I absolutely recommend this book for anyone who is living with, or thinks s/he might have ADD. It is still a highly misunderstood disease. Many adults may not have been properly diagnosed as children, especially if they do not fall into the "hyperactive" category. I particularly appreciated the chapter on the special concerns of women with ADD. To
paraphrase the author, men are more likely to be able to build a support network to help organize their lives (wives, assistants at work...) whereas society often expects women to play supporting, nurturing roles for others, a particularly difficult challenge for those with ADD.

Nice book that kept me engrossed. But the ebook contained so many typos that I kept wondering if they had just scanned the paper version. Some parts were very repetitive and others were glossed over. But it's still a nice overview of what it's like to live with ADD.

This book was decent. Since I read so many ADD books all at once recently I think I'm almost to the saturation point, so I probably enjoyed this book less than I might have if this had been the first one instead of the fifth. But it has some good information, recommendations, and resources, and is written clearly.

insightful, clear and practical. A little outdated (1996) and focussed on American readers, but other than that, a helpful read with lots of great advice.

Useful information, but also painfully outdated. Please turn off your fax machine, if all the incoming taxes are distracting you from dialing into the Internet.
