I really don't know what to say about this book. For me there was no story, just seemed like an excuse to write pages of sex scenes and nothing else. Two of them being shifters and one not, really had no importance except to give an excuse why they needed a third in their relationship to make a pack. M/M/M stories are difficult because all the characters have to just click and work, these characters did not. At one point it felt like Adrian was cheating on Patrick with Steven, not a true beginning to a third way relationship. I had hopes when I saw this one was m/m/m and had shifters, unfortunately for me it did not work out at all.

It just didn't work. When reading a ménage I expect equality, especially when it concerns mates. Their was just a lack of balance. It felt as if Steven took Patrick only as part of the package. How can any good ménage form out of this. Patrick will always know Steven loved Adrian first and perhaps always feel as if he is loved less...

My biggest pet peeve is when someone judges another without all the facts. Steven did that to Patrick.

Adrian knew that Patrick would be hurt by his and Steven's claiming, knowing this he still did it as punishment for Patrick's behavior. He better than Steven know Patrick is an Alpha and struggled to controls his desires. It just felt like cheating, also something that should have been shared and now can never be taken back. Add to the fact that later in the book Steven said that he and Adrian discussed him moving in. WTF? These types of conversations you have with all the partners. It felt as though Patrick was just for fun and Adrian for deep conversations, he actually said that.

The only character I liked was Patrick. Personally this was a fail for me, when I read werewolves with mates I love the fact that it is that inevitable would deep love you share with your partner(s). Instead it felt like a badly formed threesome that would fall apart after a few years.

This book definitely has heat between three men, well, two wolf shifters and a human, and lots of smexy scenes. There isn't a lot of back story, the characters did not really stand out for me, and it felt as if each of them was playing a "required role" to make the threesome work.

There is Patrick, the controlling alpha who has to learn to curb his aggressiveness and dominance when Steven enters their relationship. Then there is Aiden, the gentle, loving wolf who mediates between his mate and the newcomer. An finally there is Steven, hesitant and scared and needing lots of time to contemplate, as well as tons of reassurance.

If you're looking for a "basic" shifter story with a lot of hot bedroom action, then you will probably enjoy this short story.

Sadly, the only good thing about this book is the hot af cover. The mc's are as flat as cardboard and we never get to really care about them. The writing style didn't invite us into a story it felt more like I was being given a debriefing with some sex thrown in. No real tension or storyline. I would pass if I were you...

Good story

The story it's self was good, but I did not like what happen between three of them. by miscommunication. then to me it was completely wrong for Adrian and Steve to mate behind his back. even if Patrick muck up.. but in end happy ever after. and yes it is a good story and totally worth buying.;)
