In a fight between Sakura and Endo are not only their fists that are flying - their personalities and, most of all, the reasons why they fight in the first place, clash against each other. Within the bloody and horrifying battle of the two opposing forces we are given the opportunity to learn Endo's backstory and the real reason for why the war started in the first place.
Touching fire will get you burned. I knew the repercussions, but I couldn't keep my hands back. [Endo]
Look. I knew that something was seriously wrong with Endo the moment he was introduced in the story, but o my gosh, I did NOT expect him to be a freaking masochist. Some people will read his backstory and think how romantic it is (I BET there will be people who will think that), but all I am feeling is just genuine fear and the feeling of wrongness. Endo acted like a helpless moth flying towards the fire, knowing that he would get burned and eventually die, but didn't care about it in the slightest. That's so messed up!! Can we also talk about the fact that these two (I mean, Endo and Takiishi) were just children, but they were both twisted and beyond saving even back then?! That's so horrifying, I have no words!

I was both proud and worried about my boy, Sakura, during the whole volume. He got "awakened" so he became stronger and his instincts were sharper than ever, and both these things made him basically an equal to Endo, but despite all that I couldn't shake the feeling of unease, no matter how hard I tried. I knew that things will get south soon, because things looked too great for us and it was obvious that we will not win so fast.
I was right, of course. Damn me.
Endo just had to feel the same freaking feelings he felt when he was with Takiishi and, because of that, we're in a big ass mess right now! He has his sight on Sakura the moment they met, sure, but I didn't expect it to transform into an obsession! I'm so worried for my boy Sakura, he's such in a deep trouble right now. I hope that Endo will just leave him alone or someone will come help or, or, or something! Do we need a miracle? Then please, let's create one! 😭

Esta pelea entre Endo y Sakura me parece super top.
Además, lo que disfruto leyendo sobre el amor-odio entre Sakura y Sugishita AJSHAJDH. Me parece super adorable que en verdad son dos personajes que les cuesta expresar afecto, pero que de alguna manera se lo expresan mutuamente.
Y sobre la historia entre Endo y Takiishi, me ha parecido super curiosa, la verdad. Y aunque realmente no he llegado a entender muy bien el motivo de la pelea (más que para que Tahiishi se divirtiera), me ha encantado.
Sinceramente me encanta que en este manga todos los personajes tengan a otro personaje con el que están obsesionados, le da un toque jahsjash.
Y en cuanto al final del volumen… Well es que estoy haciendo la review después de saber lo que pasa, pero me puso muy tensa en su momento ver cómo Sakura volvía a sentirse como al principio (iykyk).

Mi volumen favorito hasta la fecha. La pelea ha sido increíble para mí, de las mejores (tal vez influye que mi personaje favorito es Endo y mi segundo favorito es Sakura, pero anyways xd). Aun así, quiero que Sakura gane la pelea porque Endo es más modo loquito, en cambio Sakura me da pena que sienta tanta responsabilidad de tener que ganar para no decepcionar a nadie😭😭
También se ve lore de cuando Endo y Takiishi se conocieron, pero bueno, Endo me encanta pero Takiishi es que me es bastante indiferente por ahora (me gusta mucho su diseño, eso sí)

I fight this so funny cause it is soooo serious about these fights and how it makes them feel a live. I can't help but feel amused by these street fighting gangs. I feel so... empty after finishing this manga😭 This was so good. There were so many moments I wanted to cry and it was embarrassing as hell because I mostly read this at school😭 My goodness, where do I even begin when I love everything about it?
Honestly, I confused this with the Wind Breaker webtoon, the ones with the bikers? I think? That's why i haven't picked it up. But I saw so many fan content of it on TikTok and I kept wondering why I couldn't see any bikes. Turns out! They're completely different! Checking out a few chapters became finishing the whole thing in a little over 24 hours. It is... amazing, to say the least. Tsubaki as a character surprised me the most. A crossdresser but also explicitly in love with a guy? And that doesn't interfere with his character arc at all. He was handled so well that I completely forgot explicit queer characters in non-queer media are still not handled with the same care.The fact we get a backstory for him too and his struggles. Absolutely amazing.
Let's not forget the main character too, my favorite character in the whole manga if we're being honest. Main characters loved by everyone, you will never miss! Sakura's romantic sensor really did it for me too. He is such an adorable character that just needs love and reassurance every now and again.

Then I finally understood how Sugishita felt when he let Sakura go to the school to approach Ume, instead of him. That’s right, Sugishita, as Hiragi said, “you’re real cool.”
“I just feel head over heels for someone. He’s on the roof right now fightin’ your commander up there. Chika Takiishi.”
What?? Endo What??? After witnessing Tsubakino’s confession, then now I found this from Endo. WILD.
Cliffhanging in the end makes me wanna screaming!! Do not hurt Sakura!! The scene where the sakura flower and sakura being dragged down and the branch of sakura flower fractured … NOOOO!!!

August 28, 2025Endo is even more messed up than I thought 😐 his whole world since 5th grade has revolved around yet another crazy fighter. All of them are basically bored and basically dissociative. They feel emotion only when fighting, which obviously is going to have done problems. I kept having the thought that these kids really needed some parenting. I find it a bit frustrating that Sakura was doing so well and seemed to be close to winning, then Endo suddenly took it all back. That’s how you keep the action going, I guess.
The bonus chapter had Hiragi making a speech about whoever commits destruction, acts of evil, etc, Bofurin will taken them down. It reminded me so much of The Boondock Saints 😅

This series is so barely talked about (atleast for what i can see, i know alot of people know it but yeah) ITS AMAZING!! It talks about so many topics yet also bringing in the main plot of the story. The protagonist, sakura is very strong yet has weaknesses that bring him down. And thats GOOD!! I love when the main character isnt just op, and thats all. My current favs are 1. Kaji <33 he hold my heart and i also relate to him quite a bit. 2. CHOJI <33 my child trust! Excited for more volumes ⭐️

The way sakura knew he is stronger now because of all his friends who have supported and stuck by his side really changed everything. Im so glad he has friends who stick by him even if it takes for me to join endo just to protect his friends :(( but im glad his friends punched the sense out of him bc no matter what they will endure this instead of losing a friend they cared the most
