Cambree Parker has finally flown the nest and headed off to college in a different state, truly alone for the first time. Trying to escape from her sisters shadows, she runs from the lies and deceit that have plagued her family for years, and from the boy who stole her heart and shredded it in the process. Once there, she realizes her freedom is not all she hoped it would be. She misses her family, thinks of Max daily, and when she decides she wants to take control, she is attacked, leaving her family to fear for their safety. Can she protect her heart and remain safe when the source of her heartache has taken up permanent residence by her side?

Max Baird knew he messed up. His guilt over Cambree being attacked makes him doubt if he is good enough for her. He just knows he can’t walk away. She has told him she hates the lies, but the one he is keeping can blow her family apart, and he doesn’t know if she will ever forgive him. He has seen his share of sorrow and heartbreak, but he refuses to allow Cambree to suffer at his hands anymore. He will prove to her they can work. Hopefully he isn’t too late.

***I received an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.***

This is the 3rd book from my now top favorite book series The Parker Siblings "Not Hiding". This time around it tells the story of the youngest sister Cambree Parker.

The story starts out with Cambree in college living on her own for the first time in her life. At first she thought this was the best for her, to be on her own to be her own person. As time passes, she starts missing her siblings and can't keep her mind off her ex-boyfriend Max, who broke her heart. Max has been texting her non-stop trying to get her to come meet him. Finally, one day she answered his text and agreed to meet up with him. The day came and instead of them having that talk, Cambree ran away and was attacked. Things started spiraling out of control and Cambree ended up in the hospital hurt by three men, that Max tried stop..but didn't have the chance. And the story goes on.

As the story progresses, I got to know how great Max really is and how in love he is with Cambree. No matter how much Cambree tried pushing him away, he didn't leave. He wanted to protect her and win her back. As surprise as everyone in the family, Brielle is Max first ally....which help him out a lot. Brielle and Addison both help Max win Cambree back. While all this was happening, the family were trying find ways to bring Dustin back. At the same time, Mitch drop a big shock to them all.

I read this book in one sitting, because just like the other two books I could not put it down. Of course, just like the other two books, even though the main focus of this book is Cambree and Max...everyone have their POV and I love that.

I see this story going into a 4th book about Dustin. Leigh Ann Please tell me there is a 4th book.

Thanks for sharing your book with me Leigh Ann, I love it!

Holy obi wan kenobi batman! I freaking loved this book & probably my favorite of all. If I could give 10 Stars, not only this series but this book would deserve it!

Ok, so this is Cambree and Max's story. Cambree has flown the Parker nest and enrolled to college, trying to be the carefree bird being single, going to parties, getting drunk, making out with random strangers.

Cambree doesn't know Max's secret while working undercover to watch over her and also make sure Brent doesn't come near her while in college. Max doesn't give up and asks to meet her at a coffee shop and when they finally may have a second chance, Cambree gets hurt and sent to the hospital. When Cambree finally wakes up, she remembers the attack and also finds out that the Baird brothers were undercover trying to protect her the whole time. This breaks her heart and she feels betrayed and lied too once again.

"We are stubborn and fierce. We love hard, fight hard, but above all, we are family in every sense of the word. You wrong one of us; you hurt all of us. And that is not a pleasant place to be."~Brielle

Max is so broken hearted and thought he had his second chance with Cambree but when secrets are revealed, he has to work even harder and doesn't give up. Mitch and Max work together to wrap up this investigation up because they don't want any more secrets from his siblings and ready to tell them the truth and put this behind him. The Baird brothers thought they found the answers needed to put this to an end with Brent and make sure he is in prison for good but things get in the way once again. Max is beside himself because he thinks if things don't end soon, that it may be an end for him and Cambree as well.

"I am afraid I will always love him, and one thing I could never deny is that I do love him. It was almost instantaneous for me. Hook, line, and sinker with that boy." ~ Cambree

The whole time reading this book, I caught myself laughing so hard that I was literally crying. There are so many favorite quotes that were highlighted. I will read the full series once Dustin's book comes out in July. The ending of this one just broke my heart and I wanted to reach in and hug the Parker Siblings myself.

"I didn't realize how close he moved to me during his speech. I notice now because my breath is coming out in pants, I am so turned on by him, I don't know if I can speak, and all I want to do is pull him to me and let nature take its course." ~Cambree

I don't want to spoil this for you so I put down a few of my favorite quotes through this review. Leigh Ann is awesome! Thank you for letting me read this early before release.

