1,167 books394 followersI grew up on a small farm on the outskirts of Sydney and as a keen horse rider, often competed in local gymkhanas and even broke in a few horses from time to time. As I was surrounded by animals, I decided at an early age to become a nurse, however I couldn’t stand the sight of blood and so opted for a career in teaching. It’s a bit ironic that I married a surgeon.
I read my first Mills & Boon novel when I was 17 and that encouraged me to continue reading romance novels; the lure of the tall dark handsome hero, who in reality I fell in love with and knew I was going to marry on our second date! After marrying a year later, we moved to Scotland with our six week old baby so my husband could work and study for his MD in surgery. After the birth of our second son we came back to Australia to settle in Tasmania.
I went back to University and up-graded my teaching diploma to a degree and then went on to do a Masters but still I felt as if something was missing. I sat down one day and began writing and everything clicked into place - I had finally found ‘my brilliant career’! I used to write from instinct rather than a specific plan, but now, so many books later I find a loose plan doesn't go astray. An idea will pop into my head, sometimes it will be just a simple phrase or a what if question and I'm away.
Writing is a skill that can be learned and the best way to learn it is to read and to write. So many people feel they have a novel in them and very probably they are right-the only trick is to get it out. My advice to ‘would be’ writers is to write, write, and write even more. Carry a notebook at all times and jot down ideas. And like any other activity the more you do, the more it feels comfortable.

Notorious playboy Lucca Chatsfield is a favorite with the tabloids, known for his wild escapades. Lucca receives a warning via his father's new CEO that Lucca must clean up his act and stop shaming the family name or else he will not receive any more money from the Chatsfield Family Trust. Lucca is assigned to work for a month at the Chatsfield Hotel on the small island principality of Preitalle in the Mediterranean, off the coast of Monte Carlo. He is to help Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte (Lottie) plan her sister's wedding since the reception is to be held at the Chatsfield Hotel. Lucca is none too happy about this assignment, but since he has business to do in Monte Carlo anyway, he figures he can get that done at least. Prim and proper Lottie is less than thrilled to be working with Lucca, as well, not only because of his reputation, but because she wanted to plan the perfect wedding for her sister on her own and she doesn't want some playboy who knows nothing of weddings spoiling her well-made plans. What the two of them don't count on is the sparks that fly between them from the moment they meet.
I absolutely loved this book and I loved the main characters. Lucca - sexy and scandalous with his devil-may-care attitude. He never wants to be tied down. Lottie - prim and proper, always doing the right thing while staying as far away from the paparazzi as she possibly can. Lucca and Lottie had fantastic chemistry and their banter was hilarious. They made an adorably endearing couple. I loved how Lucca was so protective of Lottie, and how with Lucca, Lottie came out of her shell and started to live life to the fullest. This was such a wonderful and fun, fast-paced romance of opposites attracting.

"Playboy's Lesson" is the story of Lottie and Lucca.
My emotion after reading this: Blah
The plot is as follows:
-The H is an extreme tomcat playboy, who's not gone more than a day without sex since his teenage years
-He gets an ultimatum from his father to help out a royal wedding, or he'd be out of his trust fund
-Enter Lottie, the young dowdy princess who is helping her older perfect sister Madeline plan her dream wedding
-Lucca is chosen to assist Lottie
-They have 100 pages of banter. He came off as obnoxious and annoying, she came off as controlling and uptight
-Apparently they have wild attraction
-A planning trip leads to a hotel, where they finally decide to have a ONS which turns into a sexathon
-He has a secret talent which she discovers
-The's a photo leak situation which is a deja vu for the h, as it is what had put her off men in the past
-The sister is giant shrewd bitch
-Abrupt confessions and HFN
Really disliked pretty much everyone in this book. The banter grated on my nerves instead of making me laugh.
Also I'm pretty sure the hero had an STI.
That being said, the sex was porny and hot.

Welcome to the Chatsfield Monte Carlo.........
This is the most fun I have had in ages. Lucca Chatsfield is so bad I just loved him to pieces and he has problems, get his act together or lose the lot, so he is sent away for a month to help plan a wedding with uptight, prim and proper Princess Charlotte. Let the games begin, the banter, the tension, she has no time for him, despises everything he is and he loves toying with her, pushing her buttons to get outrage reaction. Slowly that changes and then the table is turned, however, everything is not what you think. There is so much more to the the notorious playboy caught with his pants down wearing only a studded leather codpiece, hilarious. Same with the Princess, once she finds her stride watch out Lucca. Actually they are perfect for each other. Like an onion the layers get peeled back and truth is relieved, about their pasts, their issues to find themselves and each other. Brilliant read, loved this book had so much fun on their journey and Lucca is to die for and did I mention how bad he is.Also he really has a sensitive side to him. Another brilliant written book by Melanie Milburne and welcome to the Chatsfield hotels, the scandal, the passion and hopefully happy ever afters.
Loved this book, loved it, loved it, loved it.
This is the second book in a series of eight there is also prequel by Melanie Milburne called Engaged at the Chatsfield.
Can't wait to read them all.

