Dreams, we all have them, but what if you could see other people’s dreams? What if one of the least liked professors were the object of murder in several people’s dreams and you knew it was going to happen? J.J. DiBenedetto continues the story of Sara, the young woman who sees others’ dreams and knows they may come true. Dream Doctor is a quick read, full of suspense, a touch of humor and some pretty realistic insights into the life of a young married med student with a special gift.
Sara and Brian are now man and wife/woman and husband, living in married housing at college and there aren’t enough hours in the day as it is, but when Sara knows one of her instructors is in danger, she must find the proof and prevent a murder. That isn’t all that is on her plate when good friends need her support and new acquaintances need help of their own. Together Brian and Sara make a true team, actually, I’m sure Brian has angel’s wings. In the race against time, Sara worries she may be too late, heck, she may not have the right dream killer, follow her journey from the dissecting table to the hospital as she boldly goes where her dreams lead her.
Refreshing, plain and simple to pick up a New Adult book filled with more mystery than heat as J.J. DiBenedetto weaves a tale of deceit, envy and the quest for power, one dream at a time. Wonderful characters, great dialogue and a pretty raw look at the life of a med student and those around her, Dream Doctor is a wonderful addition to the series.

Second in the Dream series of mysteries, Dream Doctor follows former premed student Sarah as she marries her college friend and enters medical school. Details of married dorm life and medical school create an enjoyably convincing background, while Sarah and Brian share the sort of honest love that can only grow as life throws problems at them. Sarah’s continuing ability to share other people’s dreams is only one of those problems.
While I might struggle to believe a student could do so much and still cope with medical school in real life, it doesn’t detract at all from the story. I thoroughly enjoy the author’s depiction of classes, from dissection to analysis of symptoms, to lectures and investigation. Sarah’s relationships within her family continue to be enjoyably real and off-beat, told with authentic and pleasing humor. And she remains a pillar of strength to her new neighbors. Meanwhile, one of Sarah's professors is ill, and half the department might be wishing him dead, which gives plenty of scope for Sarah’s dreams to both lead and mislead.
Convincing medical details, enjoyable humor and great characters combine to make this another pleasingly different mystery, where the character’s search for the best response is as intriguing as the mystery she’s solving. Authentic student lifestyle, genuine emotion, and a quick fun mystery---I'm definitely looking forward to more of this series.

Dream Doctor continues the story of Sara from Dream Student. After the traumatizing events of Dream Student, Sara is ready to move on to brighter and bigger things. She marries Brian and begins her life as a newlywed and a first year medical student, both big adjustments. Fortunately, excluding one or two hiccups, she has not had any dreams from anyone besides herself since helping to capture Dr. Walters. All of that is about to change however, the dreams are about to start again. Once again Sara finds herself having to figure out whose dream she is and how she can help. Without ruining her own life and dreams.
First off let me say that I while I enjoyed Dream Student, I was pleasantly surprised by how drawn into Dream Doctor I found myself. For one I think that we really begin to have a connection to Sara earlier in this book than we did in the first one. While she was likable in Dream Student I didn’t really connect to her as much as I do here. I think there is also a great sense of humor throughout this book which was missing from the first one. I love that we get to see a softer side of Sara in her interactions with Janet (although I do miss having Beth around as much this go round which I was reminded of those times we did see her.)
Because there was so much that I liked about this book it is a little easier to also see some of the places that felt lacking throughout. More than in the first book I found myself wishing that many of the side characters were more developed, in particular Brian. Brian spends much of this book simply as Sara’s comfort blanket. And while that was ok before I think that we need to see more from him now than his devotion to Sara. I think those moments when we do make their relationship more intriguing but they are few and far between.
I like the way the dream sequences were handled and how we see them from a wider variety of people this go round. I found myself wishing that the question of why they happen would be addressed a little more (or at all). Also I felt that Sara’s reactions to them became a little monotonous as the book went on (every time she wakes up from one we don’t need to see her wondering why she is feeling what she is feeling before realizing that she has once again been in someone else’s dream….)
Again this is not to say that I did not like this a lot. I did and I cannot wait to read more in this series. I think that a little more would just make this a little stronger. Would push liking to loving.
By the way coming from Cleveland it was a blast seeing it throughout. :)

Ok overall, this book might be even better than book one in the series. Which, as most readers knows, is really not the norm. However, I can see how the author is growing, the story line is better plotted. The pacing is extremely well done. The characters keeps growing in this book and the world building is very well done.
The performance of Heather Hogan really added so much to this story. Especially the scene changes from the waking to the dream world is done with a clear and non negotiable twist.
The world building of a woman in medical school is brilliant. No glossing over, no hours and hours of free time to do as she wishes, no instead this woman hardly has time to turn around twice without regretting the wasted seconds. I loved the reality that was brought in by the author in the setting of the plot. It felt real, it felt authentic which naturally translated toward the suspense in the story making it even more chilling.
A great read/listen for lovers of this genre.