"You love of life and family, your carefree attitude, and the way you always put others first is uniquely you. I wish you could see what everyone else sees...how we love you and admire you. Camy, you are one of a kind, not a replacement."~Max

review will be posted on Amazon and Blogger close to release

Wow where to start with this book... Cambree is the youngest sister of the clan. She is also independent, strong willed, and loves to the fullest. Max is an undercover cop with Mitch and knows some interesting facts about the case that can't be shared. Cambree is in love with Max but doesn't want lies in their relationship so she walks away broken. Max has been watching Cambree since the beginning. Brent is the bastard that has taken away so much from this family and now has targeted Cambree. A tragic accident happens at college and puts Cambree in the hospital Max vows from that day he will never let her out of his site and will protect her with everything he has. Max tries everything he has in him to make her see the truth. Cambree is hardheaded like the other Parker girls and won't listen. Brielle gives him some advice and he sticks to it! Will he get his girl in the end or is she to broken to be fixed again? I love this story and this series is amazing!!!! A must read in my book and can't wait for Dustin's book!!

There hasn't been a series in a long time that has me gunning for more... Leigh Ann I need more!!

I absolutely loved Cambree & Max's story. Max was so sexy & forceful but in a very hot way. Cambree is his life that is clear to see. He would do anything for her and her family. My stomach knotted yet again, girly you truly know how to get a book to affect me.
Again with the amazing banter between the whole Parker/James crew ;-) I had tears streaming down my face at the yard pranks to bring Mitch into the family.

I loved that the truth finally came out and Mitch was made more than welcome, which I knew they would.
Now Miss Leigh Ann, I need more Dustin, I wanted to hug the boy so much, I had a tear in my eye from his last words. Bless him.

What an epic story/series.

Another awesome book from Leigh Ann! I absolute loved this one. As always it is well written and you get sucked into all their lives. I love that it's from everyone's point of view so you get a feel for how everyone is feeling. It's a perfect balance of humour and seriousness. Can't wait for the next book! Would definitely recommend this and her other two to everyone xxx

Lets do this.....

Once again author Leigh Ann Lundsford showed me her ability to hook me in a story that makes me forget the world around me and for that i say - BRAVO!!

this is the THIRD book in the Parker siblings series, we met Brielle, Addison , and now is Cambree time..
I had very high expectations in this one.. because for who is following the series, this book is where some lies and secrets come to life.. I can confess that I stalked amazon from the moment the author said she had pressed publish.. :D and I was NOT disappoint..
the whole gang is back and everyone has an opinion to share, yes we get multiple POv's, this book is so well paced that you will start and finish in one go.. and surprise yourself that is already over and start screaming where is the next one - i know I did that - ... we get the out of this world silly conversations that make you laugh out loud, some serious conversations, a few moments that you just want to hug someone, you will get mad :D .. but I just love all that because when a book makes you feel all that.. you just know its a great book and you will have to re-read to see what you missed when you were clutching you stomach from laughing.. BUT the most important -for me- its my all time favorite - Music!! expressing what you feel with music, its an old habit of mine, so when i read books where the characters do that .. its great.. and the music in Not Hiding playlist are off the charts, must download because you want them in your playlist .. yeap i did that too, but come on, Waiting for superman by Daughtry is a great song and all, but this book gave it a whole new meaning to it.. :)
Cambree is all grown up and has a mind of her own, she makes some decisions in this book that made me actually clap my hands and say "you go, girl " .. she is not the typical silly 18year old girl, who needs guidense, and makes poor decisions, nope Cambree is -I do what i want and i take no prisoners, you follow me or you stay behind, and damn if you dont follow that chick.. That for me was one of the most adorable moments in this book, she had such a hard exterior and "bossing around" and the gang would follow her, even though everyone was just indulging her, because in reality she was just learning the ropes in what exactly is to be an adult.. but hey, you only learn from your mistakes after you make them.. and the support system this family gives each other is great..
Max, oh my Max, he was the guy with so much to give and i wanted to cry every time Cambree shut him down, for real, who turns their back to true love?? ugh a million people..? wait, thats not what i meant!! :P what i mean is, when you know someone is THE one, you have to fight fight fight, cry a little (or a lot) and fight .. if he/ or she is THe one you can NOT give up .. and for that, I was Max cheerleader in this book.. i knew i just knew he would get her in the end, but damnm if it wasnt a tough fight.. Cambree is just as stubborn as her older sisters.. and that is saying a LOT.. but Max is stubborn too, he knew what he wanted and that was Cambree, and know this, when a cop has his eyes set to catch something nothing and no one can make them change their mind..
We finally get the whole story behind Hope, Max and Mitch sister, and that made me curse Brent the weasel.. when we get to meet a new character, and a little behind the scenes of Dustin's decisions to continue to stay away , I forgave him a little.. now after Teryn's story I was planning a search party.. damn, BRENT is a full on douchecanoe - LOL- Effing heckling I really hope I get to read some really hard punches thrown in his way before he roots in jail..
MY only glitch in this book was the Multiple POV's .. I love when we get all the characters opinions, BUT i think the author needs to watch when to change from one character to the other, and still keep the story floating.. there were moments where I was so concentrated and then she would change and i would lose myself, and ask myself Why would did she do that? and I had to go back and see what xxx character was talking about.. But other than that .. 5 Stars..
now as I always do.. the songs that i choose to explain this book are Christina Perri - Human.. Avril Lavigne - let me go .. Olly Murs - Dear Darling AND Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake - Love never felt so good!! That's IT!
And as a curse to the readers, she wrote an Epilogue that makes you scream and say, Damn you Leigh Ann , I want book 4 NOW!! Dustin your time has come.. and Dudeee.. I cant wait to get close and personal with this character.. he has so much to explain, and to grow to a man.. well, YEap I will be stalking another story by author Leigh Ann Lundsford.. and I am sure it will bring the house down.. xoxo happy readings.. LC!

