I love JUST SAYIN’ is a great idea for an interactive devotional for 8 – 12 year old girls. It gets them involved. Each two page devotional starts with a verse, an opportunity to draw the picture idea it gives you, an opportunity to engage in writing with another question, and an application for your favorite tween girl to live.
Wanting an innovative devotional for your daughter, grand daughter, niece, or girls Sunday school class? Look no further. This is a totally fantastic idea. And it has a girly-girl cover, with a puffy lap-dog with purple glasses, on a soft pink background. My daughter loves it! Available in paperback. 192 pages.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Pre Teens- Five Stars New Teens- Five Stars Early High School Teens- Four Stars (and a half) Older High School Teens- Four Stars My personal Rating- Four Stars {There is a Devo about not swearing, but nothing about purity, making it fine for girls ages 10+} This is almost like a younger, Christian version of “Wreck This Journal”. There was places to color, doodle, glue pictures & flowers, draw, sprinkle glitter and paint! Written in “text talk” makes this Devo good for this generation (‘RU’, ‘no prob’, ‘fave’). “Just Sayin’” is for the artist-y Pre-Teen who loves all things crafts! (Oh! Bonus: Maybe if their Mom or older sister does a Journaling Bible!) I think my favorite devotional was #27 about Matthew 19:24, there’s a picture of an (animated) camel and a needle with the capital “not gonna happen”. While I, personally, was a little disappointed that the Scriptures were in NIV (‘H’s are not capital when referring to God) this was a fun 192 paged devotional that I think many girls will like!

My Review:
Our girls these days have a hard time remembering what they are in God's eyes. That is why I'm happy to see devotionals like these. Just Sayin': 90 Ways To Rock Your Faith Devotional, is dedicated to teaching girls that they are not what this "world" says they are. It is a devotional designed to encourage, inspire, and uplift them to be the beautiful creature God sees. But this devo doesn't stop there, it is filled with 90 scripture passages along with activities to draw the heart out of any young girl that feels she is not worthy.
As a parent of a 17 year old daughter, I can see what this world will do to our little girls. And I'm glad that there are devotionals like these on the market used to help our girls find who they are in Christ. This book retails for $8.99 and you can find it at this link
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the Z Blog Squad..
I think the "tween" years are so important when it comes to developing a relationship with God. It's such a confusing and complicated time in life and having a healthy prayer life can make all the difference in the world. Just Sayin' is a cute devotional just for girls that will really reach them on their level and help them accomplish that daily communication with God.
I like the little slogan on the cover that basically sums up the overall design of the book: "Write 'Em, Draw 'Em, Hide 'Em in your Heart." Kids this age are known to love doodling in notebooks and anything they can get their hands on. This gives them an outlet for that in such a healthy way. For example, on one devotional, or "devo" as Moore calls them talks about how we all make mistakes but Jesus took it upon himself on the cross. Then it tells them to doodle a cross as a reminder.
There's another one that asks what Apps help remind them to be more like Jesus. Moore is great at taking todays modern language and technology and applying it to a healthy relationship with God. I really like the way this devotional is so far outside the box of anything I've ever seen but is right on when it comes to reaching this generation.
Just Sayin' is a great devo for young girls that will speak to them in ways a traditional devotional can't.
A refreshing new approach in studying scripture for young girls by writing and drawing your thoughts down in a fun devotional journal! I love the book with its unique illustrations and creative fonts. If you're a visual learner, you'll be captivated and drawn in to learn more of God's word. The author thinks outside the box and connects with tweens in such a clever manner by inviting young people to be creative on each page in dissecting God's word. Personal application stimulates girls to follow Jesus and experience His love for them through this very cool devotional. Great for home and church library, too.
I would have loved this devotion book when I was in about 4th grade. It's for that girl who loves to doodle, draw, and play with words. It's not a heavy, deep theological book, so if the girl in your life is looking for the depth of a more adult book, this won't do it for her. But, if your girl likes to think about God stuff and have fun at the same time, she can grab her markers, pencils, and pens and enjoy this devotion book. Recommended for 8-12 year old girls.
I did receive a free copy of the book for my honest review. I honestly like the book and would've loved it as a young girl.
A good devotional for tween girls, I enjoyed reading through the 90 days. I would say it is aimed towards girly girls but fun creative activities for a girl to do.
