Umbra Hunters #4

A Seduction Of Death

Rate this book
Human. Umbra Hunter. Demon.

Everything we know is about to change. We've tried so hard to keep the Devil at bay, remove the Seniorem's corruption, and restore its true purpose. But with the betrayal and deception of a trusted brother and friend, I fear all our efforts will be wasted.

The Devil is on our doorstep, and he wants what he can’t have. I can only hope that with my mates by my side, we can overcome the darkness that is invading our lives. All I ever wanted was a quiet life alone, where the monster that haunted my life couldn't find me. But that was before I discovered who I am and the life I can lead. And now that I have it, I refuse to go down without a fight. It's time to do more than just survive.

It’s time to hunt.

A Seduction Of Death is the final book in the Umbra Hunters Series and ends with a HEA. This is a Paranormal Why-Choose romance which means there will be no choosing between love interests at the end of the story.

This series has darker elements that readers should be aware of such as, strong language, adult content, and violence.

I liked this last book in the series, it did wrap up all loose ends nicely. Epic battle at the end, one that has been long time coming, but the characters did beautifully through it all.
I loved Raz since the very first book and here, he finally embraced his feelings for the main heroine. It was intense, passionate and these two are utterly addictive. I am disappointed that that is all he got as the rest of the gentlemen had substantially more time with the FMC on page.
I liked the series though the last two books did not hold the same grip on me as the first two. However, it was nice to see some secrets coming to light and of course, some pretty heart- felt reunions taking place.
Looking forward to reading another series by this author.

spoilers

This wrap up of the series was perfect, it wasn’t too little or too much. It was the perfect amount of grief, spice, humor, battles, and even though the final battle was anticlimactic, just like the characters said lol, it was perfect. I loved getting to see more of Orcus and the little bit of Vivenne that we got. I love how Orcus fell in love with Milo and gave him a kitten for his birthday that he adores and spoils 🤭👏. I loved seeing Theo and Jordan, although I wish we got more of him, but we’ll be getting their novella, so yay. But in comes out February 2026 ☹️. But I fucking loved that the guys se Theo and Jordan as their little brothers because of how important they are to MeyI’m so happy that they were able to free Archer from Jesthren’s control, was able to reconnect with his siblings and it was so crazy to see the difference between Razar and Archer like they are quite literally yin and yang. Plus, it was nice that he was able to reunite with his mate and daughter. I just wish we got to see more of freed Archer with his family. Another thing that was crazy but sad was learning that Jesthren was also under Inanis’ control and his mind was polluted with his thoughts. And it was so sad to see that once Inanis was out of his mind, he felt the same pain that he originally did when his mate did and didn’t want to live anymore 😩. And then he even warned his mother to run, warned Meyer to run, he sacrificed his life for Lennox’s and Meyers, and then told them where Inanis was going. Plus, it was so sad to see Vivenne’s and Orcus’ reaction to his death 🙁.

I loved how obsessive, possessive, and protective Razar was of Meyer. Like that man was constantly following her, calling her pup, but still pushing and throwing her around like usual 🤣. I loved their dynamic in this book. Like he was learning and understanding his own feelings, showing more emotion around Meyer, gave Meyer a bath but she had to help him and showed him how to scrub for a woman 🥹. I loved that he started training Theo. And I fucking LOVED that he started telling Meyer that she was grounded because she kept going off and getting herself in trouble 🤣. And even though the other guys got a little less page time at least with Meyer, it didn’t bother me because basically each guy had their own book where they connected with Meyer and knew damn well they wanted her and Razar was barely accepting that in the last book.

I especially loved the ending where Meyer and Creed took a trip to the human realm so Meyer can check on her former coworker, get a milkshake and introduce Creed to them. And of course the rest of the guys showed up and were about to ream Creed, but then they just joined them 👏. And we learned that Razar now loves chocolate milkshakes 🤣. I absolutely loved that ending, it shows how domesticated the guys are and how willing they are to follow her to the ends of the realms.