This is Cambree and Max's story. We have had some previous insight into her from Not Enough and Not Leaving, and just small glimpses of Max and his investigation along with his brother Mitch into Brent, the Parker siblings' right hand goon. For some unknown reason Cambree and Max broke up, and it had something to do with lies by omission and another girl. But there are far more serious secrets that Max is holding from Cambrea and when they surface, what will the fallout be for these two?

"You shut me out months ago over this bullshit, Cambree. Not again. I will let you rest now, but I am telling you, you will hear me out," I warn her.

The other siblings main concern is Cambree. At the end of Not Leaving she was meeting Max in a coffee shop, saw Kamryn come in (the girl we think is the source of their problems and ran out). Max heard her scream and found her hurt and bleeding on the sidewalk. The men who did this to her, ran and got away. But Cambree heard them mention Brent's name over and over. Now practically the whole family is at her bedside in the hospital. Max and Mitch are letting some details about Brent out, but are reserved about their sister Hope's death, or Mitch's real relationship to the Parkers.

One of the family's fears centers around Dustin and why he is living with the Parkers' parents. But he has his own agenda and is now involved with Brent's daughter Teryn ( I suspect we may be getting a real close look at these two in Dustin's story, coming next.)

Can Cambree and Max ever reveal everything that they are hiding from each other? Will Brent and the Parkers' parents ever pay for the despicable things they have done? Can this family ever have peace of mind and live their lives without the outside dangers that seem to plague them?

"I didn't say I was an innocent, but damn it you were. You gave me that, all of it and I don't ever want to think of another person getting any of you. I want that all for me. I want you to keep it all for me. Your mind, your body, and soon, your heart. I want to own that."

This series continues to hold my attention. These characters with their tempers, drama and outbursts are real and likeable and I want to be part of that inner circle they have with each other. Amidst all the chaos there are some funny moments, and some steamy ones, and I look forward to Dustin's story next.

"When I see my future, I see you. Nothing else, just you always by my side."

Not Hiding is the third book in the Parker Sibling Series, it is Cambree and Max's story. It is filled with drama, heartbreak, and love. Oh yeah it also has plenty of crazy ass, funny moments by the Parker sisters.

Cambree is off at college and has agreed to meet up with Max but other things take place which leads to Cambree being attacked. Cambree knows who is responsible for the attack on her, the asshole who has been torturing the Parker family for years, Brent. Even though Cambree is strong, this attack has pushed her to the one man that broke her heart, Max Baird. Her love for him never changed, but she just couldn't deal with all secrets and lies Max fed her. Cambree will not give in to easily to Max, he must prove himself.

Max feels guilty about Cambree's attack, he was supposed to be protecting her, but in turn brought her into harms way. Max knows he screwed up in the past, and is determined to make it up to Cambree. He wants to start their relationship right this time with no lies and no secrets. Until everything can be revealed he has to hold back expressing the way he truly feels about Cambree, but is still going to be by her side no matter what. He will protect her this time, no more slip ups.

