There were some good tidbits in this, especially around motivation and being outward looking. However, there was far too much fluff as filler (old news articles; sweepingly broad descriptions of other countries' education systems; pages dedicated to Ofsted reports etc.)

Book is written from a British schools perspective making it difficult for me to relate to all the different ideas. Also I feel like I've finished the book without any real immediate take-aways for my school or class. Given the title, I anticipated more strategies and ideas for pushing your school to innovation and I don't think that is what I read in this book.