Favorite quotes/scenes:

“My pet is so much better than my Pup’s. Granted, she is the one who discovered my tiny orange beast before I laid claim to him, but her choice of pets since that point has been seriously lacking.” (Aka Theo and Jordan 🤣)

“I’m not letting you go behind a bush and out of my sight, Pup. With your track record, you’ll vanish or somehow hurt yourself. I don't trust you enough to leave you alone.” (Razar)
“How the hell would I manage to get lost when all I need to do is pee behind a tiny bush fifty feet away? You're as dramatic as Lennox, you know that?”
“You would find a way.” (Razar)

“All I want to do is lose myself in her arms. I could stay here forever and be happy.” (Lennox)

“I told you this tiny monster is mine. Get your own.”
“You said I could have him back!”
“That was a temporary situation, and it's now expired. I’ll find you something else. Maybe you can train another feline so my tiny monster can have a pet of his own.”
“Milo is my pet. He doesn't need one of his own.”
I scoff, earning a bone-chilling glare from Razar as he covers Milo's ears.
“You know he can’t understand us, right?”
“My feline is not a simple pet. And far more intelligent than you give him credit for.”

“Homophobia is no longer tolerated in the castle. If someone is stupid enough to even look at those boys the wrong way, Razar has been permitted to end them.” (Lennox)

ºMeyer has decided those boys are her family, which means we just gained two little brothers. Why wouldn't we kill someone for being a threat to them?” (Lennox)

“Those poor kids have no idea what they're in for if you two decide to make them ‘little brothers.’ You should probably ask if they're okay with the idea before you claim them. Nobody should be forced to put up with your shit without a choice.” (Valen)
“I didn’t get a choice.” (Lennox)
“You were born into the family, Lennox. That’s different.” (Creed)
“So? They’re Meyer’s family. If they choose to leave, it would hurt her, and then I’d have to kill them. They don't get a choice.” (Lennox)

“Meyer would be mine, yes. She would belong to me in every way a woman belonged to her mate, but more importantly, I would be hers and only hers. I now live and breathe for Mi Sol’s every wish and demand. I long to fulfill every need and want she may have in her lifetime. My mind, body, and soul are hers to command, and I selfishly can't wait another moment to belong to her entirely.” (Valen)

“Do you want me to cut in and separate them?” he asks, nodding at Orcus, then Nox and grins. (Valen)
“You would do that?” I ask, and he nods.
“Have I ever told you that you're my favorite?” I tease, batting my eyelashes at him and making him chuckle, just as a deep growl cuts through the air and Razar whacks me upside the head.
“Did you just smack me upside the head?”
“No favorites.”

“I love you.”
Those three words didn’t seem like enough to fully acknowledge the depth of what I feel for the woman in front of me. “You have no idea how much I love and adore you.” (Valen)
“If it’s even half as much as I love you, then I’m the luckiest girl in the world.”
I don't tell her I’m the lucky one here, and count my blessings daily that I have her in my life.

“Then she came into my dreams, filling them with light and hope, and for the first time in forever, I didn’t want to die. Without her, I have no purpose left.” (Valen)

“I feel like I’m drowning, my demons tugging me deep into an endless ocean, and at the center of it all is my Pup, the breath of air I need to survive.” (Razar)

“How the hell does she have this much control over me? One touch, and I’m ready to bow down and worship the very ground she walks on.” (Razar)

“Razar? I’m yours.”
“I know. I’ll always be yours, Pup.”

“I love you.”
“I don’t think those three words are enough to express how I feel about you, Meyer. You are my everything.” (Lennox)

“I told you not to go in there.” (Valen)
“I thought someone was hurt! How was I supposed to know they would be fucking each other's brains out on Meyer’s bed? Theo's ass is etched into my mind! I need brain bleach! And that kid needs to lay out in the sun and tan or something. He could send signals to different realms with that pasty white ass.” (Creed)

“Meyer, we are minutes… nearly seconds away from our mating ceremony, and you are in the closet of the Throne Room getting fucked by one of the grooms.”
You act surprised. Are you jealous, Nox?”
“You’re damn fucking right I am. Bend over.”

“Life may not be perfect, and we might have a lot to learn, but I can't wait to figure it out together.”

So so good!

Spoilers!

