4.5 ⭐️ I'm a sucker for a reverse harem and this did not disappoint. Who doesn't love down bad men who want to please their lady.
I'm taking a half a star away because I guessed the end maybe 35% thru but otherwise this was a fast paced quick read and I can't wait to devour the next one.

This why-choose, enemies-to-lovers, captor/captive, forced-proximity MFM romantasy is the first book in the Enchantress series. It ends on a cliff-hanger that will make you squeal. I need the next book immediately! I loved the banter, the world-building, and the passionate bond between Livana and her lovers. The twists are exquisite. It is fast-paced and perfectly spicy, and I am dying to know what happens next!

Wow this book was amazing.. a half-succubus who survives off blood and desire, 2 bounty hunters intent on taking her to the Collector, and a mysterious fated mate... hiding a secret grows forever harder *excuse the pun* with new emotions and feelings arising.. with an impossible plan of vengeance this book ended on 2 explosive revelations.. the author writes beautifully and really manages to capture the reader within the pages and have them hanging on for more.. I loved it and can't wait to find out what comes next.

All I have to say is I NEED to read the next book like now!! Because that cliffhanger …omg 😳🤯
I ate this wonderful book up !! This book swept me into its dark 🖤and steamy world and I didn’t want to leave! I really loved everything about it! It was so very easy to follow, it definitely had some “The Witcher/ True Blood) vibes , loved all the different mythological/magical characters ( Succubi , Fae, sirens, and phoenixes etc, )
MFM 🥵the steamy why choose 🥵 aspect in a Romantasy ( one of my favorite tropes) fated mates, a strong MFC, secret identities, the hilarious banter, this book checked ✔️ all the boxes in what I love in a great Romantasy book!!
MFC badass “Livanna” is a half-Succubus / half something I can’t say because I don’t want to spoil it lol 😂 she survives on blood and desire. She is on a mission to take down the tryant called “The Collector “ who takes over the kingdom and starts purging out all the creatures who are a threat to him.
The unique, magic system!! “ Livanna” also communicates with her “Matched/ Fated Mate” (who she never met ) “Six” with messages that appear like gold script words across certain parts of her body. I just thought that was so very unique and interesting!!
She tries to keep a low profile because of who she is , but is then captured by two “Drifters/ BountyHunters ) MMCs “ Zev and Jagger” who try and take her to “The Collector” to collect their bounty. But during their journey takes a different turn and they soon become “Linked”
Loved (grumpy)Zev and (cinnamon roll) Jagger 😍😍 they both had totally different personalities but they complemented “Livanna” so well!! I fell in love with this trio!! 🥰
Overall … I highly recommend this wonderful book !! !!!! And looking forward to reading more books by Jade Presley!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My bestie and I decided on a buddy read of this after becoming completely obsessed with The Never List. I have to say I think Jade has 1,000 percent earned her new title as one of my autobuy authors and is definitely in the top 3 for my favorite romantasy authors. I really enjoyed this book so much and felt such a connection with our FMC. Being someone who is disabled, I completely get Livana’s frustrations with her body and not being fully in control of it because that is something I deal with daily. I was absolutely obsessed with our MMCs and loved the mystery of who her mate is. My issue with this book comes in at the end because she really DOUBLE cliffhangered us like one twist is bad but TWO like how am I supposed to move on from that. I don’t know when I second book will come out but I need it NOW cause it’s so not fair to be left hanging like that 🤣🤣 I definitely think this is a must read for my romantasy girlies out there!!

