Future From Me Vol. 1

Rate this book
I have had a crush on P'Newt since middle school.
But I can only look at him from a distance.
He is too good for me, like the moon upon the sky.
He is currently a medical student and the most popular student at my university...
...and he has never known that I existed.

One day, everything changed.
When I received a message from myself 15 years in the future.
My future self told me that if I don't flirt with P'Newt now, I will regret it.

Because,
When I stopped falling for P'Newt,
When my heart doesn't belong to him anymore,
On the day I was about to marry someone else,
P'Newt will confess that 'he likes me'.

Both protagonists have advanced flirting skills.

mixed feelings

The concepts of the story is very well executed. I was engaged on the story from the get go. My only problem is that I don’t like how N’cha’s character was written and portrayed. I mean he really was very much as stupid as he also believed he was but as a reader it just pulled me out of the story at times. He was in a way “very annoying”. Overall I still liked the whole book. I would say my rating is more like a 3.5 than an actual 4 star rating. It’s a goodread for sure!

As a fan of Thai BLs, especially the cutesy high school-college fare dished out by GMMTV, this adorable no-brainer was right up my alley as a comfort read to wrap up 2024.
