Emma Matthews was supposed to be on her honeymoon for the Christmas holiday.
Now, she’s driving a getaway car… up a mountain… in a snow storm.
And while she might not miss the scientifically-matched pack she left behind quite as much as she should, she definitely misses her phone charger. Especially when she veers off course and drives into a snow bank.
But it’s okay! She’s fine! After all, a positive attitude is the most important thing a girl can have—especially when she wakes up in a cabin full of strange alphas… who think they’re her mates.

All four of them: one hot-shot hockey star, a teddy bear firefighter, the famously naked chef, and a grumpy mountain man with the world’s sweetest dog.
If they seem like an impossible combination, it’s because they are. Turns out, these guys aren’t just strangers to her—they’ve also never met each other. Now, they have to decide if they want to stay together and make her their omega or continue on their separate ways.
Emma has never been anyone’s first choice—and she knows it might take a Christmas miracle to work things out. But, lucky for her, she has a whole list of ideas…

This one was the sweetest!

I loved watching them fall in love with her and with each other.

I will never understand the Daddy thing or ever want to hear about their past hookups, but this story overwhelmed me with its sweetness and poignancy. I definitely teared up a lot.

I definitely have to suspend disbelief because of the amount of liquid everywhere all the time! I can't think of how squishy their bed would be. Must be like a swamp. However, I will pretend that everything dries quickly and cleanly and comfortably.

Not light hearted or low angst because all I was feeling was angst as Emma just ignored and forgave the horrible abuse she received from Meg and her pack on her freaking wedding day. Well rehearsal but still... Meg was so selfish and dramatic and got away with it. While Emma had to deal with her real life problems alone. That betrayal was awful and there was no grovel.

I liked this but it was missing so much. Meg and her pack crossed so many lines in the beginning. Making Emma's wedding/mating day about Meg and her drama (and thats literally all it was, drama, nothing was happening to her). Her entire pack was disgusting and cruel to Emma while she(emma) is standing there crying, all because their mate is crying? For no reason? They even slammed a door open into her face hitting her and didn't apologize. Her own brother barked at her WHILE SHE WAS CRYING, ON! HER! WEDDING! DAY! And NOT ONE of them noticed she was missing till well after midnight. And all they did was text to say sorry and send pajamas?
No real confrontation with the pack who did her wrong and stole her money. There was just no closure for the plot line that literally set the premise for the whole book. Made me dislike Meg and her pack completely and ruined my respect for them and ruined the entire series because now I can never reread it and enjoy it without thinking how those alphas and Meg treated their family member on her wedding day.

Something Missing

**not a spoiler free review**

I have loved all of the books in this series so far, and re-read 2 and 3 ALL THE TIME. Book 1 was my least favorite so far, but I really felt like Ari hit her stride after that. I was so excited for this one to come out I was counting down the days. Now that I read it though, I feel like something was missing. A couple of plot points were left unresolved and they are bothering me.

Theo, from book 1 is this omega’s (Emma) brother. He was a total sweetheart and adored his sisters when we met him but during Emma’s wedding and when she is very obviously upset, he BARKS at her and makes her leave. It’s not only totally out of character, as she says he has never barked at her before, but it’s not really talked about in a satisfactory way. Sure, he texts an apology, but is that really sufficient? Poor Emma felt like she was the least important member of her family and needed to have that conversation with Theo and the rest of them.

Meg (also from book 1) was SUPER annoying throughout the whole book. She spends the first couple of chapters sobbing and creating chaos for her alphas, which causes tension for everyone else. Poor Emma is just shoved aside. (Like always). Again, she apologizes via text and by sending some Christmas pajamas. It just didn’t feel like enough. I understand that it was the catalyst to get Emma out of the room to hear what her original pack thought about her, but that seems cheap.