This is the first book in Enchantress, a new romantasy series about a young woman on the run with revenge on her mind. Tropes include why choose (MFM), secret identities, touch her and die, badass FMC, cinnamon roll MMC , grumpy MMC, morally gray, banter, fated mates, captors/captive, forced proximity, and enemies to lovers. There are several dark themes and events so please review the content warnings.
The Lovely: I loved this book on so many fronts. I love the main characters and their interactions. The FMC is a badass but sometimes vulnerable, and interacts with each of the MMC’s differently. And, I love the emotions behind the characters and how that emotion bled through their thoughts and actions.
Also Lovely: I also loved the story - from the characters’ motivations to their multi-week journey to the villain. It drew me in as I wanted to know what came next. I *gobbled* this book up - started it within hours of receiving and finished it in one night.

This book was refreshingly easy to read. I've really come to adore RH/ why choose books after reading Pam Godwin's Frozen Fate trilogy (but FYI, this book is nowhere near as beautifully traumatising as those hahah), so when I found this book on Instagram I knew I had to get it! And it was such an entertaining and binge-worthy book!!
I did predict the plot twist at the end, but I was still upset when that morphed into a cruel cliffy ending and no indication of when book 2 will be released :'( I need answers ASAP 😂😭

Zev is a drifter whose tasks is to hunt down other magical beings for a bounty. He is grumpy and brooding. He travels along Jagger who is his total opposite as he is a notorious flirt and overall is pretty upbeat.
The characters and world building are well written. Jade sucks you in from the very first chapter. I love that the FMC was a succubus and that there was a male siren!! The "Why Choose" was so well done. I can't wait to continue this series and see where things go, especially with Gary.

Well a bombshell was just dropped and I need to know what happens next yesterday! I was so excited to read The Veil of Blood and Magic, an Enchantress Novel, and it did not disappoint!
If you like Paranormal Fantasy Romance with a Why Choose, Captors/Captive, Forced Proximity, Hidden Identity, Revenge, One Horse and so much more, then this book is for you!
In The Veil of Blood and Magic, we follow Liviana who has been on the run most of her life working in pleasure establishments because of being a succubus..along with another side she doesn’t dare let out.
Until one night she is caught by 2 drifters, Zev and Jagger, that are going to take her to the Collector for a handsome reward. But while she initially puts up a fight, this sets another plan of hers into motion to unalive the one that murdered her family.
Liviana holds many secrets including a heart ailment which complicates matters. Zev and Jagger, no matter how much they might try to deny it, cannot resist Liviana, there is something about her they both crave. She tries to tell herself that her captors are just a means to an end but there is something pulling her towards them and it might be all their downfall.

I probably should have known what I was getting myself into with this book having read a few of Jade Presley’s books back before I started this bookstagram, but this girl has no sense of self preservation when it comes to reading - and I went in full force. 𝓦𝓗𝓔𝓦. That was a wild and fun ride. The excitement starts immediately and the adrenaline lasts all the way to the last page. The characters were fun and interesting and I could keep each of them in a little jar forever - because honestly, why choose which one we love most. IYKYK.

Do I love Jades other books? Indeed I do. Have I been looking forward to this one? Very much. And it did not disappoint at all!
Livana is a succubus with a heart condition and a secret so dangerous it could get her killed. She’s spent years on the run, biding her time to take down the tyrant who destroyed her family. But when she’s captured by monster bounty hunters (drifters), things take a thrilling (and steamy!) turn.
I love why-choose romances and fantasy books with strong heroines, and The Veil of Blood and Magic absolutely delivered! Livana is everything I adore in a main character—she’s fierce, resourceful, and juggling so much: a deadly secret, a heart condition counting down her days, and her complicated (and sizzling!) relationships with the drifters.
The fantasy world is rich, the romance is spicy and Livana’s strength and courage despite her struggles is so inspiring. Plus, the cliffhanger had me gasping—I need the next book NOW. If you’re into magical worlds, badass heroines, and why-choose romance that’ll leave you swooning, this is a must-read!