As Max and Mitch work on a case against Brent, more secrets are revealed that may help them catching Brent and putting him away for good. Mitch has his own secret that he needs to tell the family but isn't for sure how or when he should tell them. Max and Mitch have to make tough decisions about what to tell the Parker family, because just they know any deviation in their plans could risk everything they have built up in the case so far.

Even though there is so much drama going on with the Parker gang, they all no how to act crazy and have fun when the moment is right. The women in the family are strong-willed and sassy, while their men support them and know when to back down. I seriously love the things that come out the Parker sister's mouths, it is hilarious. I love the multiple POVs from all the family during the book. After following the Parker gang since the beginning of the series I feel like I'm apart of the family. I loved how Cambree and Max's story ended. I can't wait to read Dustin's story.

Wow, what an amazing read that has left me with a serious case of book hangover this morning. I could not go to sleep until I finished reading it!

This is the 3rd book in the Parker Siblings series, it's Cambree's story. We've seen her grow up in these 3 books. And now we get to see her fall in love and try to figure it out all while trying to figure out her life, recover from a severe beating and almost kidnapping. She is a lot like both of her sisters, which isn't a bad thing.

Max is a cop that is undercover with his brother Mitch. They are investigating Brent and the Parker sibs dad. The Parker's don't know about it though. They are also keeping some other big time secrets from the family, including Mitch being their half brother. Max and Cambree have dated in the past, she broke it off with him after a fling of his came to light. She didn't go to the college she was suppose to.

A lot is still going on with Dustin and the sisters don't know the full story.

Once all the secrets are out, Max says one of my favorite quotes from this book.

"All the secrets are out, you know it all, and finally I can give you all of me, if you still want it. I can tell you what I have felt for months, but haven't been able to say. I love you, Cambree Nikole Parker."

I was laughing through out this book. Especially when the prank wars started. They were so funny, they are such a crazy family, but a good crazy.

I cried while reading the first 2 books, this one had me laughing, until the epilogue. Leigh Ann had me needing tissues once again! Poor Dustin. I can't wait to read his story next. This is such a great series.

The third installment in the Parker Siblings saga, this is Cambree’s story.

Cambree is stubborn, hard-headed, and independent but she has a huge heart. She’s off at college, trying to find herself and establish herself apart from the Parker clan. When things spiral out of control, she realizes that at home with her family is really the only place she wants to be. After feeling like she had been betrayed by Max, she refuses to let her guard down and let him back in.

Max is torn between his feelings for Cambree and the need to protect her. He has a job to do but it’s become far more than a job to him. He’s determined to protect her at all costs and to break down her carefully constructed walls.

“Your home is your safety net, and when you find your home in another person’s arms there is no escaping it. You can run from it all you want, but once you stop hiding from it, the same arms will catch you and hold you up. That feeling….that never goes away if you’re that lucky.”

In this novel, all covers are blown and all secrets are out. Now they all just need to figure out how they feel about everything and how to proceed.

I’ve grown very attached to the Parker siblings over the span of these 3 novels. They are so dysfunctional but they are so real. They are far from a typical family but they make the best of it. Their banter is hilarious; and their stories are heartbreaking at times. Another roller coaster of emotions with both tears of laughter and sorrow. Just as captivating and entertaining as the first two, another must-read from author Leigh Ann Lunsford!

*Gifted by author in exchange for an honest review*

Cambree carefully guards her heart given that she has been to Hell and back. When Max comes into her life, she questions whether or not she can handle all that he makes her feel. Happiness has been short lived in her life and she is unsure if she is willing to risk putting her heart in harm’s way since Max broke her heart and now came back to her life to prove to her that he truly is sorry for what happened in the past.

Max has made up his mind, he wants Cambree in his life forever. He will do everything in his power to keep her safe. Does she feel the same way? Is she willing to take that risk with him again?

I am looking forward to reading more of Leigh Ann's books. I enjoyed the humor, angst, suspense and most of all the funny banters of the sisters.
Awesome job! Now I'm curious about Dustin's story for book 4?(winks)

I have found a new favorite author. Seriously. This series has been amazing and there aren’t enough words to express how deeply involved I feel in the story line. With each book I’ve read, I have loved it more than the last. Leigh Ann has an uncanny ability to weave multiple plot lines among numerous characters in a way that I’ve never seen before. None of her characters lose their identity even when it’s not their story – those with strong personalities remain strong in the background without taking over. She has managed to create a TRIBE of siblings and spouses (there are a ton of them) who are all so unique in their personalities - it is difficult to maintain those voices but Leigh Ann does so beautifully.

