A very good and convicting resource not only for those currently in the position of Elder, but for those seeking the Lord’s will in the ministry.

I'm grateful to the student who recommended this. It's a simple read, yet helpful in categorizing churches and ministers. The best part of the book is the attention to "Calling." Mims reminds us that we called to God--not to a specific task (we can be sent to that). First, foremost, we are God's and faithfulness to Him is what must be maintained.

Entertaining, insightful. Good words for any book.

I have gone to several churches and been absolutely frustrated and never felt on the same page. This book helped me understand how God has made me and then how I could find a church where He wanted me to serve.