This read was as delightful as it was sinfully naughty! We have the seriously buttoned up princess Charlotte who prefers to hide behind glasses and old maiden clothes and the super sexy playboy, Lucca that brings out the wild side of her with one kiss.
But to Lucca this is just another notch on his bedpost. The fact that Charlotte is the one and only woman he has ever spent more than one night with is no big deal nor, is the fact that he let's her see what the world will never see, the true him.
He prefers to stay the ruthless give them the best sex ever and move on to the next one playboy image he has always been. And come the end of the month Charlotte will be last month's flavor and forgotten, it's as simple as that.
The character of Lucca was super, super hot but such an ass at times I wanted to fling a hot frying pan his way! The man infuriated me like no other character has ever done before.
I very much enjoyed his jokes and playful sayings but I found myself growing very annoyed with him hiding behind a image that simply is not him, I wanted to challenge him and draw him out. So of course Charlotte being the key to doing just this was perfect and I very much liked seeing him knocked from his high horse every now and then.
The character of Charlotte was a very interesting one. She pretty much the same as Lucca hides from the world but Lucca sets her loose with a wilder than wild kiss she becomes this amazing knock your socks off heroine that made me jump up and shout " Finally !!! " Her hiding behind a dreadfully old look did not make me as angry as Lucca doing pretty much the same, for her reasoning behind it seemed much more valid. But am not going to give it all away, you will just have to read!
The most fun in this read was without a doubt seeing the tables turn on the characters, we have sexier than sin Lucca going from playful playboy to deep, dark and retreated soul, and always hidden Charlotte changing into this ray of sunshine that cannot be missed.
The level of passion and naughtiness in this read was scorching hot, hotter and naughtier than I have seen this author do before, I honestly found myself more than once thinking I was reading a Blaze book and not a HP.
The twist and turns of the plot with the mixture of the author's brilliant writing and super new spicy naughtiness made this read a true gem! Everything blended together so extremely well that had I not been a fan before this book would have sucked me in for life.
I am taking a message of hiding behind a personally you are not, will never get you anywhere. Let the world see the real you, they might not like it but they will learn to live with it and best of all you will be happy to know you got out there and let them see who you really are.
I highly recommend this read for all romance addicts out there. It had hotter than hot passion , exquisite emotion and an amazing story that will remain with you for all eternity.

Shallow overall characters, both primary and secondary. The writing style is very basic, the plot is super thin. I really didn't feel much of chemistry between the main characters. I would have liked to see the author taking advantage of the beautiful Monte Carlo to add some thing to the plot instead of a virus outbreak.

