Being away from Delilah…yeah, that didn’t work out so well for me. It’d been THREE months since she went to Glory’s Place, the women’s shelter for abused women. I wasn’t allowed to see her, or even visit.
My anxiety was at full force, my concentration was nonexistent. Centering myself was hard. Nothing I did helped my control, and I was quickly losing my mind.
The one thing I needed, to get my head on straight, was not something I’d ever ask of her. How do you ask your lover, who’d been in an abusive relationship for the past four years, to strike you with a leather strap? How could you tell her that feeling the leather kiss your skin was the best sort of therapy you’d ever received.
I had no answer for that, and I prayed that Delilah would understand my need without leaving me….again.

Theresa is a mother of two and the wife of a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. After seventeen years traveling the country, moving from base to base, the family has settled their roots back in Theresa’s home town of Olive Branch, MS., where she enjoys her time with old friends and family.

Theresa daydreams of the perfect love affair and takes those ideas to paper.

I have cried reading her other books. this one was no different. I related to the main characters so much so it was just a book I threw myself into. I don't know how she manages to outdo herself each time but this book hit that spot. 5 stars across the board. keep doin what you do cause you are an amazing author :)

I have to say this was one of my favorite ones in the glory days series I found myself heartbroken for the characters and just rooting for them to be happy I can't say much so I don't give it away but OMG amazing must read!!!!
