In a tiny town called Fort Everwick-the kind of community with a Norman Rockwell sweet style-four earthbound spirits have kept watch on the community and its inhabitants, including animal, since they each separately passed on March 19,1932. The four are sort of spirit guides, but additionally theyve been gifted powers, including the ability to bring back to life. One, Hunter Emmerton, also has visions:

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was the ideal novel action, romance, suspense, raw emotion, a little paranormal element just to add to the excitement and intrigue. It had me gnawing at my fingernails wondering what would happen next and longing to read more.

This is by far one of the best trilogies out there currently. Chloe Miles has created such a heartwarming, tear-jerking tale, and I cant wait to see what else she has in store with See No Evil and Ever After.

. Words cant even express how amazing this book is. The idea of a relationship blossoming between a human girl and a ghost is so unique and the way it is told is so captivating.

The ending will leave you stunned and craving for more.

Note: I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

The first thing that drew me into this book was the story line. The concept of people coming back from the dead and having powers with spirits helping them seemed new and interesting. I did not think the author disappointed in the execution of it either. There were a couple slow moments but the book picked up and I found myself wondering what was going to happen next. I think the cover of the book is a little ho hum

I will say that Faded started off extremely slow for me, I had to force myself keep reading. Once I made it midway, I couldn't put it down! I instantly fell in love with Hunter and the romance he shares with Savannah. My heart hurt every time something/something would try to tear them apart... they are meant to be together! Normally I'm not a fan of love stories, but that was the element of this book that stuck with me. I never had so many aww moments in my life! The innocence of their love and ...more

WOW! Is the first thing that pops into my mind.

This is probably one of the best books I have read!

This is one of those books that if you open it you WILL NOT put it down until the whole book is finished.

Keeps you on edge throughout the whole story!

Truly a fantastic story, heartwarming, and def makes you smile.

When I first came across this book I was so excited to read it. I loved the cover!! It's so incredibly simple but so appealing to me at the same time. Then I read the book description and knew that I had to add it to my TBR list immediately!!! So when the blog tour was announced I jumped at the chance to be involved!!

Faded was one of those books that had me mesmerized from the beginning. How could a human girl and a ghost fall in love, you might ask? How could they not especially when said ghost is as perfectly charming and caring and romantic as Hunter Emmerton. The love between Savannah and Hunter is so real and pure and inspiring and makes you wish that every girl could find her own Hunter Emmerton. I know I certainly do. And the cliffhanger ending left me speechless. I was so not expecting that outcome, ...more

Faded was ah-may-zing!!! At first it was a little confusing with the whole spirit thing, but as I continued reading, I LOVED it! I just hope something more can become of Savannah and Hunters relationship and that theyll somehow be able to find a way to feel each others touch. Their love for each other is so heartbreaking yet so beautiful. Well done Chloe Miles on such a great story. I cant wait to read See No Evil! ...more

I am a huge fan of anything paranormal, especially stories involving ghosts and even more especially involving romance. The fact that Chloe Miles combined both of these in such a unique way is purely genius.
Ill definitely be reading the rest of this series. Im addicted!

When I first read the blurb for this story I was curious, how does a girl kiss a ghost. When I received the book I started reading it and I soon found out that it wasn't what I imagined.

The movement of the story began quite tediously for me I'm afraid. It took quite a bit to get into the story and even then it wasn't a page turner by far. But the story progressed along nicely and did move along in the direction for the ultimate ending.

The plot of the story is good. Its the classic tale of Good

This is good and it is right up to my alley. A little bit of supernatural, superpowers and a pinch of love thrown in makes this a freaking good book. The story line is fresh and I can't wait for the next book because the suspense in the book makes me feel dangerously close to the cliff, a sheer drop of terrifying goodness.