I really did end up liking all these alphas, but of all the stories that didn’t need more MM than the casual touches of the others, it was this one. Emma has been overlooked her whole life and says multiple times that she has never been anyone’s first choice or main focus. The balance of the MM relationship would have to be perfect for it to work in this story specifically and I just didn’t feel like it hit the mark. A lot of the story included Zane and Gunnar realizing their feelings for each other and all the other POVs were everyone else noticing the feelings between the two of them. Pretty much every spicy scene included one or both of their POVs where they were focused on each other. I know in Remi’s story (book 2) she declines to see packs with betas because she doesn’t want to split attention. I think this should have been a similar vibe. I mean, Gunnar wins the Stanley cup and both Zane and Emma are there and he and Zane go straight for each other, leaving Emma alone. I do think the two alphas worked together and I enjoyed seeing them fall for each other, but it just didn’t work for me in the broader context of the story.

I really wanted the mean pack from the beginning to get what was coming to them. They deserved way worse than what happened.

Will I buy it to support the author? Yeah. Will I read it over and over like Remi and Serena’s stories? Nope.

Tropes: why choose MMFMM omegaverse, fated mates, small town/cozy vibes, snowed in, one bed, age gap, grumpy x sunshine, runaway bride, golden retriever chef influencer, cinnamon roll firefighter, mountain man daddy, hot shot hockey player, big brother’s friend, hurt/comfort, found family.
Rating: 4.75✨

I’ve read the first two books of this series and I honestly struggled with them. I’ll admit that I didn’t have high expectations for this novel, but I have to say that I’m genuinely surprised because I really enjoyed this book!

I could see some things of my self in Emma and I really loved her.
To be honest, I loved all the MCs so it’s kind of hard to pick a favorite in this one. But if I have to choose, and I have to, I guess daddy Knox has to be the one!
No, but seriously, these alphas were all top tier!

The mating bond scene was written so beautifully that I’m not ashamed to admit that I teared up a little!

**** SPOILER ALERT ****

The are three things that bothered me a bit.
The first one is that we didn’t get to see the meeting with the pack and Theo, but most of all, we didn’t see him apologize for real to Emma. The second one is that we missed the meeting with Patrick and his pack as well. Last but not least, that we didn’t see daddy Knox take care of the pack that wanted to scam Emma.

P.S. McKinley was the perfect sidekick for Knox and I really loved him. He was so adorable!

It was an extremely fluffy and pretty low-stakes omegaverse why choose. It's definitely Christmas themed and super smutty. This got me in the Christmas spirit, but the plot was lacking a little. The male main characters were all pretty interesting, but I thought the female main character, Emma, was really dumb (which she says at the start of the book by breaking the 4th wall to tell readers that she is TSTL).

This omegaverse had the characters behaving a little tooo animalistic for my tastes. I felt like the male main characters were talking to a puppy when they were talking to the female main character. It felt a little off. However, I read it quickly. I liked the relationship between Zane and Gunnar, but I kinda thought it didn't really work that well in this specific book. It felt very rushed, and I was surprised by how OK with it Emma was considering all of her other insecurities. I kinda wanted to see a slower burn for Zane and Gunnar, but it began so late in the book that it had to be rushed. Emma makes a big point of saying how no one has ever just chosen her/she's never been anyone's #1, so I thought it was strange that she was so OK with 2 of her mates falling for each other too, but whatever.

Knox and Micah were my favorite characters. I really loved the found family trope in this book. I loved seeing them build a pack from scratch - I don't think I've ever seen that done in an omegaverse before. It was fun getting to read the conversation between the male main characters with them deciding to be a pack. I loved grumpy Knox finding people to care for, and I loved how Micah really was the glue that held them all together. Emma was very childish, but the male main characters had perfect chemistry together. Overall, it's an OK book.

I need to take a break from omegaverse for a while because they're all starting to blend together. I've read entire passages of this written in other omegaverse books with just a random word here or there changed. That's a problem.

i have arc read every book in this series except one because i missed the sign ups and i hope to read many many many MANY more of them.

