A Fast and Furious Deiselpunk blend!

Allison M. Dickson paints her noir setting early on and with the perfect amount of pastiche to capture a fun, 1940s gumshoe flick. Dialogue and body language deliver a caste of remarkable characters who are sure to invoke emotion, from victimized actresses to scandalous goons. This is a fun and very visual interlude in the Colt Coltrane series. It also features Petey, one of my favorite characters ever. I recommend this series, and don't miss this episode - after all, a dame's life could be on the line.

Another terrific story about Colt Coltrane. Allison Dickson is very comfortable with her characters. I personally cannot wait for the next edition in 2015.
