Boldt Castle: Heart Island

It is the history of Heart Island from 1871 to the present. The people involved are all the owners of the island - both past and current. The main feature, of course, is the Boldt family and their contribution to the place. The Castle opened in 1918 to the public. Over 225,000 visit it from mid-May to mid-October. $14 million has gone into restoration of the castle since 1977. This book was introduced to the public in 1992 and has been revised & reprinted 8 times since then. Over 2,200 copies are sold each year. The book has 100 pictures - 14 are in color. It is 8" by 8 & 1/2" in size.