Ari Wright just knows how to write a relatable h in every book and idk what that says about me as a person, but i love it 😂😂😂😂 seeing her omegas find love and get taken care of emotionally AND physically is *chefs kiss* gold.

there is a formula she tends to follow with one alpha being a virgin or celibate for a LONG time, two manwhores, and one that only volunteered for heat clinics but she doesn’t have ow drama really so i can over look the sluts 😂 especially because they LOVE their omega instantly. and these alphas are no exception.

i LOVVVVVVVEEEEE when an omega brings alphas together to form a pack (dare i say more than her coming into an already established pack) and seeing these headstrong men do anything to make her happy warms my heart.

this was low angst, a lot of sexy times (some sword crossing 😏😏😏), not as sad as the last book, but still got me in my feelings.

my only complaint is that i needed to SEE the downfall of the other “pack” that tried to use her in the beginning. i needed them to sufferrrrrrrrr and it be described in great detail 😂 AND i needed my *usually* sweet FORMER favorite alpha in this series Theo to get punched after he barked at his sister and was so mean to her when she needed him 😒😒😒 im going to hold that grudge and knock him down to third place in my favorite alphas 😡

How does one go about rating a human omegaverse fiction romance?

3.5 💫 If you want:
🔥RH/Why-choose EROTICA (yes with capital letters)
🎄Christmas rom-com (that is HILARIOUS)
☃️Snowed In
🪵Very grumpy Mountain-man Daddy (like very very, but the sweetest soul)
🫂Comfort, Found family, and vulnerable MCs
👨🏻‍🚒a firefighter team-maker
🏒hockey cutie struggling with grief,
and my favourite, 👨🏻‍🍳a knotty chef
Then this book is for you.

Emma is the kind of FMC you would have double feelings for. She is insecure and has attachment issues for good reasons. I personally like reading this type of FMC sometimes, especially when it is authentically written. I do, however, get annoyed when this goes on for longer than necessary.
In this one, it does take Emma some time to gain that confidence, and her insecure moments subside, but it persists for almost the entirety of the book.
She's too forgiving IMO.
She's also smart, and though we catch some moments, the book is more about her being taken care of and them being MEN OBSESSED.

The MM relationship building is one of my favourite aspects of this romance.
And the message exchanges? I was literally laughing my ass off.
Could have been 100 pages shorter though.

I have received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute sweet omegaverse story that was an interesting take - a group of strangers meeting in the middle of a winter storm, all of them being scent-matches to the omega also stuck. It's a bit overly coincidental (or fated, since that's kind of the idea with fated mates / scent matches), but was also not a trope I've come across before. It was interesting and fun to see how these 5 very different people made it work as the story unfolds.

Emma was the FMC, and she was not just a Sunshine-type, she was SUPER sunshine. It made her a little TSTL sometimes - something that she admits in her narrative - because she was always willing to see the best in people, hope for the best as things moved along. It makes her easy to manipulate, which brings us to the start point of this book: she'd been manipulated by a really shitty pack and it is the night before her wedding / bond ceremony to them. Fortunately, she overhears them talking about her with disdain, which removes the blinders and she gets the fuck out of there...driving off into a snowstorm, and kicking off the meet-cute with her real mates.

I enjoyed it, and even cried a few times as characters shared their broken bits.

The only downside - which isn't really a flaw with this story - was her brother's pack was so shitty (her brother and their omega, Meg, most of all, imo) that I don't have even the teeniest interest in reading about them, and apparently they are book 1 in this series (I didn't realize this was the 4th book in a series when I snagged it ... fortunately, they stand alone and it didn't matter, other than putting me off reading the others). Here's what happens there:

And that is unforgivable. She didn't do ANYTHING wrong, and was just shit on by everyone for their own bullshit choices. I hated, honestly, how she talked about her big happy family. They were a big pile of shitheads who treat her like a background character in their world, a nonentity who needs to stay out of the way and understand that only they - and Perfect Meg - are worthy of attention, even if it is her room or her wedding. I honestly loathe them all.

So I won't be doubling back to read the other books in the series. And I don't know that I'll read whatever is next. I liked this one a lot, but I'm skeptical of everyone else in Emma's life, who happily steamrolled her forever until she felt like such a second-class citizen that she doesn't even realize how bad her new pack is, because that's NORMAL to her. And the books in the series all seem to be connected via these people all being friends and family with each other. The rest of them suck, so I'm not going to bother.

