Hollywood Temptation (Seacliffe Medical #2)
Hollywood surgeon Colt Travers needs a new receptionist ASAP. When the adorable—and completely broke—Selena Harris comes in needing stitches, he takes a risk and hires her on the spot. She can pay off her bill, and he won’t have to answer the phone anymore. They're opposites in every way, and she's exactly what he doesn’t want in a woman—impulsive, carefree, and amusing. H...more
I was highly amused by the beginning of this book, in that it was a woman being thrown out of her lover's apartment with all her stuff being tossed out the window down to her. All too often in literature and movies, it's the woman having a hissy fit and tossing the guy out. And, even better, the guy had a legitimate reas ...more

I'm giving Hollywood Temptation 4 stars.
Selena just got dumped by her boyfriend because all she does is spend money non stop. When he kicks her out of his house she gets hit in the head with a stiletto heel and then steals his car to get away from him. She ends up at a plastic surgeons office.

I found "Hollywood Temptation" a quick and entertaining read, however the heroine was too much of a pushover (seriously, let the man sweat a bit more, why forgive him on the spot?) and the drama towards the end was too constructed for my taste.
The almost cheesy ending (just saying: Star Wars references :D ) was a plus though!
A solid 3 star rating.
The scenes with Dr. "McHOT" Travers are adorable as their banter goes from normal flirting to erotic visualizations of what they each want to do to the other.
This was an entertaining read and to top it off... it is releasing with a 99 CENTS price tag!
For the most part was an entertaining quick read. The first few chapters were interesting and funny, but I got bored somewhere around the middle, and found myself starting to skim the pages. Selena felt really flat. The ending felt really rushed and kind of abrupt.
I found Scarlett a little weird though, because she had an MBA in accounting but her own
were terrible. Too terrible. I don't get it, then she finally gets a break and decides to do something in regards to sleeping arrangements I just found unacceptable.
I loved Colt, the Julian McMahon doctor. I love that the author gave him an imperfection, it just
made him that more perfect.
The money troubles at the clinic should be cleared up soon, cause I think they're giving too ...more
