A nonsensical collection of four riotous tales is narrated by Uncle Blubbafink, who tells readers about his friend Abraham Sandwich, his encounter with a dragon whose head turned into a station wagon, and more!
I thought the book tried hard to be cute, but it wasn't for me. The stories were ridiculous and they are supposed to be, but I found it to be confusing to the stories of the actual people who were portrayed. Wouldn't use it for teaching but may have it in class library.
"Seriously ridiculous", yes. I think it takes a different kind of personality than mine to appreciate this book. Didn't appeal to me at all. I couldn't bring myself to read it aloud to my kids.