Can I just say wholly chemistry? A lot of sexual tension going on in this book. Cripe. It practically set fire to the pages. Okay, that's how hot it was. From the moment they met in clash in the beginning to the pages at the end, their hot streak didn't cool down anytime soon. I mean they were melting the pages. I don't think there was one moment that there wasn't a bit of sexual tension going on and I loved every minute of that. Love me chemistry especially hot chemistry that these two had going on. It was that steamy.
Plus the anticipation of this will they won't they was really good and very well played. I loved how they played off of each other and teased other. It really was a game of cat and mouse for the longest time, and in totally good way. It was all just a matter of time before they gave into their passions for one another and ended up in bed. It just couldn't be helped. Charlotte had no chance of survival once bad boy/charmer Lucca Chatsfield came into her world.
Lucca Chatsfield. Talk about yummy. I mean can I say how much I loved him. I mean he was just a great alpha hero that I enjoy reading about time and time again and he was just perfect because good looks and had that bit of the playboy/bad boy edge to him which was a complete façade and really hiding the little boy that he was inside afraid to love because his mother left him and was left alone with his drunk father and being raised by his older siblings. And he owned that bad boy reputation with that oozing sexual appeal and charm while trying to hide that vulnerable part of himself. I love when heroes project this bad boy façade that makes you feel they are untouchable but then once I get to know them then they are nothing but being teddy bears who just want to be loved. Really I think I just love a tortured hero, and Lucca was very much a tortured hero with many emotional scars to prove and the reason he sleeps with woman after woman without any commitment. And even though he was arrogant and over confident, which was part of his façade, he never annoyed me or made me think he was a jerk or someone that didn't deserve the heroine, I just thought he was very broken and had very many layers to him. And I was right he did. And he was completely likable. There really wasn't an aspect of him I didn't like. I think because he really didn't act like a jerk towards the heroine at any time really in the story in fact he tried to help her and get her out of her shell a bit so she could live. Plus he didn't make it a secret that he wanted her and was upfront with what he would give her and not to expect too much from him. He was honest about it. But it was more than that I think I just really liked his aura and how he was portrayed on the page. He was rootable and loved him.
And I loved her as well. I felt bad for Charlotte and all she went through in her past that caused her to put up a wall between herself and the rest of the world. I didn't blame her after her trust was taken away and she was betrayed all those years ago and now she just wanted to hide and not be in the spotlight like her sister was. And the press pretty much compared her to her sister all the time, who they believed to be perfect so that added to her insecurities. It wasn't until Lucca came along and challenge her to break free that she even considered doing that and give into her desire for Lucca. He really helped to break out of that shell of hers.
I love stories like that where the hero and the heroine help other and help each other heal with love being the contributing force behind it all. It's beautiful to witness. Also I like the trope of insecure girl that hides in the shadows and think she's unattractive and can't get the attention of the hot hero then to her surprise she finds out that she does and they give into their passions but more that that he helps her realize that truly is beautiful and beauty is more than skin deep. And just embracing being a woman.
Lucca did this for Charlotte and showed her who she could truly be and embrace it instead of hiding it. Plus he showed her that she was in fact worthy and not to compare herself with her sister and to think of herself less than just because the world saw her sister as perfect while Charlotte was not. She was the forgotten daughter and the spare that no one cared about. But Lucca showed her that she was more. Hence they have this hot little affair while each kept pushing the other for the other's best and being their for each other to create that kind of intimacy between the pair. Their relationship was very much healing and helping them find a bright future for both of them.
I don't know what it is but there is something about "ugly" duckling storyline that I really enjoy and kind of gravitate to. I'm a sucker for those stories. I guess it has to do with kind an underdog theme because why would I want to read about a hot girl who gets any many she wants then finally finds the one she's meant to be with. Then there's no tension there or issues to overcome which would strengthen a relationship because they go through the trials and tribulations together. I rather have "ugly" duckling scenario because I just think it adds so much more flavor to a story and like said creates that delicious tension between the couple and also prevents them from being together right away because the heroine doesn't believe she can attract the hero so that adds to the conflict. I just really enjoy reading that trope.
Like I said I loved Lucca and Charlotte together, and thought they made the perfect pair. They definitely pushed each others buttons, which was so enjoyable to watch, and pushed each other to be better so they could have a more fulfilling life for themselves not mention to have love in their life. Mostly that passionate love that they shared with one another, which was just beautiful to watch play out. I just wish I could describe all the feels I had when reading this story. I pretty much loved every moment of their story and just loved them as a couple.
So glad when they finally gave into their passions and they practically exploded after all that tension was going on. But the tension was great because it made me anticipate what was to come and what was going to occur between them which was nothing but heat. And it was never too drawn out where I was like "Come on get it on already". No the pace was good and spot on and just ebbed and flowed perfectly with the building of that sexual tension was also leading to them building their relationship and getting to know one another. It was just nice to see and I liked seeing it all play out before my eyes.
Just a side note : At first I was okay with Charlotte's sister and really believed she was trying to help Charlotte along the way even going so far as to encourage Charlotte to be with Lucca, but then she did a 180 and totally turned into a witch. I didn't see that coming or see that side to Madeline, but she was really a selfish person and never really thought about Charlotte or she went through in the past or what she was going through with Lucca and Madeline thought about how it took away the attention from her in the news papers not how it affected her sister. So that showed her true colors and made me despise her all the more and thought that Charlotte so much more than her family was giving her. Charlotte didn't have a support system and put everyone before herself which was probably part of the reason she dressed in an ugly matter so she didn't cause a scandal like she did in the past with her ex because she feared to hurt her family. That made me love Charlotte more and feel bad for her even more and made me root for the Lucca and Charlotte relationship more because Lucca made her feel like something unlike her family that did not.
My tiny gripe with this book and the reason I didn't give this book 5 stars was the ending. Now granted I wanted them to be together and was happy that they were, but I just thought that Lucca did a totally 180 who was against marriage for his entire life then he proposed to Charlotte in the ending pages. It was like what? It was too quick and I saw no indication that he was going there. Now did I see him falling in love with her and that he loved her. Yes. Did I see him prosing? No. Thought that they were heading in that direction, but not there yet. So that was my tiny gripe about the book. Otherwise it was awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is book two in the Chatsfield series for Harlequin Presents, and though I haven't read book number one yet, this book was a perfect introduction to the world. And it was a good starting point for me. If the books are a juicy as this one then I am looking forward to each and everyone of them. I hope I enjoy each of the couples like I enjoyed reading Lucca and Charlotte's story and hope they are just as passionate reads. Also curious to learn more about Lucca's brothers and sisters along the way and see them get their happily ever after in the end because it sounds like they need one and have a little happiness in their lives. Can't wait to read more of their stories in the future.