This book has carried me through such a rough time and maybe that's why it hit so hard but my god, I don't even think you need to be dealing with an emotional roller coaster to fully experience this one.
Jade Presley's writing is PEAK in this book-the story flowed effortlessly and felt absolutely magical the entire time.
It felt like fear at times, like what cold air in autumn feels like against your face, like love that is so true it's self sacrificing.
It felt like one of the best books I've ever read.
This book gave:

Ok so I am not someone who reads Romantasy’s of Fsntasy novels by any means . In fact it was just by accident I came across the Sign up for this book ( and I was immediately intrigued) I took a chance on something new and I’m so so happy I did . This really was the perfect blend of many of my favorite tropes 💜why choose MFM ) Touch her and die vibes , a badass Heroine , secret identity’s , enemies to lovers, morally Gray alpha hero’s , forced proximity and some tropes that are.new to me such as fated mates and witches . This is definitely the type of journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time and play on all your emotions in ways you won’t even see coming. I really do feel like I was taken on the ride of my life and completely blown away I in all the best ways possible

My mind is blown! Jade Presley is one of my favorite authors and this just proves why! She is the why choose queen of all writers. Incredible from start to finish!!
I really didn't know what to expect from this book when I started but I did know that it was going to be good. I read jade's shattered isle series and absolutely fell in love with not only the world she created but also the characters. What I love about her books is the fact she bases the characters off of film or TV series which help with picturing the characters from her books.
This book is amazing, I was hooked from start to finish and that ending had me shook 😱. Honestly cannot wait for the next book. Another 5⭐ read from Jade!!!!!

Jade delivered such an amazing story!! This book was everything! It literally left me speechless. The tension and the suspense is to die for! I always love a good romantasy and this one was so steamy😍😍 The characters were great! I loved how one was a succubus, and one was a siren! What a twist! I absolutely can't wait to devour the next book after being left on that cliffhanger!

I am so beyond in love with this book! Jade Presley is really ramping everything up a notch. From Zev and Jagger to the mysterious Six that writes magical notes on Lavinia’s body this story was a puzzle I couldn’t want to put all the pieces together! I love how strong Lav is from the very beginning of the story as she is forced to continuously move and hide but how she doesn’t let that stop her from finding some pleasure in her life. I can’t wait to see where the story goes next!

I’ve been in a book slump for about a month now, and this book was exactly what I needed! This is my first ever Jade Presley book and I’m foaming at the mouth to read the next one. The plot in itself makes this a fantastic book, but when you add in possessive brooding males and mates and all the spice that comes with it? A freaking masterpiece! This is definitely a 2024 top read for me. If you like magic, spice, and sexy men who chase you, please do yourself a favor and read this!

It started out strong. I like the FMC character and the beginning. Who wouldn’t love a half vampire, half siren?I loved where the world building was going so saddened a bit that it felt like that element lessened the more other characters got introduced. Got a little predictable nearing the middle. It was still enjoyable and spicy but more of a fast spice book rather than feeling totally immersed in the fantasy.

What a fun ride this was! Why choose, MFM, captor/captive, fated mate, fantasy romance full of all kinds of supernatural beings. I called the ending pretty early on but still enjoyed the journey. It's fast-paced and perfectly spicy 🤌 Can't wait to see where the story goes from here!

idk like 1.5? well this was a book club pick, it was not my choice. let's just say i'm glad it was a quick read! i love smut don't get me wrong, i just don't love when sex is a plot device? the whole ~sex/desire gives me power~ thing... not for me, sorry ! also nothing happened, the entire book. the book was just jagger, zev, and livana going to lingate. that was it.

I was immediately hooked and ate this story up. Livanna is half succubus who lives off blood and desire. She never stays in one place too long cause she doesn’t want to be discovered. But then she is captured by two bounty hunters, Jagger and Zev who plan on taking her to the collector, but she has a plan of her own. This was such a great intro to this story. I can’t wait for more.

This book was spectacular and I need the next book now! I really enjoyed the world building. The characters were fantastic. My favorite is Jagger so far. These are the type of male characters I enjoy in stories. This was fun to read!

Thank God it ended
