Perfect for beginners like me, although the results are sometimes different than expected, but I take responsibility for this eventuality.
Perfetto per i principianti come me, anche se i risultati sono qualche volta diversi da quelli attesi, ma mi prendo le mie responsabilità per questa eventualità.
I received from the Publisher a complimentary digital advanced review copy of the book in exchange for a honest review.
This is one I'll be getting once it's published as we have a demand right now for origami books. These are really cute designs with well laid out folding instructions. I wouldn't say this is a book for beginners, but it'll be popular!
I received this book from Edelweiss in exchange of an honest review.
I really ADORE origami books, though generally I let my hubby do the folding, haha, he is just better at it. But I give it a shot too, afterwards. I just like seeing him try it first.
We had a fun time doing the origami in this one, we made a jellyfish, a bunny, and a penguin, oh and the cute dog! The instructions are clear, not too hard, with plenty of directions/easy to follow letters/numbers/etc., and I love that you follow a route instead of just getting it side by side. Though I would have liked if the shapes for the numbers were shaped like the animal you had to re-create origami-style. That would have just finished it for me! I loved the variety in this one, and like that there were also some non-animal origami, like the little dolls.
Everything is definitely very KAWAII and I was just AWW-ing and OOHHH-ing at the cute and had a hard time selecting which one to make plus also which paper to use. I need to up my kawaii level in cute origami papers. Most are a bit the same-ish.
All in all, if you love origami and love cute things then this is the book for you! Be sure to check it out. It will definitely fill a couple of hours of your time.
