This book is useful to have by me. I've inherited and acquired many old hand tools over the years. Some of them are beyond repair really but I can't bring myself to throw them away.
How to clean up and sharpen old tools, and what to look for when shopping the secondhand market. My only criticism is that it mostly covers planes. Other hand tools get relatively brief mentions.
Extremely useful book for anyone interested in correctly identifying, using and restoring old hand tools. He does a good job of making the complex simple.