This was an amazing conclusion to the Umbra Hunters series. Everyone finally figured out who betrayed them which surprised even me again since it’s been a while since I read the 3rd book. The dynamic between Meyer and Raz finally grew into something more than just frenemies and I’m so glad he gave in to being with her. Jordan and Theo finally got together which I adored!! We got to see way more of Meyer’s powers and how powerful she really is when she helped defeat their enemy. The spice was spicing and I loved it!! I was so happy to see that Arch was able to be brought back into the family after being controlled for so long, and his reunion with Mara and Moyra was beautiful. I really liked seeing the past interactions between Orcus and Viv and how they got to be together even though she had wanted more than just him. Overall, this book was amazing and I loved it so much. I’m sad to see their story end but I’m excited for Theo and Jordan’s book next year!

Thank God this one brought me back on board with this series. I had harsh words for book 3 but thank you Ms. Clemton.
Spoilers.

Why you ask am I so excited and into this book. Raz. He has been my favorite all series long and I FINALLY got the book where we see not only more of his personality but his love for her and his love for his family. Everything about his POV made this book for me.

We also get a pretty action filled wrap up to this crazy story, and when they mention how they all started it makes me want to reread books 1 and 2 again to see the big changes.

Honestly the only thing that dropped this one for me was it felt like we crammed a ton in that could've been in the other books or spread out better. This one felt like a LOT and then the big bad battle as they put themselves felt anticlimactic. He just dies.

But overall good book and solidifies my love for this author.

what a finish!

BM Clemton, what a finish! 💕

Another series I know I will read again and again. I really thought where this story was gonna twist and turn, and of course I didn’t 😅 I was still kept on my toes time and time again.

The conclusion to umbra hunters is bittersweet for me, I’ve loved seeing Meyer, Valen, Raz, Creed, Nox, Theo and Jordan through out the series grow. I really felt at time like I was apart of their crew. I’m going to miss this fantastic world Clemton built and the new take in Demons she brought to life.

Thank you once again for another book I couldn’t stop reading and lost sleep over 🫶🏼

I just loved how this ended and all came together, the MMCs are so well thought out that I can't decide which character I love most...which I always think is the perfect sentiment for a why choose trope.
Sad to know this series has ended, and will defintely be one that I will miss the characters. Even the world created was really interesting and fascinating, hoping the author will create more series based on this world!

Fantastic conclusion

This was one of my top most anticipated series to see wrap up in 2025 and it did not disappoint.

I will be up front and say that it did take away some of my overall enjoyment of the series with the death of a rather significant side character. I felt there was so much potential there for her to have a spin off and she was such an interesting character.

Even though that was a detractor or me, the writing and main characters are so fantastic that I have to do this book justice with the full five stars. If you haven't started this series yet, you're in for a real treat. OTT possessive growly men. Funny, snarky, self sufficient fmc. Bantter. SPICE. Romance (swoon worthy). Suspense. Plot. Well fleshed character development. All the good things!

I cannot believe this series was over. I absolutely loved it and this book did not disappoint. Seeing Meyer and her men form their bonds and watching as these possessive over the top men embrace her friends Theo and Jordan as her family and accept them into their family was just perfect. They have all come so far in the series and I just loved it. Oh and I cannot forget Meyers feud with Raz over her kitten Milo lol. Watching him try to claim his tiny orange beast throughout the series has been absolutely entertaining.

So for this final book we jump strait in to where we left off with that cliffhanger from the last book. We have Meyer having to get to her men Lennox, Raz, Creed and Valen after being separated on their travel back from the visit to their home. She has witnessed who the person is that is betraying them and needs to make it back to her men before it’s too late. Seeing who has betrayed the family was so upsetting. I wanted to like him and hoped he was a good guy. I felt so sorry for the guys to find out who it was as I knew it would affect them. I had so many mixed emotions through this book. By the end of the book though I felt so sad for him because he was manipulated into doing all these things.