This is the second book in the Dream series. I had not read the first book but that did not effect my ability to understand the plot of this book. In this book Sara and her fiance Brian return. This time they are getting married and Sara is in medical school. She wakes up one night to a dream of one of her professors being killed. Sara quickly realizes her previous dream experiences are not over as she had hoped. The book then proceeds with a mystery as to who wants this professor dead. I thorougly enjoyed this book. I felt it was well written and I liked the characters. The plot is original enough to catch your attention and it keeps you guessing as to have the mystery will unravel. I will defiantely read more books by this author.

The concept for this series is great. Sara uses her abilities to stop murders and help people in need. Unfortunately, while the idea is captivating, the execution needs some work.

I really like the mystery this book has about it. Can you imagine seeing other people’s dreams? That’d be hard not to accidentally say something that they should only know.
Sara Barns now Sara Alderson as she she is married to Brian now and also a medical student. Brian who knows about her dream status and her one good friend Beth are there for her. When Sara starts having dreams about an unpopular doctor named Mr. Morris she knows something wrong is going to happen to him. So she starts observing Dr Morris during class and the people who are closest to him. Things start unfolding around Sara as she is going to school and being newly married and trying to figure out who’s trying to kill Dr Morris? Will she and Brian figure things out in time to save them all?
There’s some language as a heads up.
The narrator does a great job!

This was a really different kind of story. A medical student, Sara, can see other people's dreams when she sleeps. In these dreams, she gets to find out clues about an upcoming murder, which is that of one of her teachers. She forms a suspect list and does her own sleuthing when she wakes up, with the help of the clues from her dreams.. It's put together really well.
Another extremely interesting thing is the very detailed and realistic portrayal of the life of a medical student. Wow, it's so tough!. I have even more respect for doctors now. All in all, love the story & also the beautiful relationships shown in this book.

Dream Doctor is the second book in the Dream series. Sara has graduated. Brian and Sara are now engaged to be married, She will be taking more classes and hopes the dreams are finally over. She doesn't have any dreams for awhile, than she starts having them again. Only they aren't just from one person they are from a few different peole that seem to want one of her Professors dead! She doesn't know why? Till she meets him in class one day and realizes what a jerk he is ! So now the mystery is who really wants to kill him and who is just dreaming about killing him? Sara has a lot going on in her life besides the dreams as all the people have a motive to kill him. Her friend Janet's Mom was just diagnosed with Cancer and Sara's classes are harder than she thought they would be. C an she investigate on top of everything else?

What if you could see other peoples dreams, Would you what to? What if by seeing them you see something that will most likely happen and you can do something about it. That's what this series of books are about. It is a worth while read. I will most likely read the whole series if the plots and story lines stay about the same or a little more interesting. there are about 8 books in this series so far.

A TERRIFIC SERIES !!!!! TAKE A TRIP THOUGH THIS WONDERFUL MYSTERY ....YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS.
I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST OPINION AND THIS IS MY HONEST OPINION
This is the 2nd of the series, about a year and a half later. Sara and Brian are newlyweds, he is taking extra classes to graduate 6mos. early, and Sara is in her first month of medical school. Though each book could be a stand alone, I think it is better understanding to read them all and in order. Like when she starts having dreams ,again you would know she has visionary dreams. She had them in the first book (won't say what happen or how it was dealt with or stopped) just that she realized as she came out of it that it had happen again. She was seeing in other peoples dreams and (not just one persons this time) more then one person was having similar dreams. They all wanted the same thing, to the same person, they wanted the Dr. dead. She knew that 1 or more would try something to kill or cause him to die but worse she hated him too. James wants us to work out the story so he lets us see things from more than one point of view. We see the everyday life of Sara and the other main characters. James keeps description of classes ,from dissection to analysis of symptoms, to lectures and investigation as close to real as he can. Sara family continues to be enjoyable , humors and authentic. Sara has too not only be a student ,young new wife , now she knows she needs to be a detective to work out of all the dreams who might mean to really hurt the professor. It makes you wonder how does Sara stay sane with everything that is going in her life. It really becomes a different mystery, because in #1 Sara was a student and though she is a student, she is older and married, an adult. I LOVED THE BOOK , there is so much right that telling you what is wrong is easier and that is mostly that other characters like Brian are not fully developed. He should be more than just devoted to Sara,(though ok in #1needs more as the series goes on) he does have a life too.I WILL BE GOING ON TO #3, #4 and so on till the end. They are well worth reading and #2 was even better then #1, I sure hope that continues. OH !! HAVE A BOX OF TISSUE HANDY, THERE ARE SOME PLACES YOU WILL NEED ONE.