Honestly this whole series is just a joy. The author manages to write FMCs who are strong, individual and likeable despite what might be undesirable personality traits. Take Emma in this book: clumsy, overeager, overly optimistic, happy in such a simple, almost child-like way. She could have been so annoying but she was just delightful . Her arranged pack were so awful and my heart just broke for her at how unworthy she generally felt just because of the kind of person she was

All of the MMCs had delightfully distinct personalities, each with their own depth and the relationship between Gunnar and Zane added that extra little bit of 🔥

Loved this. Just an awesome example of omegaverse done well.

I want to go back and re-read the rest now 😊

I tried on 5 or more occasions to force myself to push through this book. I really loved the author's first dive into omegaverse but the last book felt like it was trying to hard to copy Devyn Sinclair's style with all the kinks. This one was reminiscent of author I won't name because I dislike her overuse of nicknames but I can't tell why Wright's style feels like it's changing to mimic others but it's not for me.

I'll bid my ado here to her future works. Mainly leaving a review to remind myself why she's on my no read list.

I have been looking forward to this book since it's been announced and was THRILLED to get it early!

First off, this is yet another cute, adorable, and funny omegaverse by Ari. It fits perfectly into the MVP series, but has a fun little holiday twist to it.

I really enjoyed the characters. Emma is very relatable and endearing. Sometimes, when FMC are described as "different, not perfect, etc" it gives a little pick me energy, but I didn't get that vibe from her at all. I loved her and felt fiercely protective.

I loved all the MMC. I like that we got variety, so it was easy to tell them apart. Zane had me cackling. I loved his background as a spicy foodie tiktoker. All the group chats about his videos were killing me. Gunner was also extremely adorable, and see him trying to work thru his grief tugged at all my heartstrings. Micah was definitely the glue that holds them all together. And of course Knox, our alpha.

This book did not have an established pack so it was fun to watch the dynamics build and unfold. Tons of laughter, and a little competition. I normally am not a huge fan of why choose's where the men aren't established first, I usually always find there is some favoritism in the group and someone always gets less attention, but this did that dynamic well and I do not feel like anyone got left out.

The spice was immaculate and we were fed well. This book does have a daddy kink like one of Ari's previous books, which admittedly isn't really my jam. But it wasn't excessive so I was able to just skim around it.

The only reason this wasn't a five star read for me was, Emma deserved way more justice and revenge for how she was treated in the beginning. The confrontation with her previous pack was meh. I wanted so much moreeeee. I get this is a lighter story, and she had discovered her worth by then and was happy. But come on. I needed more. Also with how her family treated her? Absolutely not. I so wanted her pack to put her brother and his pack in their place (Theo's pack definitely needed to give a full apology). Her friends and her brother were so selfish and there was never a good enough apology made. It made me so angry. If those two aspects had been in the book, this would have been five stars.

But in the end, another great read from Ari! Highly recommend!

*changed from 3* to 2* upon reflection*

While this was good it felt rushed and unfinished.
I would have liked to have seen scenes between Emma and Meg where they discussed the wedding and the incident before the wedding, Emma meeting Meg’s baby for the first time, a conversation between Theo and Gunnar, the call with Ronan Ash regarding the trust and Gunnar talking to Emma about his mom to name a few scenes I felt were missing from the book.
Also the characters weren’t that fleshed out, I wanted to know more about them all, feel like we saw loads about Emma and not much about the men.

It was a cutesy holiday/ winter read but it wasn’t my favourite book by any means. Hopefully the next MVP book Ari puts out is better, or maybe the popularity has gotten to her head.

Cute fun read. I liked how they were not all together in the beginning. I'm normally not a huge fan of stories with a dizzy, naive heroine, and there were a couple of times where this book reminded me that dealing with someone whose emotions fluctuate greatly and quickly is exhausting.

Honestly was disappointed with this one, I enjoyed the last few in the series. I felt like everyone treated Emma like a small child when she's a grown woman, I mean Gunnar's nickname for her is "squirt"... which is problematic for other reasons (WHY IS THAT HER NICKNAME).