It was perfect seeing Meyer finally connect with Raz. I liked him throughout this series but absolutely fell in love with him by chapter 3 of this book. Seeing him and Meyer really connecting and accepting this connecting was just magical. This series is one of those unique ones where I just cannot pick a favorite of the guys. Every time I think that I have one picked I read another POV from one of the guys and my pick changes. I just love each of the guys and how they each do something different for Meyer. Creed is her fun loving guy, Valen her sweet soft guy, Nox is her strength and challenges her and Raz is her guy that won’t coddle her, he pushes her and trust her to take care of herself. I also love that Meyer doesn’t let them get away with anything. She is constantly putting Nox in his place and doesn’t back down from Raz and his crazy lol. In this ending I was so happy to see them finally getting their HEA after everything they have been through was just perfect.
I cannot recommend this book enough. From the first book I was hooked and it quickly became one of my favorite series. It has been an absolutely perfect story with elements of some of my favorite tripes such as enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, and a strong female who doesn’t take anything from her men. I will miss these characters and this story greatly.

Every book that B.M. Clemton writes just HITS!

I was originally planning on leaving a full review after every book, but when I tell you I could not put them down I mean it. Every since the Black Veil University series, I have been stalking every facebook post, update, and tiktok I could find to stay in the know on all things Clemton is working on. I waited til the series was complete to read. Yes, I know it's not always the nicest thing to do. But I knew I would love this series and wanted to get it through in one go.

Now, all 4 books are stunners. Love them. So much. All of them are in my top 5 reads of the year so far, and probably will stay that way. Clemton just understands RH and fantasy so well. The plot was STUNNING. The characters were STUNNING. The drama was PERFECT. The build up was FANTASTIC.

I loved all of the male love interest, and how they developed throughout the series. This book had an amazing arc for all of them, and even though they grew and changed they all remained true to themselves. The best part? I don't have a favorite! All of the guys were so different and unique, but at the same time well explored that they all felt so important. That is the way to do it people!!! I also LOVED our FMC Meyer. She is a hoot and a badass. She was so well written, and just like the MMCs, she really came into her own in this last book. Still threatening violence and being a hazard to everyone around her without being TSL.

Now, the side characters were also clutch. I think that is part of what sets Clemton a part from other authors of this genre (and in general). She really knows how to create lovable and endearing supporting characters, who have clear personalities and objectives. No filler characters here. I mean Jordan and Theo have my heart, I adore them.

This book tied up the series super well, and answered all the burning questions. Another point for Clemton on never leaving you hanging. The build up to the big climax felt really well built. The action was there & so was the drama.

My note to B.M. Clemton, please keep writing forever and ever. You rock.

So I really liked book 1, but started skimming by book 3. I’m guessing this can’t be the last book at this point as I’m a quarter of the way through and she has only mated 2 of her legion bonds and isn’t even close to mating Razar. We still don’t even know the extent of what Meyer can do. Besides that things just aren’t making sense at this point.

So the king who won’t let his wife leave the castle, has left his mate alone to go to the human realm. Why? Especially when mates hate being away from each other. And this is after he learns his oldest son is a traitor, and they don’t know where he is.

Theo’s mom is the most powerful umbra hunter/senior, but she let all of the people that went to the rift die. She even managed to kill wraiths after they had captured her, but was killed so easily by the evil son instantly. Nox makes a point to say that Theo is the only hunter more powerful than her. Why? What has he done that is powerful? He couldn’t pull a beast off his friend/love interest without the help of a weak 26 y/o female.

The twin brother to Razar is helping the evil son, but the story is leading you to believe it’s because of his daughter and mate, but IMO it doesn’t make sense. Since he could go to the rest of his family for help, and his mate and daughter are currently with the king and queen, who could protect them. He could even play double agent. I’m not sure how that one is going to be spun.

For me the story just keeps getting weaker and less interesting, not to mention woke, as we go further. As I said this can’t be the last book, as we still have so much to be answered, so I’m giving up.

What an ending to this series! Valen has been my guy from the beginning but Razar is a close second and his development across the books has been such a highlight. Of all the MMCs, Razar was the most closed off and the slow burn really worked while he worked through everything relating not only to Meyer but Archer too. I would have loved more scenes with them as that was one of my favourite plot twists from earlier in the series.