Not Hiding is the culmination of its two predecessors, Not Enough and Not Hiding, the suspense continues to build through this book leaving the reader in anticipation of book four, Not Over (can’t wait for Dustin!) but not feeling like you didn’t get resolution in this story. I laughed through a good portion of this book and rooted for Cambree and Max (each sibling captures my heart more than the previous one). I think that might be what draws me into this story – the sarcastic humor resonates for me and the reader finds humor in stressful scenes.

Leigh Ann Lunsford is absolutely a diamond waiting to be discovered. I can’t wait to see her take over the world of Romance. Mark my words – IT.IS.COMING! She will dominate!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Not Hiding is book #3 in The Parker Siblings and I have to admit it might be my favourite. The blurb gives you a great insight of what's to come with this book.
Not Hiding was filled with so much emotions, ups and downs, love, mystery and everything that makes a book great.

Cambree who is only 18 is faced with so much drama that it was unbelievable. She truly grew up and is trying to make a life of her own. I loved that she isn't afraid to speak up and her personality kind of reminds me of Brielle a little. Her story revolves around Max and some of the huddles they jumped to try to figure out what being in love is all about.
I would definitely recommend this series if you are looking to fall in love with some awesome characters.
Not Hiding will have you laughing, crying, cheering for the good guys and give you an all round feeling of love and shows the true meaning of family.

Again, A MUST READ SERIES....

This is my favorite of the Parker kids. Family is the be all and end all to all of them. Brielle keeps her sense of adventure even in all of these trying times. Addison is calm, cool and collected and ready to take on the world if you mess with her family. Dustin is with his parents, doing what he feels will keep everyone in the family safe. He finds Brent's daughter who has been abused since she 2 and has never been out of the house for 16 years. The guys (hubby) and Mitch and Max are trying to keep everyone safe. Mitch finally lets it slip that he is their brother and he needs them right now. Cambree is finding herself and Max is right there helping her and insinuating himself into her life because he loves and knows she loves him. Life gets real and the sh*t hits the fan and all hell breaks loose.

I found myself busting out loud laughing and then other times I would be crying and sobbing. Miss Leigh Ann you have me so emotional, I feel like I am PMS'ing it!! I will be reading these over and over again. Will there be another book? Dustin's story? Get Brent gone, with his due punishments. Would love more!!!!!

Not Hiding (Parker Siblings book 3)
Oh lordy another 5 star book from Leigh Ann Lunsford!!!! This is Cambree's and Max's story and these books keep getting better and better! Cambree is the baby sister of this clan and feels she is constantly in her sisters shadow. So she thinks if she Flys the nest and moves away for college she can find out who she is. She is also running from Max the boy who stole her heart then broke it. Max is not who he seems but what he felt for Cambree was real. Again this book entwined all characters that you have read and other ones that are still coming. The way she ties all of it together is amazing and I am loving this series. Some of the questions that you have are answered in this book but you still are left wanting more. I can't wait to read Not Over the final book in this series unfortunately. I highly recommend these books, they are absolutely amazing.

It was nice to meet back up with the Parker siblings and to get a chance to get to know Cambree and Max better. The jerk that I thought he was in Not Leaving was not the same character in this book. He was attentive, supportive, protective, and loving to Cambree.

"I am not Superman, but I will protect you; heart, mind, and body."

Of course there was more drama from Brent and his obsession with the whole Parker clan finally comes to a head (well sort of... no spoilers here) and we get a chance to meet Dustin's future love interest and see where the next and final book is going to go.

Cambree and Max!

I loved Cambree and Max's story! Cambree is the youngest girl of the Parker Siblings, the third child, a mixture of Brielle and Addison, and close protector of her brother! She is simply amazing and is trying to find her own individuality that sets her apart from her older sisters! Max was taken with her when he first met her, but because of secrets and lies he lost her and has to win her trust back while trying to protect her! This is a must read if you have read Brielle and Addison's stories!

