Series of articles about many aspects of cities that first appeared in Scientific American. Individually many are good, but it's hit and miss if you'll find a topic that interests you. I'll continue dipping into this, but currently, DNF>

This is about designing cities in places where that could be iffy at best. Some places in the Middle East are so hot, this can be a challenge. What about climate change and smarthouses? This book talks about this and a lot more.
