A Woman at War
Moore was the only journalist to accompany a senior commanding general as he led his troops into battle. Her book is an account of the war as she lived it by the side of Walter E. Boomer, the top Marine general, as well as the unique story of a woman inside the Gulf War military machine. This is Operation Desert Storm as it was not seen on TV. Photos.

Read
October 27, 2012Thought the title was a bit of a stretch. Otherwise, it was very well written; an excellent account of the "supporting attack" executed by the Marines. Also shed light on war journalism and the relationship between the military and the media. An overall good read.

I read this book several years ago. It is written by my daughter-in-law's aunt. Quite interesting.
