Patti's description of the Roberts family is surprisingly gentle (given what she went through) while still being brutally honest (about them and herself). It's interesting to read about the private personalities of Oral and Richard; the insight makes the ups and downs of the ministry/university more understandable. In light of recent events, this books is a great read.
