Good overview of some strategies to handle data at scale. A bit too general at times and at others, gets into the weeds. But hey, that's technical books for you, it's worth reading imo

This book has useful patterns but it is hard to understand who needs this book. It is not high-level for managers and often too obvious for developers.

GoF book had several authors that worjed on different projects and suggested some pieces of code they found useful. The patterns have catchy names and good explanation. Here we have patterns but poblems are missing because the author was working trying to fix the problems, it feels that he asked why something was done specific way.