It's still a rollercoaster though as there are some real emotional moments (Valen at the pyre really got me), plenty of action and some last minute revelations (the reason behind Orcus and Inanis' feud was so much more than I initially thought). The humour though was my favourite. Special mention to Creed constantly calling out Razar's feelings for Meyer, Razar's "no favourites" line, the ongoing custody battle of Milo, and Creed walking in on Theo and Jordan. Meyer, Theo and Jordan's relationship was brilliant; I'm do glad they are getting a novella as like Meyer, I was desperate to see what was happening with them! I'd also like to formally request a crossover with BVU as I'd love to see Gabriel and Razar cross paths!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

Good

I really enjoyed this series. I liked all the characters, even though the guys were a bit over the top with her. My favorite character was Valen. Then Creed. Then Razar. Then Nox. Nox was my least favorite because he was too bossy and demanding.

While I liked the plot and characters in this series, I felt like it dragged a little bit. There was a lot of repetitiveness in some of the dialogue and occasionally the author would retell portions as if she thought her audience would forget. But overall, it was still paced pretty well.

Meyer was an interesting character. I know some people found her annoying. I found her to be funny. I get that she could be annoying, but I felt like it was everyone around her's fault. Nobody really taught her much. They taught her to fight, but they never worked on her magic as they found out she had it. Nobody really gave her the history, rules, or social nuances of the hunters. They just threw her in there and expected her to just know everything. Even when they realized she knew nothing of their world, they still rarely informed her. That said, I would be annoyed, and therefore annoying, if I was thrown into that situation. A whole new world. New people. New situation. New expectations. Who wouldn't be testy and annoying in those circumstances?

Anyway, personally, I liked the series and would recommend it. It was fun.

A Seduction of Death

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Rating

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Rating for entire series

🌶️🌶️🌶️ 3/5 Spice

I really really struggled with a couple of things in the last two books. One of our MMC’s gets ONE spicy scene until the epilogue while another got FIVE! Now I understand it can be difficult to give everyone spicy time, especially when you’ve got more than two mates, but what was disappointing is that BM managed this very well in Black Veil, but here it just feels like she gave up. Doesn’t she have a team of alpha and beta readers? Did know one not catch the unbalance of spice and relationship building? Unfortunately those things are important to me and I honestly felt like the author just didn’t care.

I also noticed quite a few issues where one minute Meyer’s shirt gets torn, but she references her bra? Is no one paying attention to what the characters are wearing and what things get taken off? I also had a hard time following when they were on the ground and whether or not Meyer was on her back or on her knees. I dunno the whole series was like this and it was glaringly obvious, maybe because I alpha and beta read. Again I dunno.

While k really enjoyed the world building and the characters I do feel like the author fell short of making something amazing, because it felt super rushed.

Not sure that this will be on my re-read list.

* 4.5/5 but rounded up. Another amazing series by B.M. Clemton comes to an end. I will miss reading about Meyer and her harem of delicious demons. Though, I'm sure this is a series I will reread in the future. At the end of the last book, the mole in was revealed and we pick right back up after Meyer is separated from her men. There is decent action throughout the book as well as the banter and laugh out loud moments I've come to expect from Meyer. The thing preventing this book from being a 5 out of 5 read for me is that the ending feels anticlimactic and the ending felt rushed.

I wish there were more spicy scenes between Meyer and Razar throughout the series but when they finally come together it is HOT. Valen remains my favorite of her men though. The spice is good as usual and that final scene was everything. I enjoyed the epilogue that gives a peek into the near future for the 5 main characters. I am holding out hope that there will be a novella set further in the future. This series truly cements B.M. Clemton as one of my favorite rh writers and I will read anything else she puts out.

4.5/5

okay so i normally get anxious about the last book on a series because they can be an amazing way to tie the bow on the story or it could be the worst thing to happen…

let me tell you, it has the prettiest bow tie ever.

it flows perfectly from the beginning… you get action, GREAT banter, all the feels and emotion and OMG THE ANGST!!! i couldn’t stop reading 😩😭 the story clicked and was addictive from the getgo.

you connect with all the characters, root for them and feel with them…

also, one thing BM did sooooo right with this one was making Razar and Meyer’s relationship slowly develop… i love him so much and it was such an amazing time to see how he’s changing around her and allowing himself to feel and love her. ugh, HE’S MY MAN 💓

this book gives meyer and her guys a great HEA and i couldn’t be happier with how it ended…. however, the reason for my 4.5 and not 5 stars is that i didn’t feel we got too many razar and meyer scenes together! i wish we could’ve seen more of his soft side for her between only the 2 of them.