Like I said I loved Lucca and Charlotte together, and thought they made the perfect pair. They definitely pushed each others buttons, which was so enjoyable to watch, and pushed each other to be better so they could have a more fulfilling life for themselves not mention to have love in their life. Mostly that passionate love that they shared with one another, which was just beautiful to watch play out. I just wish I could describe all the feels I had when reading this story. I pretty much loved every moment of their story and just loved them as a couple.
So glad when they finally gave into their passions and they practically exploded after all that tension was going on. But the tension was great because it made me anticipate what was to come and what was going to occur between them which was nothing but heat. And it was never too drawn out where I was like "Come on get it on already". No the pace was good and spot on and just ebbed and flowed perfectly with the building of that sexual tension was also leading to them building their relationship and getting to know one another. It was just nice to see and I liked seeing it all play out before my eyes.
Just a side note : At first I was okay with Charlotte's sister and really believed she was trying to help Charlotte along the way even going so far as to encourage Charlotte to be with Lucca, but then she did a 180 and totally turned into a witch. I didn't see that coming or see that side to Madeline, but she was really a selfish person and never really thought about Charlotte or she went through in the past or what she was going through with Lucca and Madeline thought about how it took away the attention from her in the news papers not how it affected her sister. So that showed her true colors and made me despise her all the more and thought that Charlotte so much more than her family was giving her. Charlotte didn't have a support system and put everyone before herself which was probably part of the reason she dressed in an ugly matter so she didn't cause a scandal like she did in the past with her ex because she feared to hurt her family. That made me love Charlotte more and feel bad for her even more and made me root for the Lucca and Charlotte relationship more because Lucca made her feel like something unlike her family that did not.
My tiny gripe with this book and the reason I didn't give this book 5 stars was the ending. Now granted I wanted them to be together and was happy that they were, but I just thought that Lucca did a totally 180 who was against marriage for his entire life then he proposed to Charlotte in the ending pages. It was like what? It was too quick and I saw no indication that he was going there. Now did I see him falling in love with her and that he loved her. Yes. Did I see him prosing? No. Thought that they were heading in that direction, but not there yet. So that was my tiny gripe about the book. Otherwise it was awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is book two in the Chatsfield series for Harlequin Presents, and though I haven't read book number one yet, this book was a perfect introduction to the world. And it was a good starting point for me. If the books are a juicy as this one then I am looking forward to each and everyone of them. I hope I enjoy each of the couples like I enjoyed reading Lucca and Charlotte's story and hope they are just as passionate reads. Also curious to learn more about Lucca's brothers and sisters along the way and see them get their happily ever after in the end because it sounds like they need one and have a little happiness in their lives. Can't wait to read more of their stories in the future.

I started reading it without any high expectations, but it was better than I actually expected. Playboy's Lesson offers the perfect combination of sweet and fun with steam to boot. At first, the story might appear a bit cliché, but the background and the characters are so well developed that it immediately draws you in.
Lucca was such an endearing character. I honestly didn't like him at first. I'm not really into playboy hero and a guy who doesn't care at all about himself. But as the story progressed, I got to know the real Lucca Chatsfield. He wasn’t perfect, and he wasn’t at all what he seemed. And I think that this line from Lottie is what describes him best:
"Not the laugh-a-minute layabout lad-about-town image he projected, but the sensitive and artistic man who had the greater depth to his character than he let on."Lottie was such a great heroine, too! She's fun, sweet, and definitely wasn't a pushover. She’s also tough and vulnerable at the same time. And while she had her moments like any other heroines out there, I can’t help but root for her.
Plus, the chemistry between Lucca and Lottie is white-hot, and the fast building sexual tension is completely addictive, as is the verbal sparring between them. Plus the fact that Lucca's so talented with his tongue, let’s not forget to mention that. But despite that fact, there's no jumping on the bed immediately, which I liked since I’m a fan of slow-burn romances. And neither of these characters was perfect, and yet they were absolutely perfect together.
Overall, Playboy's Lesson was a great additional to The Chatsfield Series. And I liked the fact that each book can be read as a standalone. My only complaint whatsoever was the way this book ended. To say the ending was rushed and unsatisfying is an understatement.
P.S: I loved the little Q&A portion at the end. It made me forget how much I wouldn't say I liked the ending.

