Am I the only one who finds it impossible to learn a language with this kind of books? I mean there are so many out there. In thirty days? Seriously? You can learn a little by methods like this but it is essential to hear and (mostly) speak the language, too, something that language learning methods cannot provide.

This book is actually extremely good, I'm just a lazy person, that's all.

I've had german classes in school and there I learned the same topics that are exposed in this book, and it's pretty current, reporting you to important things for your daily life in Germany.
