The enneagram system has been used for decades to help people understand their strengths and weaknesses, heal neuroses and inner conflicts, enhance creativity, strengthen team building in the workplace, and aid in couples therapy. This guide takes the mystery and complexity out of this rich system of analysis and allows anyone to benefit from its useful insights.
Good intro book to the enneagram. Much better alternative to the free enneagram websites online which tend to be very extreme in their personality descriptions. Wish I had read it years ago--really gave me some fundamental insight into why the people around me act the way they do and what makes them tick. Very quick read--definitely worth checking out.
This is one of the better books on the Enneagram that I have read (and I am a type 5 so that is a lot of books lol.). It does a good job of not only explaining the types but going on to discuss their ramifications.
Super cool! The enneagram sounds complicated, but this book breaks down the facets in a truly digestible way without making me feel like an...ahem... idiot.
An excellent introduction to the Enneagram. When I first heard that I was a two, I was not pleased with that. It’s been a good springboard to better humility.
Good, balanced introduction to the nine types of the Enneagram. Identifies different traits of each type, helping you to explore and realize which is your type. Also looks into different kinds of relationships and how the nine types interrelate accordingly. Helpful introduction to the Ennneagram. This is where I finally learned my type, just when I was getting frustrated and thinking that I wouldn't find out. But when I did, it was like the author had seen my soul.
This is a wonderful book, I have had the opportunity to study with Herb Pearce over ten times. He is a wonderful teacher with a deep understanding of people and the Enneagram.