This book is utterly bonkers. Two characters change personalities out of nowhere to suit the plot. One of them is unfortunately the heroine. Her "come to Jesus" moment appeared way too early in the book, and didn't have a lot of build-up, which made it really hard to buy it. However, it did allow her to spend the rest of the book being in charge instead of a door-mat. She took agency over her life, and she ended up being the aggressor in the relationship, which was a refreshing change for Harlequin/Mills & Boon. But it did come from a whiplash change of character to serve the rest of the book.
The other character that changed personality was the heroine's sister. At first, she's presented as the caring, sophisticated foil for the heroine, the one who pushes the heroine beyond her boundaries, because she-knows-best. Then, for the rest of the book, she suddenly becomes the cynical, rude criticizer of the heroine and her relationship, complete with nasty comments where the character shows it's all about her. I didn't like the character when she was shown in the first light, but I could tolerate her. When she started showing colors of becoming the second kind of character, I was done. I wanted her wedding ruined, because she deserved it.
The best part of this book was the hero and the journey he goes on. He starts off as a shallow playboy, because he doesn't think he's worthy of being anything else. His journey to find something worthwhile in his life was amazing, with the heroine acting as the catalyst for much of it. In that aspect, this book is unique for this brand, and that alone is a reason to read it.

Strangely, despite the unattractive behaviour of the hero and the prim and prissy heroine, this was fun!
I hat to put aside my concern over the number of women Luca must have slept with, otherwise I couldn’t have enjoyed this at all. He only did one night stands. Had barely had more than two days celibacy at a time since being a teenager - so at least 150 woman a year. That adds up to a seriously unhealthy number of sexual partners. It really made me feel icky.
I loathed the older sister. She really was an absolute cow with no redeeming features at all and she added nothing to the story - she was a mere cypher.
There was a lot to enjoy in this story - great H/h, fabulous locations, witty dialogue, real emotion and great sex scenes. I found it thoroughly entertaining in! Just a pity the hero had been such a sleazeball in the past.

Persiapan pernikahan yang dikerjakan Lottie dan Lucca hanya sebagai tempelan cerita belaka, padahal lebih bagus jika dimasukkan detail-detail pengerjaannya plus kerepotannya dan bagaimana mereka bisa bekerjasama sehingga Lottie bisa memaksa Lucca untuk bekerja sekali seumur hidupnya. Ini malah didominasi soal kebencian (palsu) Lottie kepada perilaku Lucca yang playboy doyan pesta dan bersenang-senang padahal mah aslinya bernafsu untuk bercinta dengan Lucca. Lalu di 2/3 novel ada yang aneh yaitu perubahan karakter Lottie dari seorang yang kaku, sopan, serius menjadi penggoda, jahil dan periang. Kemudian ada detail soal darimana Lucca mendapatkan kuas, cat dan kanvas untuk melukis Lottie? Padahal mereka sedang berada di hotel yang sedang dikarantina akibat penyebaran virus. Mungkin alat-alat itu selalu dibawa kemana-mana oleh Lucca. Sebenarnya kasihan juga nasib Lottie yang selalu di bawah bayang-bayang Madeleine, kakaknya yang sempurna. Tetapi sebagai kakak, Madeleine bertindak superior dan pembulli kepada Lottie. Sayangnya Lottie cenderung pasrah menerima perlakuan itu. Ditambah motif Lucca demi mempertahankan uang tunjangan dari keluarganya dengan tetap berhubungan dengan Lottie sampai selesai acara pernikahan Madeleine. Sayangnya lagi endingnya terlalu terburu-buru dan Lucca langsung jatuh cinta dan melamar Lottie. Tidak ada epilog, apakah Lucca mengejar impiannya menjadi pelukis? Apa Lottie bakal tinggal di Inggris setelah menikah?