Wow

Ughhhhh what an ending to this series. I couldn’t have asked for much more. My heart is both happy and sad that it is over. I actually pushed off reading the last 10 percent because I wasn’t ready. In this story we have development in relationships and dynamics that is just chefs kiss. I’m sorry but the amount of times I giggled reading Razar’s POV isn’t even funny. His comforting techniques have a little room for improvement but I’ll give him a passing grade. I just love Meyer and her spunky attitude. I love that she doesn’t back down from the guys and Razar’s beast. Reading everyone’s reactions to what she does and says to the guys and how she gets away with it… at least in public… also makes me giggle. The guys really do have their hands full with her because she really is a trouble magnet. Milo also once again stole the show. The cat is just as spicy as his mother. That’s for sure. This absolutely another fantastic story and world put together by BM Clemton.

Series Conclusion

An amazing round of applause to B.M. Clemton for another great series. I was so excited for this book, and when I got it, I binged read it so fast as I am addicted to this series. From Meyer to her guys to her best friends. This book brings them all together finally. Lennox is the protecter through and through for everyone. Creed is the laughing goofball you all love. Valen is best friend one, always there when you need someone. Razer, omg Razer is an enigma on its own. He is fierce and protective but yet still sweet in his own way. When Razar finally connects with Meyer, it makes the whole book.

This book is the conclusions of the series. We get started where book three ended. We are finally figuring out the mastermind behind everything. This leads to some heartbreaking betryal and broken trusts. They have to find a way to get rid of one and save another at the same time.

I am sad to see this series end, but I can't wait to see what B.M. Clemton has in store for us next.

“Are you hurt? Shit! You’re leaking… wait, crying, that's what they call it. Dammit!”

I'm so devastated that this series is over. It's had me on the edge of my seat, anxiously awaiting to see if everyone was going to be ok for so long I don't know what to do with my life now. It has made me laugh, cry (especially A Seduction of Death), and feel every emotion in between.

A Seduction of Death is action packed right from the start and there are so many twists and turns you never know what's coming leading to one final epic battle that will have you second guessing who you want to live.

I absolutely love Meyer's relationship with her guys and their need to protect her (or ground her forever if you're Razar) because they just know she's going to end up in another dangerous situation.

“I told you this tiny monster is mine. Get your own.”

Ahhhh Razar and Milo... you will forever be my favourites... I love the banter and the chaos of the two of them with every fibre of my being. And if someone can draw me an artwork of the two I'd love you forever 😂

Yet again, I was absolutely obsessed with this series from B.M. Clemton.

I loved the strength & personality behind Meyer. I loved the strength & diverse personalities behind Lennox, Creed, Razar, & Valen. All four of those men together is…phew hot. But when they each have their moments with Meyer yeah it’s amazing.

I adored the progression of Meyer’s relationship with Razar. I mean the way they interact with eachother had me cackling. Especially whenever Milo was involved too.

In this book we see the continuation of the last with Meyer dealing with finding out who is behind everything & dealing with that betrayal. Her & the guys have to find a way to get rid of him but also save their brother Archer too.

There were so many crazy moments between Meyer & Razar mating, to fighting Jes, to meeting Inanis & even almost losing Orcus, it was intense but oh so dang good!

This whole series was yet another success in my eyes. It seems anything that B.M. Clemton writes I will absolutely fall in love with.

Absolutely amazing job! I cannot wait for what else you have in store!

4.5* This was a 5 star read for me until the end few chapters. It had me hooked from the first page and for most of the book, was my favorite of the series. The interactions between Meyer and Razar are *chefs kiss*! I was laughing so much! But there were also a lot of other emotions that got me, so this one was a bit of a roller coaster. The plot was interesting and moved along at a good pace. Meyer’s mates all settle into “their places” with her and we get to see more of previously introduced side characters. I’m not sure what happened towards the end, but that’s what marked it down slightly for me. It felt…rushed? Disjointed? The end fight felt off to me. Other than that, it was a truly great book and a good end to the series (well, Meyer’s story anyway). Definitely recommend!