~This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review through a R2R program~

I loved the idea behind this book. Teenagers who were able to switch from ghost form to solid ones reminded me of Danny Phantom a show on Nick that my little brother used to watch. It was actually a pretty entertaining show, so I was looking forward to reading it. I was actually pretty disappointed however. While the story idea drew my

I'm always a bit sorry when I read a book and do not like it. It makes me feel bad to have to say that I didn't enjoy it because I know how much work and effort go into writing a book. I really don't like negative reviews but as a reviewer, when you are asked for your honest opinion, you give it.

This book had so much potential. The premise sounded intriguing and I was interested in reading it. The actual play out of the potential ideas were lacking though. Sometimes books grab you from the

The idyllic town of Fort Everwick is watched over by four spirits, guardians of the land imbued with paranormal powers. In the 1980s, they chose four souls who would have perished in a car accident to save and bestow powers upon, but it didnt work out as planned. Three of them turned evil, forming into what theyd come to call The Forces. I started reading this book thinking it would be amazing, I had read the plot and it sounded really good, really interesting. But it was clear to me within the first chapter that I wouldn't like this book that much.

Don't get me wrong, the idea behind it was cool and the characters all had some quite interesting aspects about them, but as I reading this book it had the feel that a young child had written it. I think that this was due to the lack of detail given. This book is mostly all dialogue

I was really looking forward to reding this book. I was a bit disappointed though. The story was a bit dragged out, but once it got going to the main plot I was once again let down. Savannah is supposed to have all these superpowers and be more powerful than the rest of the characters, but she never done anything to fight back to be an actual heroine nor did any of the chosen ones ever do anything. All she did was want to sacrifice herself to save her sister instead of fight the forces of the ...more

I was looking forward to this read when I saw the description, but was greatly disappointed. The ideas weren't nearly as thrilling as I thought they might be. I also had a major problem with the plot which was not suspenseful at all. Much of the book was Savannah being the most unstable teenager that I've ever read as far as emotions go. The constant switch got on my nerves. Not only did Savannah's character show irrational changes, but also Annabelle's character greatly changed when she was ...more

I enjoyed this book; the story was interesting and different. Even though I did like the story, I still felt like the book was missing something. I think the book needed more twist and turns to make it a page turner.

Although, this book is not a page turner, it is still a great book to sit down and relax with.

I cannot what for the next one.

Faded, was, well, a tad bit boring. The concept's interesting 4 teens are killed and are then bought back to life to help some spirits who are like guardian angels and have been around for almost a hundred years defeat a trio of peeps called The Forces who have been around since 1989. Oh, and it most certainly puts out a new definition of feeling as though someone's watching you.

I promise you I really don't

The world to me before that time seemed like a utopian society, hence "perfect little

When the author approached me with the question if I wanted to read Faded I didnt hesitate a moment. The blurb of this book sounded really interesting and I couldnt wait to find out more about the Chosen Ones and The Forces.

The beginning of the book was rather slow. The first few chapters were rather unnecessary, they were too introductory. It took quite a bit too really get into the story. But the story progressed from there on and it all culminated in a

In the beginning of Faded the narrator sounds as if they are telling a legend or it's a legend in the making. It was great! I know that many books have to capture readers attentions in the first few pages and Faded certainly does that.

There are several scary scenes that really get your heart pumping. It was fun to be able to experience that even if it didn't happen often.

Faded jumps between different characters perspectives in the third person which can make things slightly confusing once or

Ghosts, evil and some romance makes for a pretty nifty read. I've never been a huge fan of reading about ghosts, but this story was interesting. The biggest issue I had was the formatting. I received an e-copy and because my Kobo died, I had to read it on my cell phone. I figured that might have had something to do with the way it was displayed. Once I got through several pages, I got used to it and it didn't bother so bad.

I thought Ms. Miles did a wonderful job with this one. It has an

I started this book back on October 5th, it is now October 15th and I just finished it. The story was good the format was horrible and that is what I believe attributed to the length of time that it took to read. Usually I read a book this length in two days. So be aware if the format is choppy it takes a little time to get adjusted to it. I received the copy of the book for free