I feel like there was no resolution with the other pack or with her brother and his pack (who should both have honestly had their asses collectively handed to them).

Emma is also so two-dimensional, like we get it you are bubbly and slightly oblivious, but you also have a master's degree??? you are smart??? you have other thoughts ????????????????? Why on earth does she think they're surprising her by telling her she's pregnant???? YOU WOULD KNOW????????

The longer I sit and write this review, the more frustrated I get with the story. Only getting 2 stars because I finished it.

4.75 ⭐️ This book's my favourite in the whole series!

This was my Xmas pick fot this year, and it did not disappoint! I had already read all other books in this series, but I decided to skip this one and save it for this week. And I was right! This is the perfect wintery, christmasy book. And it's honestly the best book in the series too. With the MMCs in past books, I have had trouble sometimes remembering the differences between them, but here, everyone had such a clear space and personality... I honestly think my least favourite part was the FMC! And Emma's great! But she's so insecure and meek for most of the book. I like strong heroines, and even though she is strong for fighting and believing in what she wants fot herself, there are so many instances where, without external reasurance, Im convinced she would have crumpled and withered.

Still, this story is sweet, and sooo spicy! I'd forgotten how amazing Ari Wright is at what she does. I will NOT be forgetting again. She's quickly becoming one of the few auto-read / auto-buy authors I keep, because I know she delivers every time! Reading one of her book always has me itching to pick up a second one. Or in this case, since the next xmas book on the series isn't coming out until 2026 *i'm crying*, I'm going to read the extra chapter available through her mailing list.

Overall, though, this is THE perfect omegaverse book for this Christmas week, and I cannot reccomend it enough!

🌶🌶🌶🌶/5 - This also might be my favourite in the series because we have some MM romance in the mix, but for about 90% eveything is focused on her. Like anything she wants, she gets and then some! Also, you know, the list idea was cute!

Okay minimal spoilers…I can do this!

This book is just 🤌🏻 perfection!
I am 100% obsessed with the vibes! I love Em so much, but the real pull from this book is that I don’t have a favorite guy I love them ALL equally (which normally from Ari’s books I’ve got just one man that’s just a little higher but nope not this one)

Em is so sweet and adorable I love the way she is, and how no matter how many times in the past she was told she’s too much she still shines and is herself (even when it’s hard)

*Knox 🥵 man I need a mountain man daddy 🤣 I love this man so much he is so strong and steadfast
*Micah (probably my FAVORITE scent) is strong but so compassionate and the biggest supporter! 🫠 and he’s a firefighter!!
*Zane is our lovable golden retriever energy (because you know we need one) but he hides so much hurt and pain that speaks to Em
*Gunner our hockey player who is dealing with so much but fills out the pack in such a perfect way (and for more than just Em!)

The Beckett pack is probably my favorite 🫣 don’t hate me this was just the perfect book I needed in this moment.
This book has me obsessed with everything but so much of the vibes is just spot on and amazing!
While there is some heavy topics it is such a fun and light read that is full of holiday fun and of course an HEA!!

I am beyond lucky to have been able to ARC read this!

I’ll be forever grateful to my bestie Melissa for stopping mid read of Knot Her Goal to tell me to download it and read it, leading to my amazing obsession with these books and my friendship with Ari! 🫶🏻

This was a reread for me. This is my review after my first read: Loved everything! No remarks. My favorite of the bunch (so far). And I stand by this. While rereading, I was struck by just how purposefully these men worked to give Emma the reassurance and acceptance she needed and wanted. Emma has a lot of negative self-talk that comes from a few different sources. These MMCs turn everything that she is self-conscious about and has learned to not like about herself into a positive and something they love. This is a snowed-in trope, and it felt a little bit like time held no meaning. There’s also pack building. At first, it seems these MMCs wouldn’t work together, but they slowly learn to lean on each other and that each provides something different to Emma and the potential pack. Very excited to get the next book in June!

I've enjoyed this series, but felt this one was slightly weaker than the rest.

