Charlotte Brice started writing at the age of thirteen when her handwriting looked like a drunken spider tried to navigate its way across the page. Practicing her handwriting got a lot more interesting when her gran gave her two Rawhide books, and her imagination took over.
Charlotte is left-handed and can lick her own nose.
She lives in England with her husband, and many animals, four of them human. Attack chickens, confused dragons and moving rocks make up the majority of the menagerie. We can't expect much better from someone who studied fruit flies during her animal science degree and then qualified as a vet.
She remembers those days fondly, when putting her arm up a cow's bottom, and socks on emus' heads was her kind of normality. Now her head is filled with tentacles and schizophrenic phoenixes.

Show No Mercy is the story of Seb and Konnyr a mafia prince. I love the way Charlotte does mafia stories because she makes them really come to life. I loved these two as they worked for their relationship. I loved how steamy the bedroom interactions were also. I loved all the twists and action in the story. I hope we get more books in this world. I would definitely recommend this book as a 5 star read.

When editing maybe look out for when your space bar breaks and you have endless words together.

Between editing and the horrible plot and talking I can’t with this book

Seb and his fellow blood brothers take on a high‑stakes protection job that forces him to confront the past he’s tried to bury. The man he’s assigned to protect — Konnyr Dickson, a mafia prince — is the same person who has haunted Seb’s nightmares for four years. Despite his resentment, Seb discovers Konnyr is in danger from his own family, and he’s the only one who can keep him alive. To save the man he thinks he hates most, Seb must set aside old wounds, face his fears, and risk everything — including his life.

I loved this story which delivered a gripping blend of danger, tension, and emotional conflict. Konnyr’s life is hanging by a thread, threatened not just by his own powerful family, and that constant sense of peril gives the entire book a sharp, urgent edge. Seb’s dilemma is just as compelling — he’s forced to protect the one man who has haunted him for years, the same man he swore he’d never forgive. Watching him wrestle with old trauma, buried anger, and a growing sense of responsibility creates a rich emotional push‑and‑pull. As the danger closes in, Seb has to decide whether he can put the past aside long enough to save Konnyr… and whether the man he once hated might be the one he’s willing to risk everything for. A tense, emotionally charged romance with high stakes and a powerful internal struggle. This was an MM story with mature content.

If you want to read a sweet book with an edge of darkness then I recommend this book. It's set in the Mafia world so some darkness is expected; its perfectly delivered. However, it is woven with sweet and tender moments so it's not overwhelming. There's also some suspense and action added to the mix making it a great read.
Seb may not be happy with his new assignment of "babysitting" Konnyr but it's the perfect set up to get his revenge. It is time for Konnyr to pay the karma tab. However, once Konnyr is under his roof, Seb realizes that there's more to Konnyr's story. And slowly Konnyr's true story is revealed and it just breaks your heart and want to protect him at all cost. He needs all the love and attention that Seb is now willing to give. The karma tab now belongs to someone else, someone who really needs to pay.
I hope there are more stories in this world, cause the other brothers also deserve a HEA.

What happens when you are the thing your father hates but learns how to exploit? You become Konnyr Dickson, a man used by his father to get rid of gay men in the mafia and gain money. Konnyr is a broken young man who has learned that people that try to help him get unalived and he gets broken bones.

Seb and his two brothers are tasked with keeping Konnyr protected in a safe house. Seb has a past with Konnyr and doesn't like him but quickly grows to care for him. After discovering just who Konnyr's father is and what he has done to his son, Seb marries Konnyr and sets about getting rid of his father.

I enjoyed this story, felt like it jumped a little in a couple places and could have had the scenes played out more but the overall storyline and writing is quite good.

Seb shows no mercy to Konnyr when he is supposed to guard him for his mobster father. Then he finds out how badly Konnyr's father treats him and marries him to get him away from him. This leads to a trail of violence, horrifying atrocities and poor Konnyr constantly injured. Seb learns to love again and there are steamy scenes to show it. This book brings back Knox, Porter and the whole gang to assist, justice is served and Konnyr gets a new chance at life. I received a copy of this book and this is my voluntary opinion.

Lies and misunderstanding gives She the wrong impression of his new protection assignment - Konnyr. It also made him bias against him to which made him miss all of the issues Konnyr had. All of which slowly came to light as the book progressed. Mainly how prejudice her father how he used it as an excuse to abuse him. I liked the relationship She and Konnyr had together. It was protective, caring and endearing. I also loved that other characters from other books popped up in this book. A good read.

A very enjoyable Mafia story that fits into the Mafia world already created by this author in previous books. I loved the relationship between Seb and Konnyr. It had a rocky start, but once it got going their relationship was true and they way they cared about each other was really sweet. I found the story easy to read, I never doubted the love between these two, and it was great to see the other Mafia families get involved when it was needed. Very enjoyable, I recommend this book especially if you like Mafia that isn't written in too dark a way (there are some gory parts though).

good plot poorly executed

DNF at 78% after almost dnf at 35% but tried to stick it out as it had several very good reviews.

I think the basic plot was good. But the instalove would have been more believable if there was anything to the characters to like. The motivations for different actions shifted all the time so it was impossible to get a sense of why anyone was doing things. And the characters just weren’t developed enough to give you a sense of who anyone was.

I think a good editor could turn this into something great.

This book, wow. I could not put it down once I started. It moves along at a great pace which makes for an easy and enjoyable read. The characters are awesome and no matter what happens you cannot help but love them. This book will not disappoint. It will keep you interested and reading until the very end and then you are needing more. This book needs to be read. No doubt about it.

fantastic

I really enjoyed Seb and Konnyr’s story. It was a slow burn and has a lot of sadness in it but they pull through together and in the end all the lose ends are tied up. Konnyr’s dad is a monster and I am so grateful for Seb and his brothers, Knox and Kaulin for helping them though this.

DNF @ 20%.

So, so dumb and meaningless. And the writing is really bad; not so much typos, but structure, continuity, and repetition. Do not trust the high ratings. I stopped at 20% and still feel like I wasted my time just getting that far. Trust me.

3.5 stars. The story and the characters were great, but the writing itself felt stilted to me and I couldn’t fully get into the story because of it.

I only made it to 20% when the ‘daddy’ thing started….sorry, I don’t do ‘daddy’ elements in books. This was my time to quit! Apart from that the storyline was really stupid!

Charlotte writing Mafia!! Yes, I like it!

It’s action, twists and hotness!
Babysitting a mafia brat is probably not Seb’s dream job, especially when it’s Konnyr..

Love the pacing, no strings is left loose at the end. And Charlotte is an amazing storyteller.

Enemies to lovers is one of my favourite tropes, and in my opinion the sex scenes in this one is pantymelting!!! Did I mention that it has dirty talk??? 🫦🔥