'Fucking hell, this man has some major daddy issues'

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶/5

A Seduction of Death is the fourth and final book in the Umbra Hunters series and sure packs a punch being the finale.

It only took to book 4 for Raz to pull his head out and see what was in front of him the whole time 🙄😂

The storyline definitely kicked up in this book. I love how Meyer's character really developed into such a badass. Not only was she trying to take down the bad guys, she was standing up to the brothers and not letting them tell her what to do.

I wanted to throttle a few characters at the beginning, but by the end I felt sad for them.

All in all, a very well written book with no left over plot holes and I loved the ending that the characters got

Omg it can’t be over lol this series ending saddens me. I wish I just picked this series up it’s that good. I love the arcs of characters. My Little Demon is all grown up I almost had a heart attack with “Daddy Demon” lol Theo and Jordan have me cracking up thru the whole series with their Angry Girl. Speaking of Meyer that girl is tough as nails everything she went thru and was put thru my goodness I couldnt ask for a better ending to her story maybe some babies lol idk how Raz would handle that but it would be funny to see. The epic battle at the end was heart stopping and everything within the dream world. My poor Jes I was rooting for him and my goodness did he deliver I sobbed like a baby.

I almost DNFed at the 2nd book but was promised by many reviewers that this was the next ACOTAR.

I can handle heroines that make dumb mistakes for love or make dumb choices because they thought they were doing the right thing. What I can’t handle, is a dumb heroine who has shown no growth throughout FOUR books. What ultimately made me DNF was when said dumb heroine finds out who the mastermind villain has been the whole time, sees him kill a friend right in front of her; and the next time she meets said mastermind villain, ALONE I might add, instead of playing along and gaining the upper hand on him, she outs herself and TELLS HIM that she knows he’s the villain.

TLDR: Plot had so much potential, ruined by bad character writing.

I am deeply sad that this series is now over!!

For me this book felt like a long epilogue and I am not even mad about it. I liked how relationships developed and got strong and how everything tied up at the end.

If I have to rank the MMCs it would be

Nox> Valen > Raz > Creed

I loved them all!! It’s weird for me to like every single MMC in the harems as much as I liked them all. The FMC, Meyer, was amazing and she goes on my top favorites I’ve read in RH. She was strong but also sweet and liked to communicate her feelings which is a plus for me.

Safety
No ow/om drama

What to expect
Super possessive and protective MMC and FMC
Action
Hidden powers
Multiple POVs
Spice and sweet!
Strong FMC
4 MMCs in the harem

Amazing World Building

I love every single thing about this series, including this last book. The only thing I’m not happy about is that it’s over now. All the men have unique and distinct personalities, the world-building is top notch, and also I cried about a bucket and a half, while also laughing enough to make my housemate concerned. In hindsight, alternating between crying and laughing while clutching a stuffed wolf may not have been the way to approach this with witnesses around. Learn from my mistake, read in solitude or with a support system, but absolutely read this series.

love this story

I started this series on audio which is fullcast duet narration. It’s SO good. That I decided to finishing ready the series until the next audios are out. Razar is my favorite. And the MOST refreshing part of this whole story is adult communication. Whenever the guys ask Meyer something she answers honestly. So there is no purposeful withholding of information to cause strain or conflict in the story. The story was good enough to hold its own without irritating miscommunication type tropes. I also love Meyer and Razar fighting relationship and their battle over the cat. Jordan and Theo are great too. Can’t wait for the audios :)

4.5 ⭐️

This was the perfect cherry on top to end this series!! The final battle was definitely anticlimactic but I love that that fact was acknowledged by the characters. It turned it into a funny moment in the book. We get answers to many questions we’ve had throughout the series and it was definitely emotion filled discoveries! I absolutely loved how Razar and Meyers intimacy and relationship built across all of the books on the series. Raz needed a little extra time but it was perfect and his obsession with the cat is still hilarious and perfect. The epilogue was the perfect ending to Meyer and her guys! This will definitely be a series I reread often!
