The Dead Lands: A Sword and Sorcery Fantasy Novel
The Dead Lands are no place for the living.
To continue the quest tasked by Tanari, Moira, Bel, and Airi must search for the last missing immortal, Dehil, and a brother Moira never knew, in a foreign realm to the north. They find that things aren’t what they thought, that lies and truths are as shrouded as the dark energy that has taken hold of a once-thriving world and turned it into a wasteland, The Dead Lands.

Faced with mysterious attacks, a volcanic hellscape, and a supernatural storm reminiscent of an ancient enemy of myth, they quickly realize that The Dead Lands are no place for the living.
The shaping of the past and the threads of the future are at war with the present. Guided by a mysterious book and Dehil, the last immortal who knows the truth, they must unite and fight to find the answers they need so they can become who they were destined to be…even if it’s unimaginable.

I have a MFA in Creative Writing and enjoy games, reading and, of course, writing. I grow tall bearded irises and avidly listen to trailer music by groups like Audiomachine, Two Steps from Hell, and Future World Music. I currently have a flash fiction story published online at The Prompt Magazine.
My favorite genre to write and read is YA Fantasy closely followed by YA Paranormal and I would love to dabble in Steam Punk and Dystopian.
I have been writing for myself since I was 13 and using my mother's dinosaur of a typewriter (it was from the fifties I think!) and my father's special resume paper (without his knowledge). Those stories are long gone, but my brain never sleeps without coming up with new ideas. I am also a notoriously SLOW writer because I stress out and OCD over every word, freak out, then redo it. Rinse and repeat and you have why it takes me a year to do a draft.

The Dead Lands is a dark, atmospheric fantasy that blends epic quests with haunting danger. Moira, Bel, Airi, and Dehil’s journey through volcanic hellscapes, storms, and necromantic threats kept me hooked. A gripping tale of destiny, legacy, and survival in a world where the past and future collide.

Ava continues the journey with her companions as they navigate a world filled with magic, danger, and ancient secrets. Ava discovers more about her mysterious powers and the dark forces that threaten her world. A desolate and dangerous region serves as the primary setting, filled with ancient ruins and hidden perils that challenge the characters at every turn and dangers that test the characters’ resolve and abilities. They will also discover friendship, and loyalty, and encounter good and evil.
