The focus of this case study will be on Northern Borders Municipality in which my company has been awarded the PMO establishment and operating contract, the main challenge here is to transform an old-fashion-managed governmental entity in a remote nomad region of a country that is still under development, the governmental hierarchy and structure is very rigid, employees lack innovation and aspiration, even in the top leadership roles, I found this a great opportunity to test the feasibility and efficiency of project management standards and methodologies to transform these municipalities into well-managed and efficient institutions.