I had a couple of preconceived ideas about this book that I am very happy that I was wrong about. First, I thought since it's Dream Doctor that it was like 8 years after Dream Student. It's actually only a year and a half after the first book. Second, when reading the synopsis for the book I thought that there were going to be major relationship problems between Sara and Brian in this
book. I get tired of falling in love with a couple and then having the author butcher the relationship in the next book. It just makes me feel sick while reading it. I'm happy to say I loved this book and have absolutely no complaints! It has even more of a mystery to it than the last book.
I think I learned more than I'd ever want to know about medical school in this book. I love it when books go into the characters careers or in this case schooling. I can't imagine that the author didn't do any research on this book because it's very thorough. So in addition to lots of medical school and average day life as a newlywed Sara starts having her dreams again. Everyone seems to be dreaming about one of her professors dying. But who is the one actually trying to kill him? Yay mystery!
Sara and Brian's love at first sight relationship caught my heart in the first book and it continues in this book. It's not like boring mushy stuff, just everyday life. Little jealousy and misunderstandings that always come with newer relationships. In addition to that they both have overloaded schedules. I found the mystery intriguing and everything else was icing. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is the second book in the Dream series, titled Dream Doctor. Sara has graduated and is no longer an under-graduate. Life is taking off for her as well. Brian and her are engaged and getting married. She's going to be taking a whole slew of other classes and she's hoping the dreams are finally over. For a while she doesn't have any dreams and she thinks she might be able to settle down and lead a normal life. Then she finally starts having the dreams again, but they aren't from just one person. They're from a few different people that seem to want one of her professors dead. She doesn't know why they'd want to kill him until she finally gets to meet him in class one day and realizes what a complete ass he is! So now the mystery is who truly wants to kill him or who is just having fanciful dreams about it? All of the people's dreams she sees all have a motive to want him dead. And on top of that she has so many other thing going on. Her friend Janet's mom has been diagnosed with cancer and the classes she's taking are more than she thought. And can she do enough detective work to figure out who wants to kill her professor? All while still being a good wife to Brian?
This book does a great job of making the reader really think about everything and get immersed into the situation with the character. Both the first and second book do great with the character development and letting you get to know the characters when it calls for. There are a lot of "ah ha!" moments in the book when you finally figure things out. And the relationship between Sara and Brian is sooo cute! It reminds me of me and my husband. Even though it's a fictional relationship, I believe if it was real, then it would stand the test of time! I give this book 4 stars.

Another wonderful installment in the "Dream" series. In "Dream Doctor," Book 2 of the series, Sara and Brian are newlyweds and Sara is beginning medical school, after a long recovery from the trauma of her previous experience of being inside a serial killer's dreams and racing to catch the killer. Now the dreams have come back, and this time Sara realizes that one of her professors is being threatened. The question is, who is trying to kill him? Or rather, who ISN'T interested in seeing him dead?
In the first book, "Dream Student," I was a little confused by the balance between the school, romance, and mystery storylines; I wasn't quite sure which of those the book was mainly supposed to be. In "Dream Doctor," either the balance between school, relationships, and mystery has been adjusted a little, or I was just better prepared for the genre-crossing. In any case, I found myself equally drawn in by all three story lines: Will Sara and her classmates survive their first months of med school? Will Sara and Brian's marriage survive crazy schedules and the new people they're meeting? Will Sara's professor survive the attempt on his life? On all counts, the book comes to an emotionally satisfying conclusion. The writing style is smooth and assured, and the characters and their world are drawn clearly and vividly.
I'm enjoying the "Dream" series very much, and look forward to reading the next installment, "Dream Child."

