon as it came out and finished it right away! The storyline was fantastic and I fell in love with Devin even more. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out because I need to know what happens! I would highly recommend this book because this series has everything I wish for in a series.

This was a pretty good read, I do remember reading the Blue Eyes trilogy but not much of the details but they weren't necessarily needed for this spin of book.

The main characters are Devin and Nessa; Devin a Day human as the title suggests in a world of paranormal 'night creatures' he remains strong continuing to be a Day Human. Although he does share an extremely strong blood bond with Nessa after she saved his life, binding him to her in the process. Nessa returns home to her race with Devin

Several years ago, my husband convinced me to watch X-men: The Last Stand. I protested that I hadn’t seen the first two X-men movies and wouldn’t understand if I started with the third one, but he assured me I’d be able to follow along. I conceded, and we proceeded to watch the film. About half an hour in I still had no idea who the characters were or why they were doing what they were doing, and I kept
This dynamic young adult paranormal romance takes the cheesy ‘opposites attract’ concept up a few notches as it weaves to life a whimsical fantasy world that breaks the mold of the Sidhe and their interactions with humans. The Day Human Prince instantly engulfs readers with the promise of excitement, danger, and a story of two beings so desperate to escape each other that only an infinite love can ensue.

An all out war has been circumvented with the death of the Sidhe Prince. In its wake, the da

Nessa tied Devin's life to her own when she healed him while he was dying. Now, he is willing to do anything to break the bond with the girl he barely knows and get back to his life. But first, they must return to her Night Human Fey village to find her grandfather (who may or may not be dead) to break the bond while avoiding assassins at every turn and keeping Nessa out of jail for the crime of killing her brother, the King. B. Kristin McMichael never ceases to blow my mind. There is just so many amazing things that I can say about this author. Every one of her stories captures me, devours me, and then I refuse to let the story leave me. I have to say that this is one of my all-time favorite authors. I’m so mad at myself for waiting so long to read this story! I ADORED the Blue Eyes Trilogy. The imagination and raw talent in the purest form that B. Kristin McMichael brings to her novels is simply astonishing. I do h ...more

I might have liked The Day Human Prince better if I realized it was a spinnoff of another series and had read said series. It would have been nice to know so I could have read that series first before reading this one. Yeah, this might be were the biggest disappointment lies. Everything was just 'meh' and it could have been better if I read the original series first. No wonder a lot of the characters seemed to not have much of a background, I me
The Day Human Prince is a unique twist on a somewhat vampire like creature called Night Humans, a "sidhe" being, and day humans, which the best I can tell is everyday humans. Devin Alexander, day human and Vanessa (Nessa), night human are heading back to Nessa's home so they can hopefully break a blood bond Nessa created to save Devin's life.

This story reads kind of choppy with frequently repetitive statements, while some vital information seems to be omitted with your assumptions our only hope

The Day Human Prince is an urban fantasy featuring day humans who live in our normal world and night humans who drink day human blood to survive. I'm torn between 3.5 and 4 stars on this novel. There were so many things I liked-- the plot was interesting, and I enjoyed Devin and many of the secondary characters.

Nessa was a sidhe warrior, a night human, who bonded with Devin, a day human, to save his life. Unfortunately this was

Perfect spin-off to The Legend of the Blue Eyes series.

Begins right where the series left off following Devin's life. I love Devin and Nessa together!! They are perfect, this is such a great story! I am so glad the author decided to write this series!! Traveling into the world of the magical sidhe night human race, very similar to faeries, Devin and Nessa try to break the magical bond formed between them after she saves his life. Fighting off assassins all while figuring out who they can trust i

Ever wonder about Devin? Well this books picks up where the last Blue eyes book left off and gives us a chance to see Devin in action in Nessas world, this is the book for you. They start out trying to find a way to break the bond that olds them together, but by the end of it, we find out why Devin is so special. I really was rooting for them the whole time and am happy they ended up together. I cant wait for the next one!

McMichael spins a wonderful tale about a princess and the guy she's bound to be with. Her unusual marriage of Sidhe and vampire like characters create a whole world of nonstop action. The plot never drags and keeps readers turning the pages.

After a few chapters I realized this was a spin-off, so I downloaded the first book of the original series and it was terrible. The author's writing style is amateurish and she only tells, doesn't show. And what the heck is a reverse-harem?? All of these guys were in love with the MC for literally no reason. I read the reviews for the other two books in the series and it's the same thing. A whole lot of insta-love and whole lack of the MC doing anything. She just sleeps and lets her various m

Interesting opening novel in a trilogy of what others would call "downworlders". The action is good, the relationships interesting, but the story told from the point-of-view of a night-princess (vampire?) who is just a little too much of an emo.

The book came recommended, and I can see that the author has good possibilities. Good narrative, good imagination, good plot and character development: she takes on some interesting issues in her dystopia of corruption, manipulation, and societal masking

This book read like it was a second book in a series. No idea if it is. Lots happened in the past and is mentioned a lot to introduce characters and events that leaves the reader feeling like I have missed something.
I really despise vampire books. This one wasn’t really about vampires other than the Fae in this book are depicted as drinking “Day” human blood. I have read plenty of Fae inspired books and this is a first depiction of them being vampires. But it isn’t dwelt on so that may be why I
