Alex finds herself at the center of a power struggle that threatens to tear the Meltisar System apart.

As Chi Celestia assumes the role of system ruler, Alex and her friends face fierce opposition from the major powers. Political turmoil and hidden agendas within the navy further complicate matters, and her past actions in the Nu Crateris System might come back to haunt her, making the stakes higher than ever before.

Meanwhile back on the frontier, Amy awakens. Healed but not entirely herself, she must work with her peers in Starlight Revolution to prevent it from being crushed by the oppressive superpowers of the Corporate Systems and Solarian Federation. Together, they receive unexpected help from an isolated Solarian Squadron.

As they fight to reclaim Ackman Station and push the Corporate Systems out of 92 Pegasi, they face a reckoning they had thought would take longer to arrive. With their lives and the future of the frontier hanging in the balance, Amy and her friends must summon all their courage and skill to fend off the forces of two major powers and protect their fledgling corporation and star nation.

But the question remains…where is their leader?

In Meltisar, the Imperium demands the return of their lost princess, and a free Meltisar is not something that can be tolerated by anyone. Will Alex and her friends be able to hold their ground and defend their ideals?

Alliances will be tested, loyalties shall come into question, and bonds shall be forged in the fires of war while the fate of Meltisar and Starlight Revolution hang in the balance.

Intense battles and mental strain

Alex was understandably depressed when Elis was previously injured, but her inability to cope is a major issue and she is unable or unwilling to face her fears and feelings. Why is she and Nameless not talking anymore? Being busy is not a good excuse when the main priority should be efficient communication with your other half. Good battles, but some questionable character development. Everyone else seems to be doing expected actions, except no one spoke after the main secret was revealed. Great story, but leaves me thinking something else is going on with Alex that the author plans to reveal later. Looking forward to the next book.

Continues to fascinate me

Really enjoyed this latest continuation of the ShipCore series. Alex continues to develop as a character, and so do the other important characters in the story. Looking forward to the next book!

I like books with AIs as the main characters, even better when there is a hierarchy of AIs. It is surprisingly difficult to find books like that. Normally I can look at the similar books section, but none of these have AIs.

Great space opera, slice of life, kinda Isekai, alien sci-fi.

Please keep writing about Alex amd Elis, and I guess Thea now as well :) I keep checking the Royal Road, but missed this release by weeks :'( Found it though.

Read on Royal Road. Action packed adventure. I am not a huge fan of the 3 POVs and am hopeful it will be at least partially consolidated in Book 5. I like the new characters and that not everything is _free love_ each time someone is added.
