This is a level 1 storybook, I would say it's a very early level 1. Beginning readers that know many words and are reading sentences would find this book very easy. But a good book for very beginning readers. Three to four words per page and it follows two friends hog and dog through a day of play.

Short words, simple concepts. Most words I would say are for beginners.
