Humans.

Truth or myth? Ancient lost civilization or just an old pony's tale?

No pony has ever seen one, and most haven't even heard of them. But Lyra knows that these wonderful creatures are more than just old legends, and she's going to find out... and possibly drive her roommate insane in the process.

The fic that started my horn-first dive into this fandom. Lots of folks know this one, it's a fantastic fic about everyone's favorite human-obsessed pony: Lyra! I may be looking back at the fic through rose-tinted glasses because it was the first one I read, but it's wholesome and the characters are great, if you haven't read it already go do it!

What an excellent read. This capitalizes on the notion that Lyra is obsessed with hands and fills in the back story as to why this is. Also basis for an epic video on YouTube.
Very well written and integrates seamlessly into the mythos of the show.

Said something simular before on FIM FICTION, here it's just a bit more inclusive.

i really liked the premise, and i enjoyed the first part, even i started to kind of wonder if humans existed in the world of equestria, but the rest of the book kind of lost the suspense, conflict and mystery. nothing of conflict really happened in the 2nd act and the climax felt rushed.

then again, maybe i should be cutting it some slack, it is a fan fiction afterall, and i still found it worth reading to give me a glimpse of what unpublished writing is like. it may have the flaws of amateurness but i think jason has the potential to become a genuinely great published author if he were to continue writing & improve his craft.

though, he hasn't been active since 2015. Oh well.