In any case, I found myself equally drawn in by all three story lines: Will Sara and her classmates survive their first months of med school? Will Sara and Brian's marriage survive crazy schedules and the new people they're meeting? Will Sara's professor survive the attempt on his life? On all counts, the book comes to an emotionally satisfying conclusion. The writing style is smooth and assured, and the characters and their world are drawn clearly and vividly.
I'm enjoying the "Dream" series very much, and look forward to reading the next installment, "Dream Child."

A great sequel to Dream Student.
The journey of Sarah Ba... Ahem. Make that Sarah Alderson continues. Sara is now a medical student. She and Brian finally got married (totally sweet even if she freaked out last minute). Sara continues to dream even though it stopped since the inicident last time. Between joggling her school work, her life, and her dreams, it's pretty stressful. And another incident comes up that her brother is finally on thr secret. But it doesn't rest there since one of her professor's life is on the line and she is the only who could actually save him.
I am so going to follow this series. I liked all the characters even with their flaws especially Sara's. Brian and Sara are lucky to have each other. I totally approve of Brian's concern for her and that even if they have their difference they get to work it out. Beth doesn't make that much appearance but it's nice that they are still close to one another. I'm saddened about Janet's situation but at least Sara was there for her.
This was also educational in a way I learned some pretty interesting stuff.
Thus, another mystery solved thanks to Sarah and with the help of Brian. This sort of reminds me of the Ghost Whisperer or that other psychic tv series which I forgot the name.
I will definitely follow this series. Although I do wish there was an explanation for Sara's ability. If it's genetic or something. I read the blurb for Dream Child (book 3) and her kid got it as well it appears.

I really enjoyed the first book in the Dreams series, Dream Student, so as soon as I was done I purchased the second book, Dream Doctor.
Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed by this second installment. It was very predictable and followed the same format as the first one: Sara suddenly see other people's dreams, she dreams about someone being hurt, and it's up to her to stop it. What bothered me most about this book was that the last two chapters were almost exactly like the last two chapters in the first book.
There were a lot of new characters introduced in this book, and many of the original characters disappeared, mainly Beth. Beth was one of my favorite characters in the first book, and she only made a few brief appearances, which I found pretty disappointing. Sara and Brian's relationship didn't really evolve, and I still wanted to learn more about Brian.
I really liked Janet's storyline and the humor between Mary and Joseph. I thought some of the characters and scenes were unnecessary, like some of the scenes with Sara and Brian's neighbors and Sara's classmate Paula.
However, despite its flaws I did enjoy this book. Although I can pretty much figure out how the other two books in the series will play out, I still find myself wanting to continue reading about Sara's crazy life, and I will probably pick up the other two books at some point in the future.

But Sara’s dreams take on a more personal role, when one of her friend’s Mom receives a terminal diagnosis. Will Sara be able to handle everything: help her friend, save her teacher’s life, balance medical school and find time to spend with her husband?

Have you ever wondered what your friends or family dream about at night? Especially when you see them smiling or hear them talking in their sleep. Since I have two chatterboxes living with me, I admit I'm curious.
To walk in happy dreams would be a kick. Heck, I wouldn't mind stepping into the mind of some wacky ones, too. Maybe not ones with giant ants though (referencing passage in book).
However, to step into the dream of a killer and watch helplessly as they end a life. Man, that's rough. On one hand, you could do as Sara did and use the dreams to your advantage; save a life. On the other hand, you're watching a murder unfold and might not be able to help. What that would do to a person's psyche.... Can't even fathom.
In Dream Doctor, Sara is engrossed into a more twisting mystery. She steps into the dreams of many "suspects" and has a real conundrum on her hands. Who wants Dr. Morris dead and who's actually trying to kill him?
Doesn't this sound like the theme to a Lifetime Movie? *grins*
My only small issue with the story was the jerky feeling I had while reading it. Comparison: Have you ever ridden with someone who was attempting to learn to drive a stick?
Stop. Start. Stop. Start. Repeat!
That's how the flow of the book was for me.
However, I did enjoy "viewing" the dreams right along with Sara. J.J. made me, as a reader, feel like Watson to her Sherlock.

