I think I’ve just found the instruction book for my brain! In particular, how to maximize the mind-body connection to make things happen in my life the way I want them to happen. This is hands down the best self-help book I’ve ever read. I’ll definitely put it to good use for myself and my business clients—overcoming barriers to reach goals.
The authors clearly explain the underlying brain science, and then give practical examples and exercises that guide me in applying and activating this science to make significant changes in my life—more often than I’d like to admit, I’ve watched a grand goal fail to materialize.
However, if you’re a neuroscientist looking for a very technical white paper, this may not be for you. It’s written for the average person who is starting out at neuroscience “ground zero” with little or no prior neuroscience background. Yet, it may be helpful in giving you ways to apply the technical knowledge in real life situations, and valuable language to explain it to a novice.
