Mary

My life was a perfect dream. I had an amazing family, supportive best friends, and a boyfriend who adored every plus-sized inch of me.

In a single night, my blinders are ripped away. The mirage has evaporated to expose the nightmare hiding beneath.

Nine years of abuse, of having to relive the worst betrayal a person can withstand. Nine years of poison whispered into my ears, corrupting my vulnerable heart. Nine years of existence with only my precious babies to tether my sanity.

And then my world twists once more.

Patch

Nine years ago, life was almost perfect. Then a single moment stripped away my dreams. My only hope and salvation was my relentless search for answers.

For her. My Siren.

My prayers are finally answered, but you know what they be careful what you wish for. Mary may have returned to me, but she's no longer mine. The life that was supposed to have been ours, the family that we'd planned... it was supposed to be with me. Not him.

However, nothing is as it seems. A tangled web of truths wrapped in lies and betrayals runs deep into the underbelly of our city. It'll take an army to get to the bottom of it all, to have a chance to pick up the pieces of our shattered dreams and build the life we'd once dreamed.

It's a good thing we have not one, but two armies at our backs.

This book is intended for a mature audience aged 18+. It contains foul language, violence (including torture and murder), adult situations, body shaming (not from MC), fat shaming (not from MC), underage sex (consensual at age 17), kidnapping, human trafficking, grooming, abortion (while no abortions take place, there is talk about a side character possibly getting one), and mentions of rape (does not go into great details but there is talk about the situation).

There is no cheating and there is a HEA. Each book can be read as a standalone, but it is best read in order as the story builds on the members and their women/partners in the Steel Archangel’s MC.

When Mary moved into the neighbors, Luke was the neighbor who stood up for her along with his friends and as they grew older they both realized they were each others heart. It was all shattered though when tragedy hits and Mary is taken. Luke joined an MC and is now known as Patch but hoping he will find her again and when he does it becomes his mission to keep her and her kids safe.

I really wanted to read this and there are parts I liked but it had so much going on and I felt like it became too much at times. I would check out more in this series though to see if the next one pulls me into the series again.

2.5* Starts off really well but then it gets ridiculous. The mistakes are endless and yet again the mfc is body shamed by nearly everyone! 😡

It started off really well but I really couldn’t stand all the body shaming of Mary. Mary is curvy and her mother practically starved her as a child to get her to lose weight, before her dad figured out what she was doing and divorced her. It took him over ten years before he figured out she was abusing Mary, regularly hitting her and calling her names. I’m really not sure how he missed it!! 😡😡 Then there’s Stephen who she’s married to, the bunnies, her cousin, and uncle. Sigh. I really can’t take all the body shaming!! 😡😡😡 Mary’s father is Greek and his parents and sisters are all lovely, and I loved that side. Her mothers father is a don and Mary had no idea.

Patch/ Luke meets Mary when they’re both 10 years old and are instant friends. When they get older they fall in love and are going to get married but Mary is kidnapped by her family and made to marry a man of their choosing. Over nine years later Mary is married to Stephen and had two kids with him, and he beats her regularly. Patch has spent years trying to find Mary and get her away from Stephen. It’s really sweet how he is with her and I loved how he treat the kids and wanted to be their dad. That part of the book is great, but there are so many mistakes. For example: Mary’s mother has two half brothers, not stepbrothers, and there’s so many spelling mistakes it was getting silly.

The plot gets ridiculous with the ‘mafia family’ only allowing people in who have a dagger that’s given to them at birth. It’s just silly. 😂😂 To be honest I started skimming pages later on as there’s too many plots and they got more and more ridiculous as they went on.

Some parts are really good, but for a lot of it I ended up skimming pages.

This has ups down twist and turns good reading

this book is truly special to me and the author knows why. Mary's life started out a little rough. Her mother is an awful human. luckily she moves to a nice town and makes some great and loyal friends. for a little while life gets better and she's happy and in love with her boyfriend Luke. But then chaos happens and all of a sudden shes married into an abusive relationship with a monster of a husband. Shes doing what she can to protect her three children from the evil they live with. By chance though she runs in to her long lost boyfriend and the rescue mission starts, but her "husband" wont let her go that easy. this is a must read. I just want to thank the author again for how amazing this story is.

Patch is the third installment in the series. Being thrown back into the Steel Archangel's MC world was such a treat! I love the main group of characters and the overall plot is very intriguing. In this book, we follow the story of Patch and Mary has they try and find their way to each other, Mary having been abducted in her late teens. If you've read the previous books, you know you're in for a darker story with an incredible HEA, which I don't love dark books usually, but for some reason I can't get enough of this series! The bad guys get a serious dose of karma and I was on the edge of my seat for most of the book. Mary is an incredibly strong woman, her kids are so adorable and Patch, well, all I have to say is drool worthy. And together they make one incredible couple. Can't wait for the next book!

It is very rare that a book leaves me speechless. I am so awestruck by this obvious labor of love that R. Knight has written. Patch was a HUGE book. I mean over a 1000 pages that were actually pertinent to the story and not filler was amazing. It took me over 3 days to read but it was so worth it. At times I cried for the god awful things that were done to Mary. She was the true meaning of a warrior imo. I am glad that I went into this book blind because I got to fully appreciate what was being written. I’ve loved all of these characters from the very beginning in Thor, Dragon, and Levi’s book and am anxiously looking forward to the next chapter. Bravo on another amazing story👏👏👏! 🤌🏻❤️

outstanding!

Loved the characters and the plot. It is good to read about a woman without a stick shaped thin body. Women come in all shapes and sizes with varying personalities. And it’s good to see them in such an exciting MC book. I think MC books should get a category of their own just like paranormal and rom com romances. This was such a pleasure to read. I didn’t get bored once. It does have some references to bad things being done to good people but it also shows that deserved retribution is best served by those who were harmed. I really enjoyed this story. Highly recommend. It and the series.

Must read series

From book 1 you will be hooked. Must read in order to fully understand how everyone knows each other and what has gone down.
very strong FMC who has been through unbelievable hell and still held her own and found her happy everafter. Mafia, MC, bad people getting what they deserve and so much more. Can't recommend this series enough. Some parts may be hard to read depending on your own life story. Check triggers first. But if like me you don't have any and crave a little darkness with spicy parts and people getting what they deserve this series if for you.

Get the tissues ready

This was a powerful heart wrenching story. So much trauma and pain. When I say get the tissues ready I truly mean it. This is a white knuckle, fist clenching , sad tale of two people who were torn apart only to discover each other again unexpectedly. For Patch he does everything in his power along with the MC to protect his ONE and the children. Lots of triggers and tough moments to get through. Strength and determination make this a HEA.

Sold and Saved

Mary faced many obstacles in her life starting with a mother’s opinion about her to finally having friends that got her almost through high school. Mary and Luke are high school sweethearts that are torn apart when she is kidnapped, until 9 yrs later when Luke sees her in the ER. This is a Dark mafia/MC book that covers, kidnapping, trafficking, rape, torcher and betrayal and rescue ends with a HEA

You Nailed It!!

I don't post often but, I really love this story. I'm glad that she had most of her family support on both sides. It's long but I just wanted it to keep on going. Can't wait for the next book in the series. It very detailed with background and doesn't leave you hanging.

patch and Mary

Watch for the content warning. This couple had one intense journey to be able to be together. Like always loving the MCs old ladies and the come together as a family to protect their family.

Perseverance

This book shows a lot of perseverance with the main female. She keeps going through everything and keeps her kids safe. She comes out in the end with her happily ever after, but she goes through it to get it.