I actually liked this book better than I did the first. Which is definitely not the norm for a series. The writing was still just as good as the first book. The pacing was perfect. It really felt like this book moved a bit faster than the first. Probably because a lot of the character explainations were already established from the first book. There was less exploration of her “Psychic powers” and I think that helped to keep the story moving.
As a reader, one of my favorite things about a series is how the books following the first usually flow better. I’ve already established who the characters are. I already know in some ways what to expect and instead of being dropped into a new world with new rules, I am already familiar with the premise.
I really enjoyed seeing through the eyes of a medical student. DiBenedetto did a fantasic job of describing the fears and emotions that come along with such a demanding college major. I was drawn into Sara’s thoughts and feelings much more than I was with the first book.
I also really enjoyed how multi-faceted this story was. Sara still has to plan for her future with her husband while balancing college and her gift. Bringing that into the story really helped to make the whole book more realistic and relatable.

Only negative I could find was the cover. It's very much a case of "Don't judge a book by its cover" or you would have missed a cracking read. Probably just personal preference, but it does look a bit like a "children's book", although it will appeal to our "Young Adult" readers so maybe that's not a bad thing. However saying that, I'll take "don't like the cover" over "don't like the book" anyday. :)
I hadn't read "Dream Student" (just starting it now) but realised I enjoyed "Dream Doctor" so much I didn't really need to read "Dream Student" to know what was going on. I really enjoyed getting to know Sarah and reading about her growing up and the trials and tribulations of not only medical school, but having to deal with her dreams as well. Must be hard and found myself sympathising with her on more than one occasion (forgetting that it's a book and not real-life of course).
The plot is amazing with the twist as well and it will keep you guessing, I got it wrong. Hard to accuse anyone when everyone dreams of killing him. I must admit I liked to use of humour in the story, didn't detract from the plot and made it an enjoyable, entertaining read. It has humour, romance and mystery, what more could you ask for? Definitely one I will read again and again.

If I had to describe this 2nd book and series in 1 word only, it would be SPECTACULAR! (Awesome just didnt' seem strong enough!) Thank goodness I am not limited to only 1 word :) This book was even better than the first. It really kept me guessing from start to finish. James had me hooked from the first word....okay maybe not the first...but at least by the 3rd! It picks up a year or so later but fills you in quickly with what had happened between the first and 2nd book.
This book has the right amount of Mystery, Romance, Comedy and leaves you anxious to read the next book. Which thank goodness I did not have to wait long :) * Thank you James! *

“Dream Doctor” by J. J. DiBenedetto is an excellent addition of his Dreams series. As the second book in the series, it follows very soon after the first book. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book and have nothing but great things to say about the second one.
Sarah is now married and has started med school. Almost immediately she begins to see dreams involving one of her teachers. He is horribly rude and abrasive, hated by almost every person he comes in contact with, including students and colleagues. How do you find the suspect when everyone dreams of killing him?
Again, DiBenedetto does an exceptional job with character development and a continuation of his unique storyline. The characters are easy to relate to and likeable, at least those that are meant to be likeable! DiBenedetto is an outstanding writer with a clever sense of humor. This novel would be great for young adults and adults alike.
Again, my only issue is the cover. It looks reminiscent of a children’s book, which is a complete shame, since the novel is a fantastic and fun read. Don’t judge this book by its cover!

This second installment of the Dreams series is a wonderful continuation of the story of Sara and Brian's life. This picks up soon after the first book and very much like the first book, the couple is in deep in their studies, in student life. Only this time, Sara is in med school and studying and going to class, which takes up most of her waking time. But when she isn't awake, she is back to dreaming and she has a new mystery to solve--who is trying to kill her professor? Everyone seems to hate him, so it could be anyone. This mystery is in the background throughout this book. What seems to be in the forefront is the personal life of Sara and the friendships she makes, the hardships of being a med student and a newlywed. The author does such a fantastic job of character development, leading us into the lives of Sara and her friends and family. This book was a joy to read. There is a little bit of everything in here: humor, mystery, and romance. You don't need to read the first book to understand this one, but I think you would get more out of the story if you did. Plus, I just think the set of these books is better read together, in order. Enjoy!