After Cambree decides she needs time away from the lies and secrets, she goes away to college.
Max is torn up with guilt when Cambree is attacked. The one thing he has not told her could be the very thing that tears her entire family apart.
One again, Leigh Ann has written an amazing book. Beautifully written, I felt every emotion and all of the turmoil Cambree was feeling. It made me feel as though I was right with the siblings watching everything unfold.

This book and series has to be the best I've read so far this year. The Parker sibling series is phenomenal. There's humor, angst, smoking passion, and heartache. All of which make for an epic romance book. Book three concentrates on Cambree and Max's story. It happens to be a heartbreaking one, but not to give any spoilers you will have to read it to see how it resolves. Fantastic! Lots of luck to this ridiculously talented author. She shines brightly.

Living life confused by the shades of lies and half truths Cambree tries to find her self. Away from the shadow of her sibling, heartache and chaos. Not only is the experience not what she expected her entire world is about to get rocked. Will she find healing with her family & Max? Is there more to the situation? Will she finally be able to be happy?

NOT HIDING is thebthird installment of Parker Sibling, it is Cambree's and Max' story... As usual, Leigh Ann is so good in bringing out the characters/family all together.
This book made me laugh with how dysfunctional the Parker siblings sometimes, cry in some part...
One thing I love about all of Leigh's book is that they are always a HEA!
Great job again!

Not Hiding has got to be the best books of the Parker siblings series yet. This story follows Not Enough and Not Leaving by Leigh Ann Lundsford. It has the most interesting characters in it and it has mystery and love and above all laughter. You'll fall in love with the Parkers and their families and their hair-brain antics.
This is the story of Cambree. Cambree has grown into a sassy mouthed young woman almost as bad as Brielle. Shes stubborn as hell and is off to make a name for herself. She needs out of the shadows of her sisters. She is off to college and out to try to forget the man she loves and all the lies that come with him. She tries her hand at party life and she just cant look at herself in the mirror afterwards. This isnt for her at all.
Then the worst thing happens to her.. she is attacked and her knight in shining armour cant get to her soon enough. This has put the fear for her safety in her families eyes. They want her safe but she is determined to be on her own. She wants what her sisters have with their own husbands. She just cant seem to get over the one she thought she left behind.
Max is feeling pretty low since he couldnt save Cambree from the attack. But he vows he is going to get her back in his life no matter what. But will the secrets he holds pull them together again or will they push them further apart.
Brielle is back with a vengence this time to save her family from her past that just wont go away. She finds out the secrets that Mitch has held for so long and she is at a loss for not finding out sooner.
Addy has a heart to heart with Cambree about her sex life. It shocks the hell out of Brielle and Brielle thinks she needs to start praying for her sister, Cambree.
"You know you arent Catholic, right?" Colby
"Well since Addison just told our baby sister it was okay to spread her legs for any Tom , Dick, And Harry as long as she could look at herself in the mirror, I figured we could practice some religion, you know, to atone for her sins?" Cambree and Max go out on a date after this encounter with Addison and Brielle. Cambree continues to torment Brielle after their chat with snide texts to Brielle and then heres Max. He is so happy to see Cambree back to her normal sassy self.
Max goes to pick up Camy and finds her laughing she tells him she likes screwing with Brielle's head. Max tells her "I will take your word on screwing with Brielle; you can count me out of that game. I got a text from her as I was pulling up with the word 'castoration' and that was it. Want to explain?"
Dustin is bound and determined to save his sisters and do whatever it takes to keep them sage even though he is still so young. But he has discovered a deep secret while he is trying to get justice for his sister. Teryn.

Max is so really freaked out by this family. He is always asking Cambree if this is normal? I love the antics of this family. Brielle nothing but a firecracker. Addy is just loving and nurturing and Cambree well she is stubborn as hell and sassy to boot. You cant help but love this story and the characters in it. It kept me laughing and happy tears and a few sad ones but I COULDNT PUT IT DOWN!! You will love this book I give it 5+ stars and cant wait for the last installment of the Parker siblings.

Not Hiding by Leigh Ann Lunsford is the third book in the Parker Siblings series. The story continues where book 2 left off and while it has many different ongoing storylines it mainly focuses on Cambree Parker. Camy has been attacked and it has rocked the family. Mitch and Max are still trying to keep their secrets from getting out for everyone’s safety, but they are finding it harder and harder. Dustin is still not home where he belongs and it has taken a toll on everyone.

