This is the second book in the Children's novel series by Mackenzie Arnold. In this book we follow a young Macca as she and her soccer team prepare for one of the most challenging matches on the season; while also dealing with friendship breakdowns that could alter the dynamic of the soccer team.

Macca finds herself "caught in the middle" of the fight between a new team member and her best friend/long time team member. She also feels caught in the middle of trying to train and improve her goalie skills, while helping family and friends with their own different sports.

This book showcases the importance of continued friendship and support through challenging situations; as well as there being more than one way to do things. By helping with other sport training sessions, Macca incidently improves on skills needed when in goals.

I read this with my daughter and she loved both the story and the illustrations spread throughout the book. She can't wait to read the next book from "her favourite goalie"