Book number 2 of the dream series starts with Sara and Brian's wedding. Even though she loves Brian, Sara is scared he is making a mistake by marrying someone who is not normal. Married life and college life are not the usual things mentioned in the same sentence and to undertake this path is sure to have complications. This story gives a detailed accounting of what happens in Med School and the pressures the students undergo. Add being a newlywed, juggling your relationship so your new spouse doesn't feel slighted and bring on the dreams again. Poor Sara has got to be overwhelmed. I have to love Brian, he is the real deal, a rock and devoted husband. He is understanding, busy himself with school but still shows Sara compassion and love when when she needs it most. Even though the dreams were not as specific this time, they do lead to quite the mystery. The storyline was well written, very enjoyable and I think the characters grew as individuals and a couple. As a series goes, the author did an excellent job keeping the flow of the storyline from book 1 to book 2 and the story just keeps getting better and better. I look forward to reading what happens next.

'Dream Doctor' is the second book in the 'Dreams' series about forthright Sara and her ability to experience the dreams of others.
Sara is now a medical student and experiencing a lot of homicidal dreams about one of her professors. These books are primarily about Sara's life as she grows up and every part of this feels very believable, from the medical school classes to her relationships with her fellow students, friends and neighbours. There is real heart to the story which ultimately makes it a feel good read.
The mystery is intriguing but kind of goes on in the background while Sara juggles all of her everyday life stuff. It does come to a satisfying conclusion. Sara is an excellent character, very caring and easy to sympathise with, so reading about her life and the choices she needs to make remains interesting and should do so easily throughout the series.
This is an enjoyable book full of romance and mystery. It would be suitable for YA readers and I would recommend to fans of romance & paranormal romance.

This is the second book in the series and unfortunately I have not read the first one but I definitely plan to go back and read it and really recommend reading it first. The story contains references to the first one and it would definitely make more sense although I can honestly say I enjoyed this book without reading book one.
Sara Katarina Barnes has dreams that haunt her life and also give her insight into the people around her. Her current dreams revolve around a few topics, including one of her professors at school who wants to be Dean. Luckily Sara has her new husband Brian by her side to support her and help her navigate through everything.
I really liked the concept of this book and I will definitely going back and reading the first one before finishing the rest of the series. I found it refreshing as life isn't super easy for Sara and she has to work hard at school to become a doctor while also trying to solve her dreams before anyone gets hurt.
I really can't wait to go back and read book one and then the rest! Great job!!

Sara is getting married and on her way to university as a 1st year medical student. Getting through that and paying enough attention to her new husband is difficult, but add to that her dreams, that makes it a roller coaster.
Sara sees other people's dreams. Anyone she has had contact with could be involved. From her teachers, friends, even her brother. ( there's a visual she didn't need) Unfortunately the reason she dreams about them usually means someone is in danger. She needs to find out the problem and fix it. This proves difficult when she can only really talk to her husband about her dreams. The main dream in this book is about a teacher who just about everyone wants dead.
This is a marvellous who done it. Our brave heroine has so much going on in her life. Her husband is her true hero. She needs him to keep her sane. I loved the relationship between our lead characters, they are so believable. A book that will really get you thinking.

I really liked this book, it was the perfect continuation for the first one.
We have some old characters, Sara and Brian of course, Beth for a little while, I wish there was more about her, Janet, Bob and some others from old Sara's dorm.
She is medical school now and struggling with real life, but of course she has to solve not one but two very important life-treating psych-detective cases.
I loved how the characters grew up from the first book, even Bob! They are mature and know what they want for their future.
The only thing I didn't like was that every time Sara wakes up shes confused and thinks that she is really seeing or hearing something and then the "Oh, it was dream" comes to her head, the first few times was ok, but then it becomes a bit annoying to read the same every single time she wakes up.
I can't wait to read Dream Child, I am so excited! There is no doubt it will be an amazing story with a lovely psych-detective toddler.

This was marginally better than the last one but that’s purely based on the fact that the storyline outside of the dreams was fairly interesting.
From what I can see I’m the only person that doesn’t like these books. Personally I find them completely... bland. I don’t think the plot is well executed at all, it’s just boring and nothing exciting happens.
The content/plot of the actually dreams was way better in the first book. Seriously, this was supposed to be a murder mystery! Where was the action and excitement! Nothing happened apart from her trying to keep the girl next door away from her husband – something the story really could’ve done without.
I don’t think this is a very good series. Believe it or not I feel mean saying it but there is just no story to these books, they could’ve been really great but there is just not enough about the actually dreams or anything to make it interesting.
This was marginally better than the last one but that’s purely based on the fact that the storyline outside of the dreams was fairly interesting.