Cambree is sick and tired of everyone “protecting” her and assuming that she is weak. Brielle and Addison don’t realize that while they thought they were doing what was in Camy’s best interest they have in a way crippled her. She is stronger than anyone realizes. She is a kind, gentle, fun-loving girl, who is hysterical. Her quick quips made me laugh so hard I had tears running down my face. “I would like to high five them all…in the face…with a cast iron skillet”.

However, Camy has many sides to who she is and one of them is a very analytical. For her there doesn’t seem to be any in between which makes it difficult for the man who loves her, Max. “I am thankful she is such an amazing, strong, woman. What I am not thankful for is the way she over -analyzes everything as black and white. There is no grey with her and sometimes in life, there are situations that are grey. She needs to learn to color outside of the box, and I will teach her that”.

The love that Max feels for her is genuine and heartfelt, but with Camy trust is the most important thing. Once that has been broken it’s a long, rocky, path back into her life if ever. Poor Max is just caught in the middle of a no-win situation. As emotions and pressure continue to build Max & Mitch find themselves at the edge of the plank where they must sink or swim. In the midst of all the turmoil, secrets begin to come out and the results could have catastrophic consequences for everyone evolved.

The family wants Dustin home and safe, out of the clutches of their father and Brent, but when Dustin finds a reason to stay longer it may put everyone in danger, especially him.

Can the Parker siblings be reunited? Can they forgive the biggest secret of all when Mitch comes clean? Can Cambree and Max find their way back to each other and build a life? Will Dustin return home, and if he does will it ever be the same? Time will tell and I know Leigh Ann won’t let us down with the 4th and final installment Not Over. I can’t wait to get my hand and eyes moving on it.

Leigh Ann Lunsford is a brilliant author who more than anything makes me FEEL. She makes me feel love, laughter, sadness, hatred, and more emotions than sometimes I can handle which can often result in me giving her an unseen middle finger from my living room. I know that when I sit down to one of her books I better give myself the whole day because I won’t be able to put it down. I also consider on a regular basis sending her a bill for my ongoing need of Kleenex. The character development is thorough and intense. She gives incredible insight into her secondary characters so that you feel like you are part of a giant family and no matter who is in each book you are already connected. I hope to read from this author for years to come because without her novels the world of reading would be a little less bright. May her star never dim.

Favorite Quotes:

“Welcome to my world. Please exit the ride to the left, and keep your hands and feet in the ride at all times.”

NADBB  reviews book 3 in the Parker Sibling series and this time we thought we were better prepared with chocolate, Kleenex and  Lorena Bobbitt tools. <wink>

Synopsis:

Not Hiding is the story of eighteen-year-old Cambree Parker and the man who stole her heart, Max Baird.

His brother, Mitch, has known the family for a while. Because of a life-altering secret that Mitch has, Max keeps his distance from Cambree. However, an emergency has him rushing to her side where he intends to remain for the rest of their lives. Cambree is a sensitive young woman who has been hurt by the half-truths she received from her older sisters.

Review:

Not Hiding is a testament to love. It’s fragile and beautiful and, when nurtured, it can make us feel as if we've found our other half. When the bond is broken, you’re snapped back to reality in painful clarity. This story shows us the detriment of secrets and that trust is the cornerstone of intimacy.

Not Hiding gives us the meaning of family and the definition of the family that laughs together, stays together. Please don’t mistake that. There are many sad moments, but the Parkers’ sense of humor and fearless zest for life gets them through every time.

Max is commendable because he wants to stand by his older brother, but in doing so, he risks losing Cambree again. That isn’t acceptable to him and I appreciated the fine line he had to balance. All in all, this is a good, solid read, filled with Leigh Ann-isms that I've quickly become addicted to.

The Good:

         1. Cambree Parker is a sensible girl who appreciates everything her sisters have done for her. She’s very fair-minded, respects everyone’s feelings, but, most of all, she respects herself. She’s refreshing and lovable.

         2.  Max Baird is sexy and protective. He knows he fucked up by not being upfront with her, all to protect his brother, and decides enough is enough. I loved how much he fit right in with all the Parkers and went out of his way to make Cambree happy.

The Bad:

         1.  The dates in the book, which was just my personal nit-picky thing. It was hard to read about them in February 2019 and think of this happening in “the present” to the characters. I would've preferred not to have any dates, than to have that. As I said, that was just my thing.

