This Christmas, join Dawn and Debra as they unravel romance and rekindle love in the enchanting charm of Breckenridge.
Dawn and Debra Taylor, who lost touch with their brother years ago, are stunned when he suddenly invites them back to their childhood hometown of Breckenridge for the holidays. They return to find a man in ruins – and the estate they’d fought over so many years ago lying in shambles.
Determined to rekindle their relationship with their only remaining family, Dawn and Debra settle in for the holiday season… and they quickly reawaken fond memories from their childhood.
But when their brother mysteriously vanishes, leaving behind nothing but a cryptic trail of clues, the twins are plunged into a puzzling scavenger hunt to find him before Christmas. As old flames step back into their lives, long-forgotten romances begin to smolder as both twins are brought face-to-face with the men they thought they’d left firmly in their past.
Can Dawn and Debra find their brother before Christmas night? And as their hunt for clues takes them across town and deep into their own pasts, what will the sisters discover about themselves along the way?
As a delightful feel-good Christmas read that intertwines wholesome romance with a dash of mystery, The Christmas Cottage is a fun and festive contemporary women’s fiction series that will warm your heart and speak to your soul.
Grace Meyers is an author of beachy feel-good romances and women's contemporary fiction. She was born in the south, but has traveled a bit since then and now lives in a small coastal town.
A set of mini books to tell the story. Parents only leave assets to biological children. He does not do the right thing and split assets with his sisters. Maximizes his career by tricking his sisters along with friends. He is a horrible person but they forgive and Marty and stay there. There is no reward on for them to forgive him for anything in this story.
I can’t believe it’s finally over! This is definitely unlike any of Grace’s books I’ve read before & I’ve read a lot! This series just seemed to be so full of repetition to stretch it out to 6 books. The last book was of course the best book when she finally bought everything together. This I guess you could say introduces you to another side of Grace’s writing. When Dawson finally showed up & the twins found out what Dawson had been up to they were furious. How could he use them like that when they were so worried about him, afraid something awful had happened to him & no one, not even the police were taking them serious about his disappearance. It had a really good & surprise in romantic ending. I was so surprised 😮 at how it ended. Everything works out one way or another for everyone involved.
I was given this ARC for free & I am giving my review for free & in my own words.
Yes, for happily ever after! What a way to end this series... Grace tied up all the loose ends nicely and finally put everything into perspective. All ended well for Dawson, Dawn, Debbie, Orlando, Pierce, Erick, Fran, and Gordon got exactly what he deserved!! The proposals were magical and well deserved. The ending epilogue made me smile. This was an action packed, and well-written series and I enjoyed every book!
The series draws to a close as Dawson returns home. Dawn and Debbie are furious with him as his plan was revealed.
Will the twins forgive him? Is there a chance Dawn and Orlando and Debbie and Pierce will have a future and find Love again? What will the future bring?
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
Liked the story. Hated the read. Every other paragraph you had to try to figure out what the author meant to say because AI auto correct changed a word to what it thinks should be there. It ruined the flow of the author’s words and made the read difficult. Go back to the human proof reader. The mistakes we way less. I will not read this author again any time soon
Dawson finally returns home and we find out where he has been through the entire series. Read to find out. Dawn and Debbie are angry with him but all turns out well in the end. Thank you for the ARC copy.
I did not enjoy this series. It wasn't her typical writing style and it was like there was noone to proof the wrong words used, the words spelled wrong, etc... I enjoy her books, just not this series.
I enjoyed all 6 books except for two things-typos and grammar. I'm very picky about these things and it made these books a little less enjoyable. At one spot, the wrong character's name was used. I re-read that rethinking I was misunderstanding.
The editing was horrible throughout the entire 6 books. It took away from the enjoyment of the story. I felt that the romantic parts could have been condensed as it was very redundant. I did enjoy the author’s very vivid imagination.
For all the different plots the story had a ha Oh ending for all. Grace Mayer's is a great writer she knew how to keep you on edge of your seat and keep you guessing