Cerita dibuka dengan rencana pernikahan Madeline dan Charlotte sebagai perencananya. Dari sini sebenarnya udah tertebak akan ada cinta lokasi antara Charlotte dengan asisten perencana pestanya. Dan... bingo! Memang benar.
Yang membuat cerita ini terasa fresh adalah interaksi antara Lucca dan Lottie. Karakter playboy Lucca betul-betul kuat sampai yang baca ikutan jijay pas dia ngerayu perempuan. Lottie dengan gaya konservatifnya jelas-jelas kebalikannya Lucca. Mereka ini kalau disandingkan seperti dua orang dari planet berbeda. Yang satu terang, satu gelap. Beruntung bisa bersatu lewat satu kejadian.
Hal yang saya sesalkan adalah puncak konflik dan ending-nya. Premis bagus, pengarakteran kuat, gaya bercerita mudah diikuti, tapi eksekusi konflik dan pendaratannya nol. Mereka bertolak belakang dlm segala hal, hingga saat mereka terjebak krn karantina hotel.
Novel ini lumayan bikin ngekek saya terutama di awal² cerita krn Lucca merayu gombal tak tau malu sedangkan Charlotte membalas dgn sindiran tajam yg mengena. Mereka berdua bergantian ke-kanak²an. Selain seru di bagian ini, kedua belah pihak bersedia mengubah sisi buruk diri mereka mjd lbh baik. Tapi endingnya masih nanggung, entah kecepatan atau klimaksnya kurang pas.

Por ahora sigo sin encontrar nada demasiado memorable en esta saga, entiendo que cuando una serie es tan larga ( y tiene tantos libros ) como esta no puedo esperar que todos los libros sean impresionantes pero despues de que la precuela fuera tan entretenida no imaginaba que los dos primeros libros fueran a ser tan sosos, en parte es porque las historias me parecen bastante cursis y fantasiosas, se que las novelas Harlequin no son las mas realistas pero esta lecturas han resultado ser bastante inverosimiles.
Admito que para las pocas paginas que tiene se me hizo un poco pesado.

Poor little rich playboy-manwhore, he truly was an ass in the first half of the book. Slowly but surely, he started to change, must have been the company he was keeping, and keeping away from. Does he deserve to be was a princess, cause we all know he sure wasn't a prince or a decent guy in the beginning.

It was pretty cute. Predictable, but that's why we read these books. Adult content, but on the low side. Lucca and Lottie had amazing chemistry and I liked that there was a bit of time knowing each other (though it was relatively short).

I loved this one Lucca Chatsfield is a notorious playboy always doing things that will upset his father and whn he is sent to Preitalle to help with the wedding plans of The Princess he must stay a month or he will loose his family trust fund but when he arrives and meets Princess Charlotte the sister of the bride to be things change very quickly Charlotte or Lottie as she is known to her friends is the dowdy Princess she is determined to make sure everything turns out right for her sister and does not want any help from Lucca. But when thrown together things change very quickly both Lucca and Lottie learn a lot about each other and falling in love is a sensual and heartwarming journey don't miss this one. I am loving this continuity Lucca and Lottie's story is set in The Chatsfield Hotel in Monte Carlo :)

Princess Charlotte is toning down her behavior. She wears matronly clothes and is pretending to be something she isn't. The problem is that no matter what Charlotte wears on the outside it can't calm the sexy kitten inside.
When Lucca and Charlotte get together the passion and sinfully naughtiness is combustible. Both have issues in their past that make them live for the moment but try not to expect more. The only problem is that they can't seem to get enough of each other. What turns out as sexual pleasure can be more.
Melanie Milburne has done it again. For those who enjoy reading romance novels that are filled with passion and emotion. You will definitely enjoy this book.

Very enjoyable read that has a lot of rapid fire, angry/flirtatious dialogue. The pages practically sizzle with the URST between playboy Lucca and Princess Charlotte. What starts off as a hate-hate relationship when Lucca is asked to assist Lottie with her sister's wedding gradually builds into trust, friendship and a steamy relationship. I loved the ending, where there was a fast scandal and a tiny sprinkling of doubt.
Melanie Milburne makes this romance a fun, feisty read for a rainy day, packed full of action, scandal and a hot hero looking for redemption.

This was a quick book to read. Like all The Chatsfield books it was entertaining and light. One thing I couldn't quite connect with was 'why would someone ask another person to buy their bridal lingerie?" Even if they were a princess. I found this quite amusing.
