Pretty awesome health book. It was with this title I learned plenty about wellness strategies along with risk factors to disease and prevention.
I recommend, as I haven't done earlier in my studies, to go through the text and note what you learn, either on paper or through an online markup application such as Typora. Just reading, you'll miss plenty of valuable information and context.
Along with noting novelties, come up with your own questions pertaining to the lectures and research those topics. Not all information is going to leave you with a sense of security in it's truthfulness, through answering your own questions and researching topics, not only do you become an active reader, but you get the most up-to-date, pertinent studies to fortify your memory. Doing this step will prolong your study but trust me it's very worth it.
This was such an easy-read for a text book! I was impressed with how much quality information was given on each subject. Each chapter held my attention, and I was able to relate to many things throughout the book. It's informative and helpful. It definitely provides motivation and tips to get started on making changes in different areas of your life and health situations. It encourages you to set goals and teaches you ways to be successful at keeping them, for a lifetime. Great book.