Emma's brother Theo and the Ash pack were assholes in the beginning and I felt this was swept under the rug VERY quickly, and obviously the original Alphas in this one also were pretty horrible, but Emma seems to be able to forgive fast with minimal apologies or even none. All I can say is if my brother and/or his family treated me the way they did Emma, then it would have required more than a quick text from him.

I also felt this moved very fast, with scenes jumping time but also felt like it dragged on a bit too. It felt a little unnecessarily long winded in places.

But if you're looking for a smutty, omegaverse RH, you'll have a good time with this one!

• Omegaverse
• Found family
• Runaway Bride
• Hurt/comfort
• Well Balanced pack

There are many things I love about Ari Wright's writing, especially when it comes to her Omegaverse books! But how well she balances her packs is at the top of that list. NO ONE ever blends together and everyone always fits so well together. I have LOVED this series. And this book was a wonderful addition to this series.

About:
Emma is a bride on the run from a rough situation. Always feeling like she's an embarrassment or burden to the people in her life. She decides to get away from it all and finds herself stranded and snowed in with 4 alphas she's immediately drawn to! Between the four of them, they teach her what it's like to be the center of a pack and what it feels like to be worshipped.

I loved each of these alphas so much!! Knox was a broody recluse who had been burned by previously putting himself out there with a pack and was determined for that never to happen again. Micah was a sexy firefighter and an incredible caretaker. I loved his instant chemistry with Emma. Zane was a popular chef on social media known as "The Knotty Chef". I loved his playful personality. Gunnar is a professional hockey player who didn't make the best first impression with Emma. Together all of these guys fit so perfectly. They work as a team to give Emma the pack she deserves.

I can't wait for what Ari Wright is working on next with her Omegaverse books!!! 👏 She's become one of my favorite Omegaverse authors and I'm so honored to be on her ARC team!

ARC Review - 4⭐️

Her Knotty List is book 4 in the Most Valuable Pack series’s featuring alphas Gunnar Sinclair, Knox Beckett, Zane Madani and Micah Patterson; and omega Emma Matthews.

Emma was set to marry a pack with 2 alphas and 1 beta, but after overhearing them bad mouthing her before the rehearsal dinner, she fleas the venue and the only one to see her leave is her brothers best friend Gunnar, who decides to follow her.

She winds up in a winter storm and has an accident. Both Knox and Zane stumble upon her and firefighter Micah also attends the scene. They take her back to Knox’s house and are all suddenly shocked to determine she’s an omega - who also seems to be their mate.

Gunnar having tracked her town also shows up at Knox’s, also discovers that he and Emma are mates. But will 4 strong willed alphas be able to mate for life with this timid little omega and form a pack or will they all go their separate ways?

This is an omegaverse book and this was a completely new genre for me! While It took sometime to grasp the concept, this book was able to keep me hooked and interested and I found myself engaged and wanting to know more ! I have never read any of Ari’s previous stories but I would be interested in doing so in the future !

Thank you Ari Wright and The Author Agency for the ARC opportunity !

This was entertaining but I was mostly invested in the relationship between the two alphas, which we didn’t get much off until the end so it’s meh. The FMC is okay and I didn’t care about the two other MMC.

The spice was very good though.

Ari’s sparkle truly shines in this snowed-in holiday romance! If you’re craving a story with three swoon-worthy book boyfriends who all adore the same heroine (without the drama of a love triangle), this one deserves a top spot on your TBR.

Ari has a talent for writing characters shaped by trauma, who guard their hearts until they find a connection—or a little holiday magic. The multiple POVs in this story beautifully deepen the plot, giving you a full, heartfelt perspective from each character.

Tropes you’ll love:

❄️ One Bed

❄️ Snowed In

❄️ Omegaverse

❄️ Second Chance

❄️ Found Family

Curl up with Her Knotty List this holiday season, a warm beverage in hand, and a cozy blanket wrapped around you. It’s the perfect addition to your Kindle library!

Thank you to Ari for the advanced reader copy. These are my honest views.

I really enjoyed this snowed in holiday omegaverse. Zane and Gunnar’s relationship was so freaking cute. This series has been so much fun to read. I genuinely cannot wait to read more from this author!
