I am an Afro-Latina author. I have a deep love for all things fantasy and romance. I find joy in getting lost in captivating stories and savoring hot chais—when my children give me the chance.

I was offered an amazing opportunity to help the author proofread an ARC e-copy of Eclipse! I thought book one was brilliant but book two is a masterpiece in my honest opinion. The words are like art or a beautiful piece of music. The love story and adoration just resonates. We lose a vital person in this world that had me reeling - breaking my heart (trust me I cried all weekend because their death spiked my grief again.)

I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy so I can annotate the heck out of it!!! So many beautiful scenes.

Super honest opinion - I would highly recommend this book and series!

This is the second book in 'The Alchemy' series. I really appreciated that it started with a recap of key points in the first book! I love the relationships in this series, they're poignant and wholesome- the love evident. However, this does mean that you feel even harder when something bad happens. This book had me sobbing at parts, I love getting to that point of immersion. I am still a little dubious of some characters though.