Final rating: A solid 4.5

I don’t even know where to begin. I love the Parker clan like they are my own family. I couldn’t wait to read this book and find out what was happening with Cambree and if the secrets would be revealed. Leigh Ann has a way of grabbing you and putting you right into the story. I love how real everyone is and the way they are just who they are, no sugar coating. This book we learn more about Cambree and what makes her, her. She knew she loved Max but she warned him time after time no lying; even with holding things was a big NO. Can they get past what has happened and find their way back to each other? Cambree knows in her heart what she wants but can she make her head follow?
I love all the emotions I go through while reading Leigh Ann’s words, one page you might be laughing your ass off and the next page you’ll be holding your breath. We get a look at everyone and I feel that Tyler has fully redeemed himself in this book. He may have won Addison’s heart back in Not Leaving and rooted himself back into the Parker clan but I still wasn’t on board with him. He reaches Cambree in a way that she needed to be reached and I fell in love with him for that. Brielle is her sassy self and is determined to make sure Mitch knows she’s in charge. Even though she knows he’s probably right in some instances. Dustin is becoming his own person in this story and I can’t wait to see how his story unfolds.
I love these characters and their story, I start reading and I am carried away to their crazy world and I fit right in with all the madness. It feels so real and not any fluffy, hard to believe s***. Leigh Ann really has a way with words and she puts all her heart into these characters and their story so much that you can feel it as you read.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read that’s full of emotion and laugh out loud scenes! I really wish I could give this book more than 5 stars but I can’t. I’m excitingly waiting for book four so I can read more about the Parker clan! Great job Leigh Ann, you are an amazing writer!!

This book gutted me. I knew after the events that concluded Not Leaving that this was going to be the most emotionally charged in the series yet. This book is the story of Cambree, the youngest Parker sister. I've been wanting and waiting to get her story since the first book in the series. I knew it was going to be intense but I wasn't quite prepared for the ride I was taken on.

Not Hiding also gives us more background on Mitch, who we met in Not Leaving, and his brother Max. Cambree and Max dated for a while until some secrets came to light and Cambree couldn't and wouldn't try to handle it. Even though she was in love with him. Little does she know that he is staying close, but in the shadows as a means to help protect her from the escalating threat of Brent. But there are also more secrets surrounding that plot line as well. She has left for college and is trying to find her own path, without the shadows of her sisters.

When Cambree is put in danger, it it Max to the rescue and from there, it is game on. He vows to do whatever he has to to get his woman back. He will stop at nothing to bring the man who has been hurting her family to justice. He refuses to lie to and hide the truth from her anymore but this can and did cause some other obstacles for them to overcome. His unrelenting patience and charm made me want to high-five him when he FINALLY got though to Cambree. Of course, he had some help in the form of Brielle, Tyler, Addy and Colby.

Again, the whole Parker clan is mixed throughout the book. The unity and love between this family is so strong, it makes me want to be a part of it. It was also nice to see some lightheartedness among the siblings considering all the unknown that surrounds them. As the drama unfolds and secrets are revealed, no one is left unscathed. At one point, I thought there was going to finally be a happy conclusion but no, we were left with another heart stopping cliffhanger. This time setting up the final book, Dustin's story.

“Not Hiding” is the third book in the Parker Sibling Series and is about Cambree and Max. This was my favorite book in the series so far. Leigh Ann has done it again with the great cast of characters; it is so refreshing to read about characters that are so real. I absolutely love the witty and sassy banter between the characters. At this point in the series I feel like I am part of the Parker family. I feel like I know them so well because the books have everyone’s POV in them.

Cambree is a stubborn and independent young woman who is trying to get out of the shadows of her sisters. She is at college trying to forget the man she loves and the lies that came with him. She tries to live the party life at college but can’t seem to look at herself in the mirror afterwards. Then she is attacked and Max feels guilty because he was suppose to be protecting her and didn’t get to her in time. Cambree loves Max and is scared by the feelings she has whenever he is near her.

Can Cambree get past all the lies and find her happily ever after?

After the attack Max realizes that he wants Cambree back in his life and will do whatever necessary to get her back. He vows to do everything in his power to keep her safe and out of harms way. Max tries to make Cambree see the truth but she is hardheaded and won’t listen. You see the love that Max has for Cambree, no matter how hard she tries to push him away he won’t back down in his efforts to win her back.

Will Max get his girl in the end?

I cannot wait for the fourth book about Dustin. This is a must read series!! I have found a new author to add to my favorites…Leigh Ann Lunsford, you are simply AMAZING!!!!
